After getting tired of going to the Nissan dealership to have my car fixed for ridiculous prices, I…read moredid some research and found Autostream in Randallstiwn. I had no idea what to expect but I just wanted good service for a decent price. My expectations were far exceeded. It is an amazing place to get your car fixed for a fantastic price. The employees at the front desk are phenominal and the mechanics are super fast and talented. I feel like I am part of a family there. Regardless of how long it has been since I have called, they always remember me and welcome my business. It is a smaller location on liberty road and it is a bit if a fast turn into the parking lot but the business itself is not hard to find at all. It is super easy to schedule an appointment online, by phone, or in person. There is a shuttle service if you need to go while your car is being worked on. I prefer to hang around and chat with the staff. Either way, I highly recommend this business and will continue to go myself!

That was a great help considering I was short on cash and that helped a whole lot. Very greatful. Mr. Russell at Randallstown was the hero because he also had the service that picked me up at last minute so I could pick up my car. Now that"s what I call great service. It was incredible. One of the best services I have had from a car dealer.

I chose to have a MD Auto Inspection done at…read moreCooper's Auto (which was the priciest quote, by the way) because of the convenience to my home. Literally a stone's throw. The owner Duane was very rude. I purchased my car out of state based on a deal that did not fall through with a previous customer. The dealer installed front tint for the customer and the tint on the front passed their state's inspection. The owner at Cooper's calls me up and tells me bluntly, "Your inspection failed due to your tint. We also can't roll your windows down because there is tape on the buttons, so your window inspection failed too. You need to have the tint removed." Point blank. The End. Now mind you, noone wants to hear something like this after they've just purchased a vehicle. I am not one of those people who is not going to do their research or ask questions. So when I get to the shop to retrieve the car I am questioning him and the woman at the front desk about the MVA website saying nothing about your tint being part of your safety inspection, but instead talks about glazing, so I'm confused. Also, why couldn't they just remove the tape or call me about it before failing it? To which he responded "We don't have time to be calling people about stuff like that. Our job is to inspect, that's it." The woman says "Rather it passed or not, your inspection still would have failed because of the tint." My response to her was "That may be true, but the mva site also says once a reinspection is made, only a visual may be needed which will not require a fee. If the window had failed, then it would not require a visual inspection, because you have to physically roll the window down and I could be charged." Silence. The part that really got under my skin was the owner had this I could care less attitude about the situation. Basically, he was like "Oh well, you need to get the tint removed. Not my issue or my fault. If you have a problem take it up with State Police." Even came out of his mouth and said "I don't know what the big deal is!" The woman at the counter said I was yelling at them. I told her I was [not] yelling at her and she said "Well your voice is stern". OK, so which is it? I'm yelling or my voice is stern? Don't lie on me and try to play victim. After that, I got quiet. Because I knew what games were trying to be played. The overall issue for me was how nasty and blunt the owner was. It's obvious that deals primarily with a male dominated clientele. He needs remedial training on how to talk to women. Saying something as simply as "I'm sorry about this, or I know this is going to cost you...I wish I could do something to help you...I understand...I can relate..." Anything! But I received none of that from him. And clearly, he saw that I was upset, especially since it was going to cost me additional money to have the tint removed. If I had known all of this I would have told the out of state dealer to immediately remove the tint. Let me be clear, I am not blaming Coopers Auto for my tint needing to be removed. The owner was doing his job. What I do have an issue with is how nonchalant, nasty and blunt the owner was. I had to get the tint removed and then returned it to the same inspection station (him) per MD law. I go in the next morning to have him reinspect it and he's skimming through some papers, barely grunts a Good morning and continues doing what he is doing, then finally says "Are you staying or waiting?" I said no, gave him the keys and left. My inspection passed, and I retrieved my car later. Customer service is about keeping your customers coming back. Clearly, this guy missed the mark on this one with me. I won't be coming back. Ever.

They…read morebelieve the issue is just a bad oil filter, so they replaced it for only $9 including parts and labor. They told me that if the light comes back, the next step would be to replace the oil pressure switch, which costs about $350 because it sits under the manifold and takes time to reach. I appreciated that they didn't jump straight to the expensive repair. They tried the simple, inexpensive fix first and only suggested moving to the costly option if it becomes necessary. It felt honest and fair--more like, "Let's try the easy solution first, and if that doesn't work, we'll tackle the bigger job without breaking the bank.

If I could leave this place negative stars, I would. I've never experienced such unprofessionalism…read moreand incompetency. I brought in LEXUS pads and rotors to be installed for my front brakes. Shortly after, I encountered horrible squealing noises. I contacted them, explained the issue, brought it in again and they assured me nothing was wrong because they "couldn't hear anything". As soon as they pulled around my vehicle, my car made the noise and I said "that's it, that's the noise I'm referencing!". I was told I can bring it back again if the problem persists. I then recorded the noise and emailed them the vidoes. I finally brought my car back, a 3rd time, and since they heard the noise this time, they were able to determine it was from not having brake shims. I was told my car should've already had those when I purchased it. So, I'm assuming they likely threw them away when they initially replaced my brakes. I paid $273 for LABOR for them to install them the first time and another $200 for the missing part and labor to reinstall everything with the shims. The owner refused to eat the charge or take accountability for not recommending this the first time or for possibly discarding the old shims. Instead, he placed blame on LEXUS PARTS for not advising me to also purchase the shims. He also noted this is why they don't like to do work when customers bring in their own parts. Firstly, since they would've gotten the exact SAME parts from LEXUS, but would've taxed me on them, I likely would've experienced the same issue; clearly, they didn't know to suggest shims so they wouldn't have even purchased them if I ordered the parts through them anyway. Secondly and most importantly, why would I rely on a PARTS department, who is merely selling parts that customers are asking for, to recommend I purchase additional brake hardware? Isn't that what certified mechanics should be doing? Isn't it their job to recommend something when it isn't working effectively and determine the root cause of an issue? Clearly not, and had they checked this the first time, this entire situation could've been avoided. I've wasted my time and money for something so simple, any amateur mechanic could've identified this issue off rip. This is not the first experience I've had with them, which resulted in taking my vehicle back to them. As a 3 year and loyal patron of this business, I will no longer be supporting them again. It shouldn't take 3 visits to any competent, certified, mechanic to identity a such a simple issue. If you are a woman, I highly recommend that you don't take your car here, they will insult your intelligence because of your gender.
