Nobody wants to deal with a collision center. It means your vehicle is damaged. It's even more cumbersome when it's not your fault. I needed my truck repaired after an accident. My insurance referred me to Gerber. Customer service was excellent. Kyle was easy to work with and provided consistent updates on the status of my vehicle. My repair estimate was 2 weeks, and it only took 2 business days. Drop off Friday at 2pm; repair complete Tuesday at 2pm. Under promise and over deliver. This is my second time working with Gerber for a no-fault accident. I hope I don't have to see them anytime soon (smile) but would gladly recommend them to others. read more

Worst experience ever dealing with a collision shop. Terrible communications. Absolutely awful workmanship. Completely unable to meet promised delivery and when it was delivered after FIVE MONTHS, it was not a professional job. After having our vehicle for five months, we had to take it to another Gerber location to get it fixed properly. Avoid the Reisterstown Gerber location and use the Gerber shop on Baltimore National Pike - they needed TWO WEEKS to fix what the Reisterstown shop messed up. I highly recommend this repair shop. They were very quick and fair on getting my estimate and starting the work. They communicated with me every step of the way and let me know completion date. Pros: They have a good working relationship with insurance companies. The tall manager is extremely accommodating and pleasant. They did do a good job rebuilding my back hatch after a highway collision. Cons: Camden had my vehicle for A MONTH and never called me to follow up... It wasn't a big deal however after I called about it they kept swearing it will be ready Friday then no answer till late Wednesday evening. I couldn't make it that morning before work on short notice and they have poor hours for pickup. I get a call early this morning starting with "you were supposed to pick up your car yesterday!!" Way to dick around for a month without communication then think you are more important than my job. Worst bodyshop ever. They have no clue what the heck their doing. I took my vehicle in there sometime on March 2013 (not sure the exact date) for repairs to the intermarriage. I was told they would have it done within two weeks. The day I go to pick up the vehicle I'm told the vehicle isnt ready. Every deadline I got, they stated the same thing till three months later in Mid June, they finally finished it. When I get the car home I noticed scratches to the center console. I just said screw it no point in going back... I will never ever go back there ever again. read more

I took my Lexus to Camden on Monday May 5 to repair dents in my hood. I was told the whole hood would have to be repainted. I was very concerned about blending the pearlized paint. I was assured that they could take care of this. And I was told it would take 3 to 4 days. I was apprehensive about leaving my car with Camden because of a bad review on yelp! But they have been in business for years and has always have had a good reputation. So , figured you can't make everyone happy. Especially with only 1 or 2 dissatisfied customers. Today Tuesday the 6 I got a call my car was ready. I asked if they are calling me by mistake? I went to pick up my car and to my surprise, it looked like is was right off the show room floor. If it wasn't for my license plate I would have thought is was some one else's car. In all the years I have taken my cars to different body shops, Camden is by far the top of the bar! I'll rate this establishment a 1 because a zero does not exist . From start to finish my experience with this facility was subpar at best. From my initial interaction to drop of my vehicle - I was met with little to no enthusiasm , no good morning , little to no eye contact except to ask for my key. Checking on the status of my car became my responsibility with no status given during a week repair. My pickup was even more horrible. Same attendant no emotion except to ask for my payment method . There was no walk around the car to view repairs together for approval . If you want to be an invisible customer, dont mind being ignored and like the feeling that your money does t matter then Camden is the place for you. A piece of plastic under my front bumper came loose and was dragging on the ground. They told me the replacement cost but said it was not really a necessary piece and they removed it. While I waited, they helped me with replacing my windshield wiper. I was in and out in minutes and there was no charge for anything. My SUV met a deer and I went to several shops to get estimates. Camden has great customer service at the front. Fully explained pricing and time necessary to complete work. Quick turnaround and great work. Their pricing was a fraction of other nearby shops. I waited a few weeks to post a review to see if the quality of the body work held up and it looks great. Hopefully I won't have to come back but if my vehicles need work, I know where to go. read more

Grossly overcharged. Didn't find out till afterward when I mentioned the work to a friend's friend who also is an auto body mechanic. Should've known they were dishonest from the jump. On my 1st visit there, the very street/ghetto girl at the front desk was dodging customers--telling the other larger gentleman to tell a customer who was on hold that she wasn't in the office (as she was "tired of talking that man.") My car was in an accident and, as I've used this location before and they were on my approved list for my insurance company I had no hesitation using them again. Big mistake ! My car was promised by September 9th but wasn't ready until the 21st. As I left for vacation on the 17th this meant I couldn't collect until the 27th. No customer service whatsoever, no one ever called and said, sorry about the delay, it was always I who had to call them and find out what was going on. Will not be using these again and would advise anyone who wants their vehicle fixed in a hurry, to consider somewhere else. read more
