Makes for a better seal. 6 heater thermostat is very difficult to toggle on Fix: there is no fix. This is normal on all Atwood thermostats 7 back clear vinyl window's zipper is sewn in making it inoperable Fix: we were able to trim the threading to open up the zipper windows, a small stitch job 8 side window tie was stitched in ( was able to pull it loose ) Fix: same as above 9 Stove set screws are not flush and lid hardware fell off Fix: reinstalled hardware and insured a tight finish for travel 10 back roof when closed is hitting the shock on the left side ( street side ) right side has about a half in clearance Fix: adjustment and roof seal fix has corrected 11 curtains on kitchen side do not close all the way Fix: adjust curtain placement on Velcro strip 12 front left side has a portion of paneling that does not meet and it was attempted to be covered up with caulking Fix: PLEASE GIVE ME FURTHER DETAIL OF THIS ISSUE. I am writing a review of Hometown Trailer Sales & Service in Butler, PA, highlighting the…read moreexceptional wheel bearing service and customer support that I experienced recently from Jamie & Bruce with the organization. My wife and I recently traveled for 10 mouths out west and back so I wanted to have the wheel bearings repacked, I had talked with several trailer service companies and mobile RV techs while on our journey and received estimates of $300-400 to service four wheels. Hometown Trailer Sales completed the job out the door for $150 and that included new seals, shop fees, and tax. All I can say is, great service at an exceptional price! My 37' Grand Design travel trailer was serviced by Jamie who has 30+ years of experience working on trailers and RVs. It was clear Jamie understands the importance of well-maintained wheel bearings for the safety of taking your RV on the road. Jamie proved to be skilled in diagnosing and repairing any issues concerning wheel bearings, ensuring our trailer is roadworthy and reliable. He took the time to educate me on all aspects of wheel bearing maintenance, suspension, and brakes. In addition, I asked to enter the shop after the wheels were removed to take pictures of the wheel/axle/suspension assembly for my own knowledge and awareness.... Jamie was very accommodating and provided additional insight concerning each of the areas for future maintenance. In talking with Bruce and Jamie, it was clear the organization prides itself on providing exceptional customer service with integrity. As a customer, I felt they treated me with respect and provided professional service with a commitment to excellence. If you're looking for a reliable and trustworthy trailer repair shop, I strongly recommend Hometown Trailer Sales. Contact Bruce and Jamie to schedule an appointment and learn more about their services.
