All employees wear masks and are quite thorough about sanitizing things before working on them (e.g. spraying my bike tire before they started working on it). The people who work here are super knowledgeable and super nice. I've been here a few times (I'm a bicycle novice) and every time I've been pleased! You can set up an appointment online but not required. It can take a while to get an appointment (but check their website) so I would recommend just coming by if you have a quick question.

I thought it was an overinflate issue. The wheel locked, decimated. CARRIED my bike 5 blocks. So piss'd off. FWIW I do not blame the person who did the original realignment. It is not his fault. It's the manager for setting up a bad chain of command and her appalling gaslighting. They said "Yeah your rim was already indented, and look, it's the back rim too. When the brakes applied to that, this front wheel rim split, caved in and exploded.". That'll be $85 more, they said. New wheel, inner tube, costs. Uhm. What? The alignment of the brake pads is done when you align them TO THE RIM OF THE WHEEL. You cannot align the brakes without aligning the rim, they work together in a pair. That is the time to tell the bike-rider of the impending catastrophe. I was so angry. They didn't tell me. Or warn me or make it known. I requested a discount from the manager. I'd just had the brake adjustment. This lady nicked and dimed me. They fixed the brake alignment and must have seen my coming back for more. Jeez. Switch bait. She gaslit my Every. Single. Sentence. Blamed me for not having a service earlier, for not noticing it myself and said it wasn't their responsibility to tell me about the rim. Uhm, it's LITERALLY your responsibility. I'm not the technician. Brake pads apply to wheel rims. It's Literally. Your. Job. argued I told her I felt very unsafe and didn't trust this shop now. She argued my every sentence. She said anything she could at every turn to make herself look good. Lady. At least have the COMMON decency to agree with a sentence out of my mouth. I shouldn't have to argue over and over or defend myself when I'm telling the manager I feel unsafe. When leaving, she told me to take care of servicing and to come back for adjustments. Lady, if you think I'm ever coming back to this store, you're crazier than I already think you are. And I'll expect her to reply to this with yet more gaslighting.

My kids love to walk, run, hangout in the wagon while we enjoy a nice stroll. Morning walks are definitely the best as it super quiet and I'm able to really just take in all the peace and quiet that being on the trail brings. Of course it get busier during the weekends but because the trail extends such a long distance, I've never felt that it was overcrowded and there are plenty of places where you can park and hop on the trail. Truly a wonderful place!

It was just as nice as I remembered, maybe even a little nostalgic for me. The trail was calm and not too busy, but there were still enough people around to feel comfortable/safe without feeling crowded. It's perfect for families out for a stroll or a casual bike ride, and also great for runners and more experienced cyclists. Fall seems like one of the best times to visit. The tall trees lining the trail were beautiful, creating a really serene atmosphere. I genuinely enjoyed every minute of it and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy some quiet time outdoors. Being outside and taking in the beauty of it all was motivation enough to keep walking, and we ended up walking for a little over 4 miles. A great alternative for a trail in the metro area if you don't want to deal with the hustle and bustle of the beltline. Can't wait to go back!

I use my middle…read morename on personal social media nowadays and my profile pics on here are of a young woman in her twenties, which I am definitely not anymore. Hehe. But it is good to know that Pedego still does "acoustic" bike repairs, you'll be seeing me soon for that! In any case, I think I wrote that last review before I bought my actual Pedego about two years ago, which is kind of crazy. I am now a very proud Pedego owner and I love being a "regular" at this store. For the first year I owned my Pedego, I ended up having chain drop issues and coming into the store to get them fixed; also one flat tire. But there was apparently a manufacturer issue on this model and there was a chain guard fix (I don't know what I'm talking about just doing the best I can with lingo) and since then I haven't had any issues, so I haven't been back except for tuneups and once to rent a bike when my friend was in town! They keep a copy of my bike lock key (Pedego locks which are registered) because I am constantly losing things. Everyone always super helpful and they remember me. Nothing makes me feel more like a "neighborhood gal" than this place. So we've now established that this store is 5+ stars in service. A few things to know about Pedegos themselves if you're considering buying one. * I have a city commuter, and it's a beast; the battery is heavy. But well worth it. I tend to use level 1-2 pedal assist at all times, which I justify because the battery is so dang heavy. It takes a bit to get used to starting up - I use the throttle to get myself going after a stoplight, etc. I don't think I've ever used level 6 pedal assist, it's terrifying. But I have used 3-4 when I'm in a hurry and it makes a difference. * My mom (late 60s) also has one and loves it. They even drove it to the beach last year - so it's POSSIBLE to put it on a rack - but we have a hybrid van and haven't managed to get a rack that can handle it yet. * My initial hesitation in buying an e-bike was that I'd never ride my regular bike again and it wouldn't be a workout. And like, look - that's true; I burn far fewer calories on bike rides / my heart rate doesn't go up nearly as high. It's just too hard not to throttle up those hills. But it's also true that I ride it way more often and I feel way more empowered to get where I'm going. I once rode up to a doctor's appointment in Sandy Springs! * During the pandemic when there was a parts supply shortage it was a bit scary / awkward because if something broke I wasn't sure I could get another one. I think I was particularly concerned about tire tubes? or something? (Again, I can't remember any lingo). And Pedegos do tend to have rather specialized parts. But every time this happened, the folks at this store basically did whatever they could to get me back on the road, even one time taking a part from another bike in the fleet! I'm telling you they are the best. * I really want one of the Pedegos with a seat for a second rider on back so I can cart my kids around - they have one in the rental fleet. But they're never in stock to buy! Kathy says she'll tell me the second she gets one in, and I know she will :) Ahem, I should start saving... And if you're considering renting one: * comes with lock and saddlebags and helmet. That may seem obvious to some people but it wasn't to me and I was happy :) * it's on the expensive side, but definitely worth considering anyway. it's located right on the beltline and these things are so fantastic; it's a great way to explore the city for a day. We rented one for my friend when she was in town and had a great day riding up to Piedmont Park on the beltline, then over to the High Museum where we caught the exhibit, then rode back - all in ~5 hours. Yay Pedego!!!
