It's a very beautiful set up, with art and different decorations, our server grace was awesome! Very on top of a large group order. Our food was great! Chips and tacos were fresh and tasty, and I enjoyed my pollo tacos with green sauce! Can't wait to go back!

I got the quesa birria tacos, which is shredded beef and melted cheese in a double corn tortilla. They come three to an order, with a cup of red consomme to dip them into, and a couple of lime wedges to squeeze over everything. They do not come with any sides, so I ordered the refried pinto beans and carrot rice, because I really wanted some rice and beans. Beans and rice are my litmus test of any Mexican restaurant, and I'm happy to say that the rice and beans at Tlahcos passed the test with flying colors, and they are sublime. I don't practice Santeria, but perhaps the people at Tlahcos do, because their food is bewitching. The carne asada was also ordered, and it came with grilled nopales (cactus), cebollita canbray (little onions), grilled panela cheese, plus guacamole, salsa, rice and black beans. It was a 98%, and what would have raised it to a 100% was if it came with tortillas. But really, it was a great dish! If you're a person who is used to eating carne asada on a regular basis, you will be satisfied with this one. Chips and salsa are complimentary, which shows that Tlahcos knows its Plainfield-area visitors. My children, who eat like birds, filled themselves up on chips and salsa and declined a full meal, but Tlahcos does have a kids menu. On the kids menu, you'll find arroz con pollo, mini cheese quesadillas, a taco, mac & cheese, chicken nuggets and a mini pizza. Kid meals come with your choice of side, which are fries, rice & beans or a cup of fruit. They have a full cocktail list, as well as beer, wine and hot beverages (coffee and tea). I got a Paloma, which was a little light on the booze, but tasty nevertheless. The rim of the glass was beautifully decorated with Tajin, which added a nice, spicy kick. It was one of those drinks that makes you want to lick the glass.

I'm trying to catch up on some of my food truck reviews from the 2025 Statehouse Market season…read more While I have historically had a few tried and true trucks, this year I've been trying to experiment more. Zo-Bot's Soda and Fries is pretty much exactly what you expect. Billing itself as Indy's first "Dirty Soda" shop, Zo-Bot's definitely did precede Swig, a national chain that recently entered the Indy market. For those not in the know, "Dirty Soda" is essentially a drink that includes soda "spiked" with cream, flavored syrups, or fruit juices. Strangely enough, the trend finds a lot of its roots in Mormonism (Don't ask me to explain it). Zo-Bot's has a decent variety of Dirty Soda options with bases of sodas like root beer, Coke, Sprite, lemonade, seltzer, Dr. Pepper, Mountain Dew, and others. They also carry a variety of seasoned fries. The truck is fun and festive. The people are friendly. I really enjoy the drinks - I'm quite fond of the Indy 500 - a drink blending Mountain Dew, mango, and blood orange. I seem to be particularly fond of the Mountain Dew-based options. Being a footless Yelper, I had to try "Leg Day" - Mountain Dew, Peace, Pineapple, and Coconut Cream. I'm not a big fan of coconut, however, I did like this drink. This is the kind of truck I like finding at Statehouse Market. It's something I wouldn't usually seek out - an original experience on one of the rare days that I get out of my cubicle for lunch. I will admit I'm a bit hit-and-miss with the fries, though I'm still skewing upward toward a 5-star with quality products, fair prices, friendly employees, and a super fun truck. I do like the garlic parm seasoning for fries - plus, hey, they have funnel cake fries. It's decadent but fun and tasty.

They come to lots of different farmers markets and events. They also serve seasoned fries with seven types of seasonings you can choose from - salt and vinegar, chipotle, garlic Parmesan and more. They also make funnel cake fries with caramel or chocolate toppings. These drinks hit the spot on a hot day!!! Wish I had one now!

The dining area has televisions to view places around the area. I wasn't really hungry, so I just took a gamble and ordered the Buffalo Cauliflower. It took about 8 minutes for my food to be prepared, and it was hot and fresh. I was very pleased with my order. To my surprise, the cauliflower was very tasty and flavorful. I highly recommend. I highly recommend checking this place out. It has a wonderful vibe and atmosphere, top-notch service, and some delicious food. I hope to make it back here soon.

I was in during the lunch rush but the lone gentleman behind the bar was attentive and made me feel welcome. As far as the ambience, light and refreshing, fairly trendy. The beers were good but the star of my lunch was absolutely "the beast" burger which is a wild boar, bison, elk, and wagyu patty. Easily top 3 burgers ive eaten. Definitely coming back next time im out here to visit family.
