But these folks are in a different class. They were extremely professional, while also friendly, informative, and skilled at diagnosing and fixing the problems quickly. I signed up for the VIP furnace and AC maintenance plan without batting an eye. I know it'll pay for itself in the long run by extending the life of my "mature" HVAC system. Their furnace maintenance was thorough, and the receipt included a detailed rundown of system pressures they took. They explained that these readings will be used as a baseline for comparison next year. They informed me about basic maintenance I can do. I'm curious about this stuff and like to learn, so I can do as much of it myself as possible.They even put easy instructions for annual water heater draining right on the unit. I have confidence in their integrity, that they will only suggest maintenance or repairs that are actually needed. Also, Leann went to bat for me when I ran into a snaffoo with my home warranty company, when they ordered the new water heater from Texas rather than getting one locally. Leann made extra calls to iron things out, got authorization to order a unit locally, and we had hot water pronto. Lawrence, thanks for your commitment to excellent service. This level of quality starts at the top. And thanks to your awesome staff for taking such pride in their work, and good care of me and my old house. Even though I think our water quality is great, I signed up for an analysis and a free water filter. After the show, I received multiple calls to schedule this, and finally decided to answer the call. Here are the two things that got my spidey senses tingling. First of all, nearly every reference to confirming the appointment included stating that 'my spouse/partner' was to be available as well. That immediately gets me to thinking this is going to be a high-pressured sales call, something I don't care for. In fact, that's what reviews confirmed for me - once they got into the house, it could be hours before they finally got the message. Lastly, once everything was confirmed for the appointment, he then said he was going to have me chat with one of his managers. When she came on and verified the info, including the spouse/partner thing, I could feel the regret starting. When I hung up, I did my review online. Service seems to be rated very highly, which is great. What I didn't want or need was a relentless, high-pressured push for something that may be marginally helpful but probably not all that necessary in Overland Park.
