I was able to easily set up an appointment online within a time frame that would work for me. They called prior to the technician coming out. The technician was professional and friendly and I feel like the quote they gave me was reasonable compared to other companies. They do charge a $49 service fee normally but that's relatively lower compared to other companies. The technician waived the service fee which was extremely nice and not expected. I did end up going with the company I normally use but only because they quoted me a lower price for the same thing but I would consider using Mission in the future if needed.

Be very cautious with Mission Plumbing, Heating and Cooling…read more My neighbor recently had Mission out for a service call; the problem was with the control board in the air handling unit. The tech had to leave to get a board, but was back within a half-hour and spent a little over two hours total, including the time to get a new board. The board was under warranty, so there was no cost for the board. He was charged $1,063.48, but given a 10% "over 65" discount, so total charge was $957.13, which works out to somewhere between, $320 and $479 an hour. The technician also said that he was lucky that the board was under warranty, otherwise it would have cost and additional $1,000 for the board (this was also verified by the service manager at Mission). We got the model number of the board, searched for it on the Internet, and found it on the manufacturer's website (Goodman) for less than $100. We contacted Mission to discuss with the general manager twice; he never returned our calls. We then visited Mission in person to visit with him, but he "was in a meeting", so we were directed to Gabe, who confirmed the charges above. When asked about the pricing for the board, we were told that it is not generated locally, but by Southern. Mission was purchased in April 2021 by Southern Home Services of Maitland, Florida, which owns 26 PHVAC companies primarily along the southeast coast of the United States. Southern is, in turn, owned by Gryphon Investors, a private equity company. So not only does Mission need to cover their overhead locally, they most likely need to also provide funding for Southern, who in turn possibly has to return cash to Gryphon. It all flows uphill. Southern also owns C. M. Mose, another local PHVAC contractor in the Kansas City area. Moral of the story: Mission may have been a good company at one time when it was locally owned, but it has changed. Get pricing up front. Question the technician. If you don't like what you're hearing, go somewhere else, and don't hesitate to go with a mom and pop; quite possibly they can do the job just as well for quite a bit less money. They don't have the overhead that the big guys do (especially if owned by private equity).

Anyway! like i mentioned a signed a lease and that day i meet up with the property manager to view the house. Note, i already signed the lease agreement and the property manager brought up that she forgot to add on two charges. So, she added them on. . WoW! first mistake. Knew that day it was going to be they did not care about you, just chasing MONEY! I also had issues trying to get repairs done, three, to 4 days after creating the ticket to get a maintenance person over to fix it. The first time, maintenance showed up he did not knock, he walked in then announced himself. Again, No respect for the renter! I called the office to let them know i had mice in my house, i bought mouse traps. The office told me to go around the house to see where they are coming in at and open a ticket. That's my job?? So, they do not want to pay for maintenance they want you to take care if it free of charge. I lived with mice until i finally had enough and broke the lease. I swore to myself DO NOT EVER RENT AGAIN! I bought my home, I could of before i rented from this management company but thought i wanted a break and live a little more ease. MCG could not give me that! I lived with mice and they did not like the idea of a not cleaned stove and the shower was not fully cleaned so they took 90 bucks from me. I bought mice traps so i could catch the mice, but i did not get reimbursed. I wish you all luck!! I have pictures!!

The only thing they're good for are opening tickets, which I can do myself on the tenant portal. The first time I tried to get emergency maintenance was when I couldn't turn off the water at the washing machine wall and I had water going everywhere. I even told them they don't have to come, just have someone call me. 8 hours later.... NOTHING, NO CALL NO SHOW!! Now, we've been without air for over 24 hours and it's HOT OUTSIDE!!! My thermostat is reading 84 degrees right now. We were offered 2 window units, when we have a 3 bedroom townhouse. What about the kitchen and living room areas?? Nobody can live like this, especially when your asthmatic mother lives with you!

Professionally responed to our request and confirmed the appointment. Step 2. Contacted by Sales Representative named Justin to introduce himself and confirm appointment. Justin showed up and in layman's terms discussed our options to address our water quality and how it would address our health needs. We moved forward by renting the system. Justin scheduled our install date. Step 3. Jordan, our installer showed up. Wow what a worker! Whoever thought a whole house water treatment system could enhance the look of a basement? Probably one of the most meticulous workers I have seen in YEARS! I remember a time when businesses counted on Customer First Service to grow. Culligan, in my opinion, showed us why, they have 90 years of customers. Thank you Justin and Jordan for being part of our experience.

We're on the 'Preferred Care' customer which is paying annually for 1x service which is over $800 at this time. I ALWAYS have to call Them to get any service as they wouldn't show up if you didn't remind them. You schedule a date, nobody calls to let you know what time they'll be out on the day, you call them...and "oh! You're not on the calendar today, but I can get you in Friday"..... And on it goes. Honestly, if someone else could cover their filters and equipment I would be looking in to it.
