I initially experienced planet fitness as a guest of my daughter for a couple of weeks. I enjoyed the facilities so much that I joined! the access to equipment that works at all times, clean restrooms and friendly staff have been my favorite thing about my home location. The staff are always moving around the gym cleaning, checking to see that all guest are doing ok and making their presence available if needed. Mrs. Brenda always greets my husband and Me as well as all guest by name which makes our experience very personable and valued! I have even enjoyed all the new gym friends I have made! when I commit to anything itself for the long run! I'm a planet fitness lifer!

They said I couldn't see it without filling out this waiver. I told them I didn't want to give them all of my personal information if I might not even sign up for a membership. I asked how they were going to use all of this information? These two girls said they don't use it. I asked, "Then why do you need it? Are you going to contact me? Are you going to sell my information?" They said no. So I asked if their company was going to contact me or sell my information, and they just looked at each other. I then said, "I don't have to fill out a liability waiver to shop at stores, get gas, eat at a restaurant, or go to a park. How dangerous is this gym that I need to complete a liability waiver filled with my personal information just to walk around and see it?" They couldn't answer that either. Then I asked which plan I would have to have in order to use my membership, if I bought one, at other TruFit locations as well as this one. It took five minutes of evasive answers before one of the girls finally gave me a direct answer that I would need to buy the most expensive plan to visit any gym location I wanted. From other reviews I have read about the classes themselves, the instructors are very good people and their classes are good, but the upkeep of the class rooms, bathrooms, and general gym equipment leaves a lot to be desired. Many reviews also state never being able to get the gym to stop charging them if they wanted to quit the program. I wouldn't know because I refused to complete their stupid "liability waiver", which should be called "Our Identity theft Business Model where You can check out, but you will never stop paying for".
