Like many people here, after my membership supposedly ended, I was still being charged months after I lost access despite being a monthly membership not annual. THREE YEARS LATER I get a collections envelope in the mail. No email was ever sent, no phone call, no warning whatsoever. Shady scam artists run this business. read more

I used to be a member. I cancelled around mid 2020 (due to Covid & job loss). In 2023 they began charging me again, though I never re-joined. As of 02/24/2024 they owe me $413 in unauthorized charges. read more

The owner or whoever manages this location has TERRIBLE customer service. Every single interaction with her has been extremely unpleasant. I messaged her letting her know the gym was out of sanitation wipes and her response to me was "I don't see how that's even possible" How about sayin, thank you, I'll look into that? They constantly have signs hanging around the gym threatening their members about charging them for every little thing. They posted a picture of someone using a bench for step ups to shame her. I would have been humiliated!! The last interaction I had with her was my email stating I'm canceling my membership. The response was NOT thank you and I hope you join again, it was "got it". I asked when my last day of access would be and when she sent me the wrong date and I asked for clarification she responded with a very snarky, condescending response. On top of all this the gym is very small, often waiting to use a machine and it's just not worth it. My suggestion to this business would be, take a class on customer service before you lose all your members. read more

Do not go here!!! Horrible gym. It's small, minimal equipment you're often waiting to use, and the management is terrible! Besides treadmills and a few racks, there is only 1 set of equipment. The lady that manages this location, and others, is incredibly entitled and rude. It is very difficult to get ahold of anyone to speak about membership and they blame you for lack of communication. So frustrating. Buy your membership online and then "visit us during our regular staffed hours to pick up your access card" and then no services on evenings or Saturdays. Some of us work a lot and need a 24 hour gym because we can't come in during your hours. Waste of my time and money. Update. Was finally able to get ahold of someone after I took time off work to do so. Turns out, she says she has tried to reach to me via phone and email. I've not gotten those, but I am very busy. Hopefully corporate can update their online system to accommodate 2023 tech. Im still canceling and will stick with Planet Fitness. read more

This gym is only ok, it's lacking a lot even just compared to other Snap Fitness locations. There's no comment box so here goes: The owners (I assume they're owners) are not friendly. They're actually pretty rude. I go every day, and if I walk in with a gym partner without scanning the card they yell at me. Not a big deal, I'll just scan in. They put up new signs almost every day threatening fines for almost everything, they're so worried that they are going to lose money that they are losing business. All the guys I workout with pretty much only go there because Muv is too packed. They took down the paper towel dispensers in the bathroom and put up a hand dryer that blows weaker than the air vents. That wouldn't be a huge issue normally but the place is almost never clean. There's a film on everything, and your hands are filthy afterwards. They don't even have hand sanitizer. I got covid and flu A here, I work from home too. Like I'm 100% sure that I got both from here... The equipment is fine, but it pretty much seems like they just send all their used stuff here. The stair stepper and one treadmill don't have working physical buttons, just on the screen, which is kind of a safety issue if there's a big red stop button that doesn't work...? 45 bucks a month is just really steep to deal with how rude they are, cleanliness, and the condition of the equipment. But if you're on the south hill and don't want to wait 10 min for a machine at Muv, I guess it's pretty much your only option. It's disappointing lately that they are spending a bunch of money installing cameras all over to try to catch people doing something wrong. But they don't spend money actually improving the facility for their customers. My advice to the owners: spend more time trying to improve the experience for your current members and stop worrying so much about kids doubling up on one membership. 99% of the members here are respectful and courteous. Stop taking things away from us that makes the experience worse just because of the 1%. This is not just me, a lot of members are irritated and looking for better options. And lastly, give us our damn paper towels back so we can wash the filth off our hands before we leave. read more

This is a small, extremely clean, very friendly gym. I have been enjoying my experience. My original intent was to do the treadmill a few days a week during the during the winter when long walks are more difficult. When Shawn introduced me to some of the other machines, I was hooked and have been going in there to work out at least three times a week. The personal trainers are wonderful. Justice has been extremely helpful when I've had a question. Natalie and Shawn have also been there when I have needed help. Thank you so much Snap Fitness. read more

Wonderful neighborhood gym. Convenient. Next door to Starbucks. Clean, pleasant environment. Great staff (love Arthur) and trainer Shawn O'Leary are particularly good with seniors like myself and keep us coming. I appreciate SNAP and am grateful it's in my neighborhood. read more

It does the job for a neighborhood gym. Not too busy, generally clean. Good magazines. It is a small location, so I'm giving them a dock on stars because there are no classes, but open 24/7 for a place to jump on the cardio machines or lift weights. Lots of TV's. Lack of support staff sometimes because the place isn't always staffed. One issue is that is it right next to Starbucks on 37th and Grand so if you want to get a cake pop instead of working out that is always a temptation. But maybe that is just me. read more

During staffed days, the gym is very clean. The location and ease of entry is fantastic and makes it easy to fit in to my schedule. Not having to battle speakers for my headphones is great, and the addition of wireless allows me to access my favorite international radio stations from my smart phone, which is awesome! read more
