In Jamestown for the 2026 Lucille Ball Comedy Festival, after checking into my hotel and unpacking…read moreeverything, I opened up my Yelp app and searched for the best spot for dinner as I wanted to eat before seeing the Saturday headliner. One of the top spots was Wicked Warren's, which happened to be across the street from my hotel. In short, this was a great experience! I walked over on a Saturday around 5pm and upon entering, I was impressed how big it was inside! Plenty of tables and chairs and a large bar in the back with plenty of TVs playing all sorts of sports. Right at the entrance was the host station where I spoke to a pleasant, young woman. Since it was just me, she offered either a table or grabbing a seat at the bar, if one was available. Luckily, there were a few empty seats at the bar so I took one and enjoyed watching the bar staff working and chatted with other patrons! The bar staff were incredibly friendly, I could sense they were genuinely happy to be there and enjoyed chatting with the folks sitting at the bar! I'll be honest, this put me ease and relaxed me even more, or maybe it was the beer... haha I'm terrible with names, but I believe the gentleman who ended up taking care of me was Patrick - He was so personable, excellent customer service! I ordered their "Raz Beret" fruited wheat beer to sip on as I figured out what to order for dinner - Delicious, as it was a wheat beer, it had a great fruit-forward flavor without being puckeringly sweet like a fruited sour beer! It was pretty busy when I sat down but I need to say, the wait times were very reasonable! For dinner, I ended up ordering their Philly Cheesesteak Panuzzo with a side of chips and a pickle. What is a panuzzo you ask? A panuzzo is a sandwich made from pizza dough that's folded over and stuffed like a sandwich. The Philly Cheesesteak Panuzzo was their own fresh bake panuzzo bread filled with shaved sirloin steak on a garlic butter base with green peppers, onions, mushrooms, and white American cheese. This was phenomenal! The panuzzo was jam-packed with steak, veggies, and cheese and was plenty hot and tasted so fresh! The garlic butter base was brushed on the panuzzo bread, which left my fingers a little greasy, but it wasn't a big deal wiping my hands off. The chips were good, nothing extraordinary, but good! The panuzzo, side of chips, and a beer were plenty for my big appetite and I was perfectly satiated! I felt the price I paid for their own, locally made beer, and the fresh, high-quality ingredients and great portions were very reasonable. I really enjoyed my dinner at Wicked Warren's! The staff, the beer, the food, all of it was great! I don't make it down to Jamestown often, but next time I passthrough, I would definitely come to Wicked Warren's for dinner.

Bartender was a one man show He did a great job although must say could have used a little help. Pizza was good but not close to hot- Saw a pepperoni pizza sitting at the corner of the bar just getting cold while bartender was running around. Staffing is so difficult now but having two managers doing pretty much nothing instead of helping... doesn't help! Decent place but need to revisit there work distribution

One by one all of us started having bad experiences and stopped going as frequently or at all. Month ago our prior experience for wing night we had an hour wait and were served ice cold soggy wings. We waited so long for refills that we all only had 2 beers each because we literally couldn't get more service was so poor. After that only 2 of us were willing to give them another try. Fast forward to today 6/24/26 the last 2 of us brave enough to risk another let down in our long list of many by Haggy's went in for 75cent wing night. It was absolutely chaos. The only person even moving around or trying to take orders not behind the bar was an older lady with curly hair. She was running around like a chicken with her head cut off. The tall skinny guy in the red hoodie was just socializing at the bar then came around and talked to people behind the bar and messed with the POS system. The only work I saw him do was get rags because the bartender in brown with a braid spilt a drink on an old man. The girl in the brown never bothered to get us drinks or take our food order. We were literally only able to place one drink order in 40 minutes with the curly haired older lady. We came in to get 30 wings and multiple beers. After over 40 minutes of waiting and sitting there with empty beer the waitress came over to get our dinner order. We were so disgusted and annoyed we cashed out only leaving change as a tip because it was ridiculous. It was wing night and we didn't even see or smell people eating wings because the waits were so long. A table of a girl and 2 guys kitty corner to us kept looking at their phones and over at the bar waiting an incredibly long time for refills too. How can you have 3 staff members working and no service for nearly an hour? Tables, menus, and floors were sticky too. This was the last nail in the coffin. They're dead to us and I no longer know a single person willing to go to Haggy's ever again.

This is THE place to see bands within an hour radius. Through the years they've consistently had the best lineups and best dance area. I'm updating my review because what was already an AMAZING place has gotten even better throughout the years. I last reviewed them in 2016 and have had 25 Yelp confirmed check ins since. I've been to Shawbucks/The Press Room AT LEAST 60 times since 2016, but I'm bad about remembering to check in on Yelp. Let's start with the amazing owner who treats bands and staff so well. He genuinely loves and takes pride in his business which shows. Bartenders hustle! Wednesday before Thanksgiving We Speak Canadian had the bars, tables, and dance floor PACKED shoulder to shoulder. Bartenders were ontop of it and wait times were very reasonable. No favoritism at all, everyone was served promptly. Even bouncers and the owner helped clear tables, the stage edge, bathrooms, and random places people leave empty drinks. This is a safe place to see bands that tolerates zero nonsense. Security are very active and present. IDs are checked and rules are enforced to maintain a safe comfortable venue. Even metal shows aren't too rowdy. Food is absolutely amazing! Best mushroom gravy meatloaf of my life. Amazing sword fish filet. Mind blowing risotto. Great wings with a great sauce selection. Solid chicken fingers/tenders. Fresh crisp salads. Great dressings. Perfectly made cocktails. Large beer selection. Friendly fast waitresses. Very clean place! No sticky bar floors, menus, or tables. I highly recommend them for food and going to see bands live! Side Note: I got teary eyed when DJ Fish's daughter got on stage to announce We Speak Canadian. RIP DJ Fish, he was such a big part of Jamestown's music scene and a wonderful man. It was cool to have him honored like that. He's missed.

The bartender was super friendly and gave us some good tips on what to do locally. She also made us some "special shots" that we really loved. She told us a little bit about the history of the place and was very welcoming towards us. Her father was "Jack" from whom they got the name of the place from. We did also order some appetizers while we were there. I ordered the pizza log which was really good. It's comparable to an egg roll but with pizza inside. Delicious! My boyfriend ordered some fries and enjoyed them as well. Good food, good drinks and good company. We had a great time here and will definitely be back.
