There's always these fun cool spots that once you come upon you're amazed at what's there. Another fun vintage shop along the fame 4th street. One store after another there's always something nice and fun. My first time here and to my surprise, it was great. Right from the start there's something for everyone. The amazing collection on vintage jeans right at the entrance. Like its own little showroom. Then you have the fun of everything else. An amazing collection of jackets and cowboy's boots. Trust me, there's plenty of them on display. It's very vintage pin up style with a lot of the stuff they carry. This was such a cool shop! We stopped by this strip of stores to explore for a bit and Sneaky Tiki was filled with hidden gems. It's the type of store you can spend hours in browsing and learning about the history of different tiki designs. We browsed for a while and it can be overwhelming, especially if you're looking for a certain size or design. It's definitely more fun (for me) when you're enjoying everything and don't necessarily have a goal item. I did find a couple shirts I thought were so cool, but weren't in my size. On top of a huge selection of various shirts, they have more authentic and vintage tiki attire that is very cool to see but will also be pricier. If you're in for a treasure hunt, or looking to find some gifts for people this is a really cool spot. read more

Amongst a lot of vintage clothing stores, Sneaky Tiki stands out to me as the best. There are always great finds....both original and reproductions. The Reproduction vintage clothes are so well done they are better than the old originals (in style and quality) and will last a long, time. Right down to the details of the buttons and fabric being perfect and many sizes available. This store is the reason I make the trip down to Long Beach!!!! read more

The good: I've never seen a store dedicated to vintage Hawaiian shirts before. This place is Hawaiian shirt utopia. They have authentic vintage tops in every color, pattern, fabric and cut. They also sell other cute Tiki-related items like Tiki cups, salt and pepper shakers, belts, ties art, statues and more. They had a rack outside for cheaper/discounted Hawaiian shirts. The store is very well organized. It would have been cute if this place was named "Boutiki.' It's Halloween season so this is a perfect spot to grab some unique pieces for a cute Hawaiian Halloween fit. The bad: Since everything vintage is pretty trendy, the prices here are a bit steep depending on the shirt you get. Their outside sale section is affordable. I came to Sneaky Tiki Boutique looking for a vintage Men's coat jacket that I needed for a costume. Although this store didn't have what I was looking for, it was fun to see all of the vintage clothes. What I loved about this place is that they have a very unique theme inspired clothes. Fun to look around and friendly employees! The store is a bit smaller than most of the other stores in the area, but that just means that they are more selective of the items that they put up for sale. I loved this place! read more

One of the many stores on 4th street to check out. This store in particular had these cute handbags that I wanted! Well maybe I just thought they were cute. I wouldn't ever be able to rock them unless I was going to a Jetsons themed party. They were space-shippy (yes I know that's not a word), had sparkles, and were in silver, gold, and teal. Oh so cute though!!! They have really cute cards, knick knacks, and cute gifts overall. How often do you find a vintage shop that only specializes in 40's 50's 60's clothing?? not very.. if you are looking for some western wear or even 50s costumes party dress go here! if you are tiki - hut fanatic go here! Super cute accessories for the rockabilly gals and pyschobilly gals . If you're not a 40's 50's 60's collector you probably dont understand why the prices are so high but i hear the owner goes out and handpicks each and every vintage items for that store. staff are friendly and helpful. they have a measuring tape if needed! read more

A LOT of the clothes are modern printed images on vintage Ts (blanks). They are basically fake vintage ts with no identifiers that would let a buyer know (unless they are versed in vintage tags etc). read more

I happened upon the Sneaky Tiki Boutique because it was adjacent to La Bomba (another disappointing Yelp find), and unfortunately, it was not much better than the aforementioned. Lots of Hawaiian shirts. Vintage clothing inside that was rather pricey. Sizes of most items looked rather large and not form-fitting. Some of the merchandise looked more like costumes than regular attire. Well, at least its store name is clever and appropriate for its offerings. Apparently this section of 4th Street is considered "retro row" -- accurate in that there are a lot of vintage wares in this store and others, but they seem to cater to artsy hipsters who might be more used to paying more than the average for fashion. read more

I've seen their custom Hollywood jackets, and modern patterns in vintage cuts for men and women, at different events. The quality of their tailored suits and denim is in a league of it's own. I am a local to Long Beach, a performer and lover of vintage. You can enjoy the fashion and other items from this boutique no matter what your background is. However, if you collect vintage or repro, you can tell it's quality and will surely stand out of a crowd with anything purchased here. read more

If I could actually wear any of the chic, vintage clothes they sell, I'd spend far too much money here. :) By far my favourite of the 'unique boutiques' on 4th St, Sneaky Tiki has the best and most attractive selection of vintage and rockabilly clothes. It's small but uncluttered, and they have a great selection of purses, belts, wallets, and various other accessories and knickety knacks to help seperate you from the crowd. They have a selection of interesting t-shirts in the centre of the store, but really it's a shop for adorable 50s dresses, 70s polyester, and a variety of kitchy, trendy, just plain *nifty* clothes. None of which my fat ass can wear. SIGH. ;-) What really sets this shop apart from the rest of the Fourth Street Gang is the friendly atmosphere (the staff actually talks to you!), lack of imposing odour, and the quality of the garments they sell. I swear, I love this store. I went in a long long time ago and always remembered how nice the girl was that worked there. I went back a couple of weeks ago and found out that the nice girl was the owner, Jennifer. She is so cool. The other girl working there was very cool as well. That store is heaven for people like me. You know, the kind that has to touch 99% of all pretty shiny things in a store. I must have spent 45 minutes looking/touching all the cool jewelry, purses, wallets, belt buckles, etc, etc.. I chose at least 10 items that I need to purchase when I get paid again. I can't wait. I love this little shop! This is the only spot I will purchase my flowers for my hair. They are fucking legit. I've noticed all of the things I have purchased here have been of good quality...wo0t. The selection of clothing here is nice and the store is organized in a clutter-free manner. EDIT: Spoke to the owner who was decidedly concerned about my review and apologized and offered a refund for the earrings. Apparently she's opening a new store, so if you can't get your fix here, you'll soon be able to get it elsewhere! I will still be coming in here next time I'm shopping 4th Street, I might just steer clear of any earrings! This place is very very expensive for their actual vintage items. If you stick to the newer stuff it's moderate, but still not reasonable. Worst of all, I bought a pair of $11 stud earrings here, which were ADORABLE, but made with cheap aluminum backs or something-- definitely not stainless steel. After one day, my lobes started itching really bad, so I took of the earrings and my earlobes were ALL red and crusty. Completely destroyed. I haven't been able to wear any other earrings for a week now. Such a bummer. Worst, I felt that the cashier was otherwise occupied most of the time... people kept coming into the shop to talk to her about business things or fitting dresses, etc. I had to wait for her to finish to be able to check out. read more

Randomly ran into this place while in LB for a modeling gig for RAW late last summer. Pretty much one of the coolest places to get pinup, rockabilly and vintage clothing, accessories, nick-knacks, etc. Staff is VERY friendly and it's pretty much impossible to not purchase something before leaving. read more

Great store. About half the items are of the rockabilly-inspired genre, but they also have a selection of unique, handmade jewelry that seems to be reasonably priced. While most of the stuff here is new, at the back of the store is a to-die-for selection of extremely high-quality vintage dresses. When I browse through these, I want every single one! They seem pricey at first blush, but when the pieces are as pristine and gorgeous as these are, premium pricing is justified! read more

This shop (part of the row of vintage/retro stores on 4th between Junipero and Cherry) has a great selection of funky hand-made jewelry, clothing, and other accessories (wallets and belts and such). The price tags are a bit high for my liking (hence the 4 stars) but everything's very unique and high-quality. Also, every time I've been in here the owners have their pitbull in the store with them--a cute, friendly, snorting little guy. They even let me in after they'd just closed once when I was on the hunt for a last-minute birthday gift. And the girl who rang me up spent about 5 minutes searching for a cute ribbon to tie on the bag so it resembled a gift bag. Great store! read more

This place specializes in vintage clothes and accessories for men and women. I've been to this store on several occasions and the service has always been great. They have many unique items. I bought my girl friend a red purse that she loves and always gets compliments on. If you are looking for a place to find a unique gift or looking for some vintage clothes in good condition Sneaky Tiki is the place to be. My advice though take the bus or a cab there.
