Now we have the same opportunity in good old Long Beach. Starday Vintage Too serves as a sweet option for those curious about vintage, about old-fashioned style, and how to reinvent it today. Yesterday I cruised in to the shop, drawn in by the window display, which is ever changing, and always super -stylish. Their usage of mannequins is both haunting and delightful. It feels as though full stories are being lived out through their mannequins and the way they have styled them. The window display says so much about how the female owner (red haired and creative, Nicole) runs her shop: dynamic, thoughtful, retro-centric, and committed to the process of artistically offering vintage goods, highly curated, at fair prices. I just love to see their latest window designs, cruise around inside, chat with the friendly staff, and check out everything from studded belts to zipper boots, wigs to leopard print overcoats... just so amazing. It's so much bigger inside and filled with epic treasures from vintage dishes to beautiful furniture pieces. They have a great outdoor section and inside, so many unique pieces to please most any thrifter or antique lover. Beautiful open, organized layout to roam around and very friendly, helpful staff. My quick "I'll just check it out," turned into an hour of thrifter heaven and a few beautiful pieces that now grace the walls and shelves of my home. Prices are fair, depending on vendor; their merchandise is good to high quality. Once you pass the front counter on your left, you feel like you're stepping into someone's living room. There's a couch, coffee table, dial television set, and the record player is blasting '70's music from their collection of vinyl. The first room on the left sells clothes, plants, etc. The second small room next to it has a large picture of KISS plastered on the walls, between the selection of boots and jackets. If you keep walking towards the back, there's a room to your right where the record player is. After exiting that room, you walk into the main room and a large selection of vinyl for sale near the back. They sell used and new merchandise. Everything from used clothes to new jewelry, paintings, artwork, and everything in between. Like I said, there's a large outdoor patio where they sell patio furniture, pots, plants and other outdoor decoration. There is really a lot to take in, and everything is affordable. I saw something I liked that cost $9.50, but I asked myself where I was going to put it. The gal at the front counter was friendly. They take Apple Pay. Online the location states that they close at 7 PM. We tried entering the store at 3:40 PM. Then she asked me what I needed, so I told her I was there for the speed X delivery because I needed to send something out. And again very rudely she told me well in order to send anything out. You have to have everything ready you need your label you need your packaging. Online it did not say that. It said that I could do everything there. I guess I can't. But she did not need to be that rude and if they close the store early, they need to say that online. Definitely will not be going back there and I would avoid that place at any cost because if she is that rude then she should not be getting anybody's money or services.

The amazing collection on vintage jeans right at the entrance. Like its own little showroom. Then you have the fun of everything else. An amazing collection of jackets and cowboy's boots. Trust me, there's plenty of them on display. It's very vintage pin up style with a lot of the stuff they carry.
