I finally…read moregot through and asked if I could make an apt. they said, no, we take walk ins, so just come in. So, I couldn't make an appointment to guarantee my spot? The front desk rep also told me that my insurance wouldn't cover the boot and it would be 250.00 cash. I called Snell orthotics, made a same day apt, and they FILED my insurance after getting approval, and my charge was 49.00! So, I think these reps at Horton's are lazy and crooks! Shame on you taking people's money!

I have no idea what she is referring to, but Snell's called ME to set up the appointment. It stands to reason, they had all necessary information before they would make an appointment. I was already in tears before walking in the door so maybe I am being emotional, but her asking me what prosthetic was there for, in front of an ENTIRE waiting room was DEVASTATING to me, considering I walked in with 2 legs and 2 arms.....even if I had not, it is RUDE to be so public about a private matter!!
