His heel looked like a ping pong ball was embedded. Surgery was imminent and it involved cutting his Achilles tendon to get to the spur. He was told he would have to lay face down for six weeks and healing was six months. As a last-ditch effort, we visited and they faced us with a nearly $4k bill for inserts. We declined and they gave us an alternate package of $1300ish. It still seemed steep, but we are almost at 2 years and he avoided surgery and is walking tall to this day. I've been icing and stretching. The most unfortunate part is that I spent $1500 looking for pain relief but only got more pain and I can't return them. I can only exchange to try others, and I'm at the point where I'm crying when I walk. I did not have plantar fasciitis before using these.
