Nice little spot for a weekday brunch - not as authentic as Chez Maryse but still decent with a lot of selection of items from croissant sandwiches to crepes to omelets. The coffee here isn't as flavorful as Chez Maryse either but I did like that there's more vegetarian options, the prices are decent, and food not too greasy. While I was too stuffed for dessert, I was told that desserts are tasty. It's not a big place so on a cold day there are very few tables inside. But it's still a decent place for brunch while exploring Downtown Clovis and just across the street from the most bomb antique shop :) read more

There are many things to order here. I ordered the Valerian crepe, strawberry Nutella crepe, and an iced latte. The ladies were fast and helpful with any questions about the food and drinks. It was busy around noon so be patient! I liked how they dropped off drinks first while waiting for the food, and one of the ladies working even asked if the latte wasn't as sweet or other issues that I shouldn't hesitate to ask :) I loved everything that I had. I have been coming here for years, but apparently I have neglected to ever write a review, and this bakery definitely deserve one. There are several French bakeries in Fresno, but this one is my favorite. The owner is actually from France and makes his treats in a back room with a window so you can watch them being made. There is a small amount of seating inside and a cute outside patio in front for nice weather. They serve breakfast, sandwiches, crepes, and of course all their bakery items, including macarons, Napoleons, beignets, morning buns, chocolate croissants, plain croissants, etc. My favorite is the morning bun with croissant goodness but shaped as a bun with cinnamon and sugar . Everything is reasonably priced, and they even have a special where you can pick 5 treats for $11.99. I was disappointed with my experience while placing an order for a cake. We were nearly finished with our order when we were asked to stop and wait because there was a line of customers behind us. The employee who was helping us was very friendly and professional, but another employee wearing a red T-shirt with a ponytail instructed her to stop assisting us and help the other customers first. I understand that businesses can get busy, but interrupting a customer who is already in the middle of placing an order felt disrespectful and frustrating. We should have been allowed to complete our order before other customers were helped. I hope management addresses this situation to ensure all customers are treated fairly and courteously. read more

My breakfast croissant was very good and filled with egg, layered ham, tomato and cheese. This comes with a side salad, which is a normal side for a Parisian breakfast. The croissant was buttery and perfectly made with flakey soft layers. My wife ordered the Croque Monsieur and she definitely won breakfast! They make it the classic way: ham and cheese sandwich on a brioche bun with bechamel sauce; that's topped with more cheese before being baked until golden brown. The seating situation is very tightly packed and can only sit about 3-4 per table. We also ordered a savory crepe which tasted great as well. I just wish there was a sauce or drizzle on it. Just this one person, made me want to walk out the door. My party and I were next in line, Nicole(the cashier, that's what it said on the receipt) called up the next person in line(us) so as we approached the front counter, she didn't even bother to give us any thought. She called out for the next person in line again and I had said yeah that's us? But still she wasn't even bothered, she directed her attention towards the couple behind us and then the couple behind us told the cashier that we were next in line.
