I really enjoyed my hot fudge sundae ($4.75). The ice cream was very good and the hot fudge was hot, syrupy, and tasty. The young employee who waited on me was polite and friendly. Everything is outside - ordering and eating. I ate at one of their picnic tables and enjoyed the nice breeze and warm temperatures. Besides ice cream they also have Italian ice, snow balls, pretzels, fries, and hotdogs (to name a few). They're only open Tuesday through Sunday, 2pm-6pm, and closed on Mondays. Snow Hut is a cute little snow cone shack tucked away in the parking lot between Home Depot and Ross. With its fun tiki-hut vibe, it's the perfect stop when you're looking for a cool treat on a hot Florida day. The star of the show is definitely the snow cones. They offer a huge variety of flavors, and the ice is freshly shaved, which gives it that light, fluffy texture that makes a great snow cone. The flavors were delicious, and it's easy to see why this place is a local favorite. We also tried the Old Bay fries. Unfortunately, they didn't quite live up to the snow cones. They seemed more like air-fried fries, and we were handed the seasoning to apply ourselves rather than having the fries seasoned and prepared when served. It wasn't necessarily bad, just not what I was expecting. That said, the snow cones alone are worth the visit. 3.5 stars for snow hut. The owner is very nice and super friendly. I wanted to try something new so ordered a chocolate covered cherry creamy snow cone with marshmallow topping. As he informed me this was an authentic "Northeast (Baltimore) style snow cone". The "creamy" snow cones are made with condensed milk so they are creamier than the regular cones. I wasn't sure about the marshmallow topping on the ice but it was actually pretty good. I'm not so sure about the chocolate flavor though. It just didn't go well with the cherry/marshmellow mix and was not something I'd get again. My son had a strawberry sno cone. There is a huge variety of regular flavors. Definitely a place that would take many, many visits to sample everything! Surprisingly he wasn't a fan. You'd think on this hot July afternoon after a day at the beach he'd gobble it down. But I ended up finishing his! Maybe it was just too sweet. The hut is very cute in its beach/Hawaiian tiki theme. There are some shaded picnic tables for eating. The line moved a little slow as the owner was the only one working. I wasn't exactly sure where the hut was- but it is in front of the Ross/Home Depot plaza. Not familiar with the area, I found this little gem on Yelp while we were craving for ice cream relief on a hot pre-summer (May) day. The place is a small shack but it has some dedicated parking spots and some cool outdoor decor and seating on the side (keep in line with the theme of a hut). Its selection of "Sno-Balls" is impressive along with variations of soft serve ice cream. A cool place to beat the heat and as the summer temps continue to rise, I imagine their line will as well, definitely worth a visit ! read more

We just picked up 6 sno cones and every single one was full of black chunks and specks of who knows what. Since every cup had a different flavor I'm thinking they do not clean their ice machine properly, it was really gross. I also pulled two gnats out of my personal cup (i dug them out of the middle so they were in the cup to start with). This place is great, it's a lot cheaper than Dairy Queen and a lot more friendly. They value their customers and don't view them as just another person they have to serve. They have a wide variety of food including hotdogs and ice cream along with their Sno cones. I'm definitely coming back! read more
