Just walk through for a memorable event. "Les" was working the bar, and was friendly and very efficient. He took my order and in no time flat I was enjoying an excellent coffee called the "Dalgona". This is A Korean whipped coffee drink made by whipping together double shots of espresso and sweet cream and adding to the top of vanilla sweetened milk. It was delicious!! Coffee options include Espresso & Lattes, Specialty Lattes, Craft Brewed Coffee - including French Press, Pour Overs, and Frappes. There are several Tea options as well including matcha, green, chai, Yerba Mate, and Black (to name a few). This is a really cool place with exceptional drinks! I highly recommend you check them out and support locally owned businesses.

There should be a Speaksy Café on every corner in the U.S., or at least one closer to my house . We visited a few months ago while passing through on a trip, and honestly, we didn't want to leave. If you're ever in Cocoa Beach, do yourself a favor and visit this beautiful and amazing café. You'll love it!

I'm picky about where I have breakfast because when it's local it's often a regular old diner with…read morethe same dishes as other places. Merritt Island Pancake House is different from a typical diner. Even though at first this looks like a low-brow diner, the special touches say a lot. They keep with the islands theme in the decor, dishes, etc. There is a whole wall with colorings from children who have dined here. There yummy dishes with lots of gluten-free options (I had GF lemon blueberry pancakes that were great). Something that impresses me is their fruit choice--blueberries, blackberries, strawberries--instead of the typical cheaper fruits. I was really glad with the eggs because they even taste better (creamier) than a typical diner egg (like possibly cage free brown). Maddie was my server and she was sweet, easygoing, and good with the menu. I'd like to bring my girls here and was glad I tried it.

Mixed review: Generally a 5-star experience. SERVER: Today,…read moreAlex, our server, was excellent. Super service. Plus, he was personable & friendly. Attentive. Professional. I asked for some lemons in my water "to kill the taste of Cocoa city water from the mainland". And Alex brought a cup full. Just enough to do the trick. He understood. FOOD: The food was great, as usual, except for the burnt sausage bits in the gravy. That was unusual and disappointing, but we were so hungry we ate it. Eggs were perfectly cooked as ordered, and pancakes were excellent (the best of any restaurant pancake anywhere) Sorry, Mom. ATMOSPHERE: Generally, the decor is plain. American flags, Firefighter logos, etc. Some art (attached) OPERATION: BUT today, Father's Day, they must have been short-staffed. The restaurant was about 25% full, lots and lots of empty tables, many tables covered with dirty dishes. Servers were moving quickly with one female server ambling about as if they were closed and hoping everyone else would do whatever needs to be done. It was 25 minutes until we were seated. Then, Alex was great. Then, we waited for our food. The entire restaurant was filled with the strong smell of burnt food. Real bad. Over one hour later, our food arrived. It was hot and, by then, we were extra hungry. We had a great time talking and sharing stories as the time passed. Usually, there is a line outside and all the many benches inside and out are full of people. So, you expect to wait, but today there were very few people. About 4 groups ahead of us. I do recommend you give them a try as the food is usually great.
