Over priced considering the quality. I ordered cherry/wedding cake and it literally tasted like just sweet. The cherry tasted mildly like cherry. One of the few places in BR where you can get a snowball! It is obviously not as famous and iconic as some snowball stands in the infamous city known as the Big Easy but it is decent. They do charge additional if you get the cream flavors or if you want more than one flavor. I believe it was 50 cents extra for cream flavors and 25 cents extra for each additional flavor. I got a small half chocolate and cherry while my girlfriend got half polar punch and tutti frutti. Prices are average. I am not sure if they are cash only or not but they do have an ATM available to the left of the snowball stand. In addition to snowballs, they serve Dippin Dots, soft serve ice cream, nachos, and hot dogs. I like how it is not too far from LSU so it is convenient for us college students. read more

These snowballs are delicious. The ice is very soft! I would normally drive to Hansens in New Orleans because nothing local compared. However, once I discovered Sno Mans I was highly satisfied. On my last visit I added fresh strawberries and cream and it was amazing! I have found my new sno ball stand! Also, they have multiple locations. First, the snoballs are great. They don't skimp on the flavored syrup and the prices are good. The service, however, is atrocious. I have a suggestion for them if they are reading...maybe if you stopped talking about everything in the world you would get the line moving a little faster...which would be great given there is no awning or fan or anything for the heat. These are the best snoballs in Batkn Rouge. Perfectly shaved ice, tons of flavor options, and quick service (even when there is a line). They even have clear versions of some of the popular flavors (great for little kids!). Concession stand type snacks and dipping dots are also available, but I have not tried them. My only knock against them is that even though they use an iPad and the square system to take orders, they still only accept cash. If they took cards I would be there more often, I hardly carry cash. read more

Used to come here everyday when I lived in BR almost 6 years ago by LSU's campus. Freaking awesome. They have a huge selection of flavors, including several cream flavors. They have a wide sugar-free selection as well. The prices are very reasonable. A small, which is 12 oz is $1.75. You can add condensed milk, stuff with marshmallow or ice cream for 50 cent more. My favorite flavors are the ice cream, banana, or snoman creams, strawberry shortcake or strawberry cheesecake add condensed milk. The flavors are distinct; they use the good syrups and are not stingy with the syrup. As long as they are operating I will always be a loyal patron when ever I am in BR and they are open for business. As someone mentioned before, cash only. One of the only draw backs. read more

I've never been to a stand that makes you wait to order to then get in a different line to wait in to pick up. They charge extra for every little thing that most other places don't. This place was by far the best snowball stand in town! The pink lemonade I got was soo good and juicy. The ice just melts right on your tongue as well! The only issue I had was with how sharp the spoons were! They were so sharp you have to be careful with little ones, me and my boyfriend actually got a little cut on our lip from them!
