    Snowballs

Small food stall with quick service usually just one or two people working the stand. They have so many flavors to choose from, as well as some sugar free options. They do also serve ice cream for $6; cone or cup. For snow balls small is $3 and medium is $3.50, and so on for large, ex large. My favorite part of my trips to Hollywood beach, quick snowball on the way back to the crib. They also have some picnic benches if you wanna enjoy at the location, they also have other food trucks in the lot.

This place is amazing. We have been coming here with the kids for about 12 years. They are moving soon so we will have to find their new location. The tiger's blood with sour apple is my favorite. You can add condensed milk and ice cream if you want. Great way to cool off in the summer. The service is so good. The owner is super friendly and always gives a great amount of flavor in the snow cones..

It is impressive how long this place has been opened and has stayed consistent since the first time I've had it over 10 years ago. The only change has been more flavors added. They just have great snow cones. Great flaky light ice. The flavors are what as described. They let you choose up to 3 different flavors at no extra charge. The serving sizes are super generous especially for $5 or less. The lady working is so kind despite being by herself serving the huge line formed. Perfect place to hit up in south Florida, especially after the beach or any outdoor activity.

This was my first time here it's like a hidden gem. With a few places around it it's in a huge parking lot a cute little spot. They have over 50 flavors. And you can mix the flavors also they have 5 different sizes. And they even have. A Huge size I stuck with a small and it was so filling I got cherry. On the safe side it was soo good. You can also sample as many flavors as you want the guy who worked behind was super nice and helpful. I will come back here for more flavor choices

I have been going to Snoballs for over a decade because of the delicious flavors, low prices, and how amazing it tastes after a long day at the beach. My friend and I went the other night and had the loveliest time chatting with Sherie. She was incredibly patient when we were indecisive about which flavor to choose and recommended many that I would've never taken a second look at. My go to is always tigers blood with condensed milk but I tried a mix of spearmint and chocolate with condensed milk on her suggestion-- SO good. Thank you Sherie and thank you Snoballs for being the best shaved ice in south Florida! Happy to keep supporting a local mom & pop business :)

I've been coming here a few years now and I can't believe I'm just writing a review. Its located in a mini market-ish type lot area directly in the back with a big "Snoball sign". This is a great place for an icy treat and the the prices are cheap for different sizes. Great place to bring the kids also. The ice in the sno balls is soft and they have so many different flavors! The woman that works here is super nice and always lets me sample flavors I'm unsure of. I've been coming here for years and I'll never stop.

First tried this on a rainy wet day. It was great and my goddaughter enjoyed it. Came back on a sunny day and stayed in the car too long and the line grew. My baddd. The lady making the shaved was very nice and I've yet to get the ride people I read about in other post. She helped me figure what would be a good flavor mix for the baby and apologetic about the wait. For nice cooling treat on a hot day, this is it. The prices are reasonable and worth the visit. On hot days and evenings this can't be beat

While I was in the neighborhood getting some gas, I saw this big sign saying "Snoballs". Since it was extremely hot outside today, I had to go by there to see what I could get to beat this heat. When I walked up, I was greeted with such a warm smile and personality from the lady working inside the booth. I was very intrigued by the menu due to the plethora of flavors I could choose from, so I ordered 2 Snoballs. I ordered the jumbo piña colada with condensed milk, and another jumbo with sugar-free blue raspberry and sugar free tigers blood flavor. OMG these were amazing! My favorite was the piña colada with condensed milk; it was the perfect sweet cool treat. I could taste the pineapple and coconut flavor from the piña colada, and it paired very well with the creamy condensed milk. Since this place is not too far for me, I would definitely become a regular here, especially during these hot summer weeks.

I LOVE IT!!! This place is so cute and amazing! I came here after the beach. Which is like 10-15 minutes away or less (depending on traffic). It was a great place to cool down after being at the beach for a couple hours. I bought a medium sized tiger's blood. It was really good! I recommend you try this flavor. Also, if you check in, you get $0.50 off!

This snowball stand is great! They have another location by Dania beach as well. I've been going here since I was a little girl and the flavors are always on point. Staff is friendly and very honest. They put a decent amount of Syrup on the snow cone and have a nice seating area

This one was a medium cherry with condensed milk!

Finally stopped and tried this place for shaved ice! This is the best shaved ice everrrr! They even have condensed milk! Loved the flavors! Tons of flavors to choose from. Very generous servings and prices!! Will be coming here wayyyy more often!!

It's a nice little spot to get some really good shaved ice and juice!! They have a lot of flavors to choose from and they taste really really good. Prices are also decent. My only complaint would be is that they're a little cheap on the juice. There's a lot of ice but not enough juice. I've been here about 3 times so far and there's never been a line or a long wait.

The flavors were sweet and refreshing, and the place was clean. A few flavors were sold out, but overall still a good experience.

Both were so good and catered to different palates. I really loved the earl grey one because it came with lychee jelly which was an expected but pleasant surprise. The mango strawberry is a classic and it did not disappoint. The inside was clean and the staff was super nice. They also had cakes here and some specialty Asian desserts. Tried several samples until I saw they had a Dubai chocolate sundae, in which I ended up getting and it was pretty good. At my second visit, I came on a weekday afternoon and it wasn't so busy, there were 3 people behind the counter, but only 1 actually working. The other 2 didn't acknowledge me or even say "Thanks for your patience, she'll be with you shortly." But I understand it may be lack of customer service skills. When I was their age, I didn't really talk unless I was talked to lol. Turns out the other two kids were working behind the scenes preparing ice creams to film for social media. Also, they didn't have the sticky mango shake they were marketing on socials, so I'm going to assume it's only available on the weekends because the main girl working on our ice cream orders said she's working on that bad currently for tomorrow (Saturday). She didn't specify if it's only a weekend special. So I'm omitting a star for lack of communication, but the rest of the stars remain for yummy ice cream! This time, I got guava cheesecake and white macadamia -- a great combo! All in all, I'll still keep coming back to try their unique flavors. Maybe next time I'll get the 21+ flavors! FYI, it's a quaint, small place with limited parking in the plaza. If you go with friends, I recommend carpooling! And if you have a big family coming on the weekend, it's not a guarantee to get a table, nor is it a cute plaza to walk around with ice cream at hand. It truly is a grab and go situation with minimal seating.

Back in a small retail area near SE 17th Street, this restaurant apparently opened in late 2019 and then had to close because of the pandemic. But it returned and now offers homemade food with terrific service. The place is small, seating about 30 in an at-home-at-the-dining-table style. Our server, who I think was an owner, was very friendly and even helped us choose a dish. We had to have lumpia, because it was one of the first Filipino foods we ever tried (decades ago). Although these were good, my friends' (shoutout to Analisa and Belinda) native eggrolls were much better. For our main entrees we had the adobosilog and the tapsilog. The adobo dish came with white rice topped with a fried egg, some shaved carrots, a couple of slices of cucumber and tomato. The adobo, though a tad salty, had a delicious soy-vinegar flavor and brought me back to the dish my pal Joe made for us a couple of times. The tapsilog was shaved beef that came with the same accompaniments but it was so salty that I had to mention it when the lady asked me how things tasted. She went and told the chef. (I did not complain about the adobo.) And he insisted that the price of the meal be removed from our bill. Ummm. OK. We splurged on dessert and shared the last piece of Ube (purple yam) cake (bought from an outside vendor) and a halo-halo. The cake was smooth and not too sweet. The halo-halo was shaved ice with ice cream, milk, and a variety of ingredients including beans, corn, and plain gelatin cubes. You have to mix it all up to get a good flavor. Hubby did not care for it because it was not sweet enough (yet he refused to add some condensed milk). It was my favorite dish of the entire meal. (I love cold, creamy, not-so-sweet desserts.) The portions don't match the price. While you get a humungous mound of rice, the meat is skimpy and entrees average about $20 each. And like most small places, there is a surcharge if you use a credit card instead of cash. Even with one meal removed, our bill was about $55 and would have been closer to $80. We do plan to go back and try some other dishes. Let's hope the salt content has lessened. (Remember chef: you can add salt but you can't remove it.)
