My 3 yr old mini Australian Labradoodle has been going to Muddy Paws since he was a puppy & has seemed comfortable there since day one. He walked right in on his first visit & has been comfortable/happy at each appointment ever since and for most visits they have done an excellent job. With the hot weather recently, the last grooming they cut his curly fur much shorter than I expected & several people laughed when they saw him. But haven't found a better groomer so will keep taking him to Muddy Paws...after all, fur grows back. read more

Have been having my dogs groomed at muddy paws for over 10 years. They do a great job and my dogs love going there.

Have been going here for over 10 years and always very pleased with the results. My dogs have been long-haired -- a cockapoo, a Maltese mix, and others. The staff are busy and usually not very chatty but this is a great place for grooming and I have never had any reservations about going back here. read more

Took my dog there today. Not my first time. Was shamed by the owner Brian while dropping my dog off. My dog was at the kennel for 2 weeks while on vacation. Couldn't brush while I was away. Came back to pick and was shamed again by owner while my dog was still on the table. He used my dog to make a point.... Might be a great place but the owner is a shamer... Looks like this shop has either 1 star or 5 stars. I give them a 1, and I didn't even use the service. Here's why: walked in and told the nice young woman I had stopped because of their sign, and asked had they ever groomed a Bedlington Terrier. She turned to ask the older woman behind her grooming a poodle if she had this experience, who didn't even look up; said (as though it was a ridiculous request), "Not in my 35 years of grooming!" I dismissed that and asked the young woman if I brought my dog in after an already-scheduled-elsewhere grooming, could they follow the cut? Young woman asked witch. Again, didn't look up, absolutely nasty--"I guess so." I looked at the young woman and then at the witch. "Well, you're friendly!" I said. Thanked the young woman and left. Talk about DRIVING POTENTIAL CLIENTS AWAY. Does the witch hate her job or does she just hate people? Who knows. read more

Horrible place owners we're rude was not happy about the cut very chop shop I let them know and they did not offer to fix made the mistake of paying them first without seeing them they told me my puppies disrupted the other dogs well they are puppies and basically told me not to come back I gather from others they are very discriminatory they pick and choose who they want no big dogs ect I hope you have the perfect dog or they will turn you away read more

Muddy Paws is by far the best grooming service for poodles in this area. They know exactly how to cut for show standards. The shampoo and conditioner they use leaves the coat so clean and soft. Don't waste your time with any other groomer. BTW, I have been taking my mini-poodle to Muddy Paws for nine years. Thank you Muddy Paws for the skill you display. read more

Used this salon for over five years then moved to Florida. Returned back to the area and started back up- excited as they always did a great job! Inadvertently missed an appointment while going back and forth moving etc. Called to schedule and was told rudely " they were pulling my card" since I missed an appointment and did not call. No longer a client! Very disappointed - not interested in an explanation or the fact that it was the first time.... it was NOT intentional. One strike you're out seems to be a harsh rule for loyal clients. It's a shame because we loved using them. read more

The staff was not friendly and was very unkind when we needed to reschedule. Based on the need to reschedule they let me know they would no longer want us as a client. Scheduling was difficult but they did a nice job grooming our dog. read more

Have been taking our dog here for almost 6 years. Was always a little put off by the smell and some of the employee's not so friendly attitudes, but they usually warmed up a bit if I was extra friendly during our interactions. The grooming service has always been acceptable. Today I mistakenly missed our appointment and called an hour and a half later to apologize and see if I could make another. I was told that no I could not make another appointment, and that I should "move on to another salon". Should have trusted our dog about these people, he loves everyone including the vet but he would start to shake with fear as soon as we pulled into this parking lot. read more

No stars. This is the worst place you could ever take your dogs to get their hair cut. They turned my cute and shaggy dog into a shaved little rat. If there was ever something I was protective of it Is my dogs and you couldn't pay me to send my dogs to that horrific place. I will never make a reccomendations for muddy paws. I have never been more discontent in a doggie salon. Instead of doing what their payed to do which their payed to do which is brush and groom the dogs, they shave the dogs so that their workload is less. Again anyone who is contemplating sendig their dogs to muddy paws, think twice before your dogs come back looking completely horrible. read more

What nice people!! Susan and April at Muddy Paws are so kind to our grooming-averse little mutt! We have been taking her there since Muddy Paws first opened several years ago. Susan does a terrific job! Our dog has skin allergies, gets hot spots and creates real problems for herself biting and licking these itchy areas. Susan is presented with this matted itchy mess about every 5 weeks, and gives her back to us transformed and happier. Most of all, we appreciate their kindness and good overall care! read more

I called 3 times over the course of a week and left messages trying to set up a time to get my dog groomed. No one called me back. The 4th time I called the man that answered the phone apologized but basically threw the blame off on someone else for not returning my calls. Their service looks really great online but if you can't even get an appointment or a phone call returned it makes me question their overall dedication to their business. read more

Love Muddy Paws! Susan always make my little ones look fantastic...not so easy when you have a one eyed tzu who hates to have his face messed with and lots of rescue dogs that are not used to being groomed. Not only is she talented but she really connects with animals and they respond well to her. Our one dog was terrified of everyone to the point of being a biter. I warned Susan and she said, "well let's see what we can do". Three hours later I walk in the door and Teddy is snuggled in her arms. That day he turned a corner and I credit Susan...he now is the happiest, snuggliest little guy. read more

We have been taking our dog, a schnauzer-poodle mix to Muddy Paws for most of her life. She is 18 now, and getting frail, but I could not be more confident in the gentle care she receives from Susan. Because our girl has skin problems, Susan uses special anti-itch shampoo on her, and she has on many occasions brought to my attention issues of potential concern to discuss with our vet, such as lumps or sores. The staff members are friendly, professional and give back to the community by supporting animal rescue groups. I don't understand what happened with the dog owner who posted a negative review- maybe miscommunication there. Susan always asks me what kind of cut and style I want, and no matter how scruffy she looks when I bring her in, she always comes home looking beautiful. read more

Shredded toenails, tail not brushed or trimmed, ears trimmed incorrectly and uneven, one ear not cleaned at all, and so much static electricity that we were getting shocked 5 days later when I sprayed some moisturizing conditioner on her. Top it off with the least friendly people I've ever met, most especially the owner, and you have Muddy Paws. I would never recommend this shop to anyone. read more
