Pretty outstanding. Lots of clean family fun. Kid birthday parties. Clean. Quality place.

This is a large indoor aquatic center. It's basically your community indoor pool on steroids. It has a large lap pool, but also a sizable kids play area, and even has a small Florider machine. The Florider sessions last one hour and are reasonably priced. This is a pretty unique facility for the area. Mostly fun for kids, but adults can partake in the lap swimming, and the Florider machine. Check schedules online and make reservations in advance to plan your visit.

    Typical.

This pool gave both me and the person I am a caregiver for, a severe rash, called swimmers itch, immediately after exiting the pool, verified by a Doctor! The water is not properly treated! Beware! The staff is very rude and made my client and myself feel very uncomfortable! Also we never felt welcomed! I had our towels and clean clothes in our swimming bags and manager several times, asked us if we were 'moving in' to their facility? Crazy ! The bathrooms are filthy ! People also eat popcorn at the hot tub, allowed by the lifeguards, and dismissed my concern! An unbelievable but true story! A very sad place! The hours for the River walk are bad, when they cut hours and raising prices for people who need it medically! I would tell anyone to stay away from this facility!

Wow! Snohomish should be proud, and residents should be delighted to have this top notch facility. Not many like this around. Other school districts could take some notes.

Competition pool. For lap swim not play

Nice facility however, not large enough to handle the demand. Went today and it had already reached full capacity. A few car loads of people m, including myself, were turned away. More cars were driving in. This was on a Thursday at 1:30 in the afternoon. Frustrating. Snohomish county needs more pools!!!!

Ask the Community - Snohomish Aquatic Center

Is this a salt water pool? Or is it chlorinated? It seems highly "salty" and irritable to my eyes (more so than other indoor pools). Just curious!

    It's salt water

Where is the hot tub? Is it in the same area as the pool, or in a separate place (like some gyms have it in the locker room)?

Hi Cassie. The hot tub is in the open area by the Rec Pool, Flow Rider, etc.

    Did this place have Wi-Fi?

Yes! It's posted on the wall I believe.

She checked in with us following the first lesson to make sure that we were happy.

We have been coming to this facility for five months (8yo & 14yo) and have seen very little progress. 1. Low Value and Inexperienced Staff: Paying $150 per month for short 15-minute lessons is far too expensive for the quality of service provided. The instructors do not appear experienced, and the short duration is simply not enough time for real skill development. 2. Constant Instructor Turnover Disrupts Learning: We experience frequent instructor changes, sometimes on a weekly basis. Because of this high turnover, the children struggle to get comfortable and have a difficult time adjusting to different teaching styles. This constant switching causes children to struggle with basic instructions and slows down their learning pace immensely. It feels like focus is on cycling through as many students as possible, rather than focusing on actual student progress and ensuring the kids get enough quality instruction. 3. Dismissive Management: My interactions with Daniel, the owner, were the most disappointing part of our overall experience. When I approached him for a conversation, his demeanor was dismissive and disrespectful. Instead of listening to a customer, he used his authority as the owner to shut down the dialogue entirely.

None of that re-enrolling after 10 weeks (or however long other swim programs are) and writing down 3 time slot choices (hoping to get your #1 choice). - group session is maximum of 3 swimmers! - consistent teachers. My daughter had teacher John for almost 2 years before seeing a different teacher. - program director is very receptive of comments. Example: one new teacher talked a lot in the beginning to the point the kids were no longer listening. Explained the situation to the program director and the following week, there was improvement. Short instructions, kids listened well, and ample swim time. My daughter would've stayed with Orca if it weren't for the fact that she wanted to join a swim team and needed that next-level program to improve her endurance and skill set. I always recommend first time swimmers to check out Orca.

Some standing up. So better be on time and make a line if this happens. This year was different. We got tickets but there was just another family. Maybe because we got there at midday. Beach was crowded. We had to walk just a little bit to get a spot and set everything. People come and go with every ferry so there's always space. Just a dew benches but everyone wants to be at the beach near the dry sand. Water will come later on, but the rest is wet. You have to walk for a few minutes to get to the water. It is pretty shallow. This year we had to run because it was shrimp season and they make sand unstable. At first everyone wants to dodge algae, but you end up stepping on it. Getting into the water was the same. It felt like quicksand. It didn't feel quite relaxing. 10 years ago it we would stay for hours in water. Kids would play easily. We'll, at least animals hace set a home! Jetty is a small island just a quarter of mile from Port of Everett. But i don't think you will be able to swim with all your stuff back and forth after a day there :D You ca always kayak if there's no more room in the Ferry. By the way, it is a small passengers only. Strollers won't move on sand so leave it in your car. Do bring everything you need like water, towels, a tent that can resist wind (it gets pretty windy and can blow umbrellas), etc. If you bring food, take all you garbage with you. Don't leave anything. I saw some kids stuff laying there waiting for the water to come over and take it to the sea. So sad. I carried most of it because there are no garbage bins in sight. Also, there is just one floating restroom. It tends to smell. Take it into consideration when drinking lots of water. We usually go to the one in the parking lot first and when coming back. It is very clean. Lots of stalls. Parking lot is big if you extend it to the grass area. There is always someone checking you paid for it.
