If I could give a 0 star, I would give zero. The owner of this branch has no understanding of customer service and has most interesting policy. If you are changing the schedule of the class, you get penalized and have to pay extra for one week and that's their POLICY and it is what it is!! Get an absent the best you can do BUT their POLICY does not allow that they give your money back!!! SUPER Interesting policy: start date is the moment you click on the computer; no choice on that. I Was happy to find a swim school that seemed affordable. It's $35 for 15 Minute lessons. They are organized and get the kids in quickly. However they rent a pool at a Condo, so my daughter has never been able to practice swimming in the deep end. My goal was to get her comfortable enough to swim in the deep end, 7Cs is working with us on options. read more

I'm so sad to write this review because we started out so good with 7C's! I love Adam and he is an amazing instructor! But there have been a few problems with other staff that weren't handled the way they should've been. First of all, 7C's is supposed to notify you if your normal swim instructor is not going to be there that day and there have been countless times where there was a sub and I was never notified. Doesn't matter so much in the long run, but still annoying. Another thing, the lessons are only 15 minutes long and it is sorta difficult to get into 7C's. So they STRESS that you should always be on time because it's so short. Well today, we had a sub (never notified in advance) and she not only started 4 minutes late but was just sitting there talking to another instructor and had to be reminded by another employee. 4 minutes doesn't seem a lot, but when the whole lesson is only 15 minutes it's not okay. UPDATE- Thankfully we are leaving 7Cs. Although we switched instructors we have still had bad experiences here. They have a lack of communication between staff and customers and we are not seeing signs of progress. read more

We have loved our swim instructors at 7 C's but unfortunately continue to have negative interactions with the owner. My son was not making any progress in his swim skills for 6+ months and I asked for some changes in approach to be made. Daniel promised to have his pool deck supervisor observe my son at his next lesson, but when we arrived, it was apparent she had not been communicated with regarding her need to observe and assess his swimming. Daniel never followed up with me as he stated he would. He has also been inflexible and unprofessional in his communication with us. I am unimpressed with his customer service and would expect kindness and greater understanding from a family-run business, particularly when it comes to situations where COVID is at play. 7c's is fantastic! My five year old spent two years in YMCA and Gold's Gym's group lessons and the only thing he learned was how to play in the water. We finally decided to bite the bullet and pay for private classes rather than do another year of that. I sure wish we had done it sooner! In five weeks of lessons, he's now comfortably swimming and has made amazing progress. The pool is great, the before/after lesson playtime is fun and Daniel is a fabulous instructor. I was amazed at how much work he packed into a 15 minute lesson and he's patient, but still pushes my kid to learn and try new things. A bit more expensive than group lessons, but when you consider how much more they learn, it's totally worth it! read more

Four stars for the instructors, they are all very friendly and nice to the students. I gave two stars because the administration is very messy, they are not very responsive especially when you are trying to find out any gap/misunderstanding the number of make ups. One of the owners, Daniel, was very rude, I called trying to find out and explain there are some misunderstanding in the number of makeup classes that I signed up for my daughter, then he started to loose his temper and yelling on the phone. My daughter took swimming lessons for over a year. She still doesn't know how to swim. Every time she would make progress, the teacher would change the style of swimming. I feel this was made on purpose, so we would continue to take classes. Our purpose was for her to learn how to swim. After one year of one on one classes, this didn't happen. I emailed the owner with my concerns, but he never got back to me on this matter, even he is always responsive, and he seems nice. Now I am looking to find another school where hopefully we will have more luck. I chose the school by looking at the good reviews. Unfortunately, this was a big disappointment. My 5.5 and 3.5 year olds are a month in to lessons with 7 C's. I can't say enough good things-- my 5 year old had some anxiety about being in the water, and her teacher Ashley is so patient with her, not pushing her or making her scared, but at the same time encouraging her to be brave and try new things. That's so huge for me as a mom! And my 3.5 year old boy loves swimming with Kenny. I can tell they're learning new things after just a month, coming in with no prior swim skills. I'd say this school is totally worth it if you are looking for a way to teach your kids to swim! read more

We love 7 C's swim school! I can't say enough about our kids' teachers Daniel and Courtney (also the owners). My kids LOVE them and they are fantastic teachers who are caring, fun and beyond competent. I feel they both excel in providing lessons that truly teach and push the kids to learn in a fun and caring way. We have taken lessons a total of three other places and none compare to this school. My kids have both learned so much. I really value their emphasis on water safety; teaching the kids survival skills before they are competent swimmers. 5+ stars! read more

We had our son taking lessons at a local public swimming pool for a year. The many instructors kept holding him back for various reasons. It was a class of 6 boy who were only interested in splashing, and there was very little 1 on 1 time. What a refreshing difference at 7 C's!! We did the private lessons, and by the end of his first 15min lesson, he was floating. They also teach and test him on real life situations (you fall in the water, show me what you will do to save yourself). It's a little pricier, but so worth it. My middle son is water shy and 7cs has really helped warm him up to the activity. He's gone from not wanting to get in to playing, kicking, blowing bubbles, dipping his ears in the water and floating after a few lessons. I appreciate how shallow the pool is (2' to 4') and the water warmth. There is a kiddie area for toddler non-swimming siblings to use. Their website is really cumbersome however, so I knocked a star for that. Recurring classes, cancellations and makeup ms are booked online, so the annoying website has to be used occasionally. They taught me how to swim against ocean currents in case I'm ever in a boat that capsized is I am very thankful. The instructors were very knowledgeable and very patient and always answered my questions. My 3 year old son started swim lessons with 7 C's three months ago and I cannot believe the progress he has made with only one 15 minute lesson a week. I signed him up because I could not imagine putting him in a group lesson where he would have to sit poolside and wait for his turn with the instructor. He loves the 1-on-1 attention he gets with the 7 C's program. The instructors are really great with kids of all ages, and have had no problems coaxing my shy guy into the water every week. Each lesson is tailored to fit your child's swim level since it is a 1:1 ratio of student/teacher. Also, I love that my children can play in the pool before or after their swim lesson... The pool is shallow enough that you can watch from the sidelines as they play. Also, their makeup policy is much better than many other programs. I highly recommend 7cs! read more

Thank you to 7C's and Coach Emma! My almost 5 year old son used to be a total fish in the water when we started swim classes with him at just 6 months old. Due to family schedule changes we had to stop swimming when he was around 2. Once our schedules changed back to normal, we tried multiple swim lessons, but nothing seemed to make my son so comfortable again. Either he spent way too much time waiting for other kids to take their turn or he got bored and started to splash. And he refused to put his face in the water when before he used to dive for toys. Now, after working with Coach Emma at 7Cs for just a couple of months, my fish is BACK! He loves to go to lessons, wants to dive again, shows me his "tricks", and is so comfortable again. Admittedly, my son is a little stubborn, but Emma works so well with him. I love her approach and he totally responds to her. I like the facilities at the school too. The locker room is nicely maintained and it's easy to handle both my kids there. The pool is kept at a warmer temperature and both my kids like to play before and after their lessons. read more

I'm the parent of a cautious kid who is a little "iffy" about water. We struck out at another establishment after a teacher pulled him, crying, into deep water and let go. He swore off water at that point, and then we found 7C's. After a few lessons with Courtney, it was clear that her warm & encouraging approach at helping my kid accomplish the first "C" of the seven C's -- comfort in water -- was just what he needed. He is thriving in this environment. The facilities are great, all the kids really enjoy themselves, and each lesson includes 20 minutes of play time in the water before or after their lesson, so he gets free play in addition to expert instruction. We love this swim school. My 5 year old son started lessons here after being frustrated with group lessons elsewhere. He was really close to swimming on his own but couldn't quite get there. About 4 lessons with TJ and he had made so much progress. We originally thought we would only pay for lessons until he could swim on his own but now we plan to continue indefinitely. The teachers here are extremely professional and wonderful with kids. We will be starting my second child in lessons here once he turns 3. Well worth the money for private lessons!! read more

We love 7Cs! My 5 year old has been swimming here for over a year and we are planning to enroll our younger son next fall. We had taken lessons elsewhere and although fine, when we switched to 7Cs my son's swimming improved so quickly! I was skeptical at first about the 15 minute lessons but since it is one-on-one the kids benefit from the individual attention and they are swimming the entire lesson. At other places the lessons would be longer but the kids sat on the edge waiting for their turn a lot. After the lesson the kids are encouraged to play in the shallow end of the pool and parents can get in with them. This is such a great idea and I honestly think the time my son spends playing is just as important as the time spent with the instructor. Our instructor Kat is amazing and a perfect fit for our son's personality. From what I've seen, I would be happy and comfortable with any of the instructors as they have been welcoming and great with their students. The communication with families is wonderful and the opportunity to make up missed lessons is appreciated. 7Cs goes above and beyond and my family highly recommends them! read more

They literally saved my sons life. My 4 yr old son has been taking lessons with 7c's since he was about 21 months old. He is a little fish and LOVES any time he gets in water. Last winter (when he was 3) he was helping gma clean up the flower beds around her in-ground outdoor pool and when her back was turned he fell head first into the ice cold water while reaching for a leaf. Within seconds (while fully clothed and in rubber boots) he brought himself to the surface, floated on his back and checked to see how close the edge of the pool was. When he saw the edge was close he flipped over and swam to the edge and held on until gma could lift him out. He was freezing cold and scared BUT he was alive and once he got into some warm clothes he was completely fine! We are SO thankful for all 7c's and his teacher Emma has done to build not only his swimming skills but his confidence to believe he could take action to get to safety in a scary situation. read more

Adults, this is not the place for you. I was initially excited to find 7C's. After poring over the website, I was relieve to find a place with private one on one lessons, since I'm an adult who has no swimming skills. I talked to the owner on the phone and explained my fears. My first lesson was schedule for noon on a Saturday. I arrived at the pool which is in a school. The entrance & parking are well signed. I noticed the pool was very loud & full, so I assumed there was an open swim going on that would end by the time my lesson started. As my lesson drew closer it was obvious things weren't clearing out so I contacted the owner, to discover that the lessons are not truly private and one one one. There are 7 students in the pool with 7 instructors, so the lessons are individual. Also, the pool deck is lined with parents, siblings, and other students. I was petrified. I never left the locker room and asked that all my lessons be cancelled and refunded, which was done without complaint. However, I am leaving this review so no other adult makes the mistake that I did. Apparently private one on one means individual, not you & your instructor are the only people in the pool & pool area during your lesson. There is no way I would have felt comfortable in that environment - I was old enough to be the other students' mother, plus there was an audience of other people my age. Furthermore, there was no place in the pool with calm water & it was loud and chaotic. Not a good learning environment. I was also expected to just walk into the pool and ask for my instructor, again, an uncomfortable situation. I strongly suggest the website gets updated to prevent other adults from being mortified as I was. This situation may be okay for kids, but it is not for adults. The only place I've found so far with totally private lessons is the ProClub in Bellevue. read more

7 C's Swim School is FANTASTIC. My daughter is a pretty shy person who takes quite a bit of time warming up to new people and often new things. Each time we have encountered a new situation at swimming lessons (whether it was wearing goggles for the first time, having a substitute swim instructor one day or wearing a ponytail in her hair to keep it out of her eyes during class (which she typically refuses to do))....the people at 7C's (specifically Courtney, Daniel and Tiffany) have always worked with my daughter in a way that was easy and relaxed and they have ultimately helped her get through her obstacles. They understand that all children have different needs and they bend over backwards to meet those needs as effeciently as they can. I can't say enough good things about 7C's. We have been there for about 6 months now or so. When we arrived my daughter wouldn't put her head or face in the water at all. She now floats on her back and can flip over and swim to the edge of the pool by herself. 7 C's swim school is a very positive place for kids! read more

My husband was a swimmer growing up and comes from a family who owns two aquatic businesses. I have seen good swim instruction and kid friendly facilities. For anyone thinking about putting there kids in swim class, this place is great. They have individual one on one lessons in a very warm pool. This is the only pool we have been in where my two year old is not shivering while swimming or have blue lips when done. Our instructor Franklin is awesome. It took my daughter a few lessons to become comfortable, which is natural for any child in a new environment. Franklin has worked with her and now in month 3 she is really thriving and comfortable with many of the instructors. I also love that the pool is shallow enough for instruction and for safe playtime after. They have toys that my daughter loves to play with after her lessons. I would recommend this swim school to my family and friends! read more
