Scammers. My brother bought an Xbox one x from here last week. My son played it one day after he bought it to make sure it works. Since their return policy is only 24 hours. He's been at sports and school and I only allow him to play on the weekend. He tried to play it today and can't. There's no image that pops up. Avoid buying electronics. A waste of $400. Craaaazy. "0" ZERO stars EBay seller, worst ethics I've ever seen. Package lost, label fell off of it, when I noticed a problem with tracking I contacted them immediately, they did nothing to help. Item is long gone, I've lost lots of money and time, will not communicate with me. They have kept all my money and any insurance paid by usps. I opened a case early on with eBay, seller then said they opened usps insurance case, they promised to take care of it, I would not be forgotten! That was early August, now it's late February. I swear to god this place should be shut down. I went in today to pawn a subwoofer. There is no free parking anywhere near snookys, so i parked all the way by the bridge which was a 20 min walk, but i figured if i could just get it there that'd be it and I'd get something for it. Upon walking in, I was greeted by an employee. He tried to actually tell me that nobody buys home theater anymore. Yup, that's the incompetent morons who work at Snookys. I wasn't buying it. Then the manager came up the stairs to talk to me. I've never met such a terrible manager of anything in my life. He told me the same thing. At this point, i just didn't want to have to lug it back to my car. I SAID ID TAKE 20$ ON A SUB WORTH 250 NEW!!! And yes the moron still wouldn't do that. He eventually ended up kicking me out and telling me not to come back. Well I ain't coming back. But instead of being smart and just giving me something for it, He now lost a customer, that customers friends, and now has a bad review from me on both google and Yelp. I don't know his name. Probably late 30s, short black hair. I also was in one time and saw them kick out a homeless man who wasn't doing anything wrong or being belligerent. The inside of their store always smells like mold, and there stuff is insanely overpriced. I've seen original Xbox One's for over 150$. If you're looking for a good deal, look elsewhere. I saw they had a lot of video games and stuff posted on Craigslist (they list it under the wrong section-it should be under for sale by dealer, but that is another issue) so I went to browse to see if I could dig up some good older games or find a deal on something to kill some time this weekend. They do have decent stock, and it is well organized, but my god the prices. They must be selling stuff owned by king Midas, because it's priced like it's made of gold. Some of the stuff I saw was reasonable, but only if you were specifically looking for one random game or really needed to pay $5 less than retail for a PS3 controller. The rest of it was either as high as retail, or just about what you'd pay on eBay or Amazon for something including shipping. I can't see bothering going back unless they reevaluate their prices. The good thing is that they "advertise" on Craigslist so if something did change I would know (hopefully under the for sale by dealer category). read more
