I've been wanting to try a Snooze for awhile now and I'm so glad I did! I came here on a Sunday at around 10 am for a breakfast/lunch, so basically "brunch," and the wait was about 35-40 minutes, which isn't horrible- I've seen worse. I had the strawberry mimosa and can I just say- YUM! That was hands down the best mimosa I've ever had. It I was so fresh and the strawberry flavor was definitely there. There was a good amount of champagne in there too, which is a plus. I had 2 and that was more than enough. For food, I had the Snooze Classic which came with eggs, hash browns and your choice of meat and then toast but I did substitute the toast for pancakes, which is $4.00 extra. That's kinda high, but it was really good so it's fine. The eggs were perfect- fluffy and had great flavor. I also got the bacon as my meat and it that was also really good. Tender and with great flavor. I normally like super crispy bacon, but the flavor made up for that. I needed a pet friendly restaurant regardless, because I have my pup with me on this trip and they are VERY pet friendly. They have an area that has turf, so I'm assuming if your pet needs to release themselves, it's not as bad of a clean up- although I did not get clarification if that's what that is for, but one can only assume. Anyways, they are very accommodating for pets and I absolutely love that. This place also had a super chill vibe with all different types of people, which is what I like. Our waitress was also really nice and very attentive and we had great conversation about the food itself and our pups! I'm so glad I finally tried Snooze! Very happy with my experience. Oh! Last thing- they got rid of their straws to be a greener place and I love that. I enjoy when businesses try to help our planet. This is a really lively place. The follow social distancing guidelines and everyone was wearing masks and gloves. The servers were very nice and perky (like they had 10 cups of coffee), however the service was a little slow for my taste. I ordered the corn beef hash and had to wait until I was almost done with my meal for someone to come back with my salt and pepper. We ordered the OMG French toast for the table and they brought that out first. Another issue was that our plates came out one at a time instead of all at once. The corned beef hash can use a little more flavor but the OMG French toast was really OMG! Probably the best French toast I've ever had. read more

Perfect brunch spot! I ordered a mmm-mosa (flavored mimosa) which was served in a much bigger glass than expected! As for food, I love a sampler platter so I got the pancake flight. I got the pineapple upside down, hot cocoa, and blueberry pancakes. Once again, the size of these weren't skimped on and full of flavor. You could definitely split this dish with a friend. This place does get crowded easily, especially on Saturday morning, but the attentive and friendly personality of our server made up for it. Whenever I come down with a deep craving for Snooze, I know I always need to make a reservation ahead of time. Without fail, by doing this, I'm able to wait for my turn from the comfort of my home until it gets close to my time to arrive. Snooze has yet to make anything I don't absolutely rave about, but lately, I've been hooked on their Shrimp and Grits dish. When I come with my partner, she gets the Habanero Pork Belly Benny and we also share a flight of pancakes between us two. We never finish our food and end up taking our leftovers home, but it's all worth it to us to splurge a little on our comfort foods. Things to improve on, even when reservation is done (an hour of wait) and not selecting patio, they ended up putting you in patio or you have to go back to the wait list all over again which is not great especially when there are too many flies and they will sit on your food for sure. Snooze exceeded my expectations. Brunch here was perfect. Everyone was friendly and the food came out quickly! Came at around 11am on a Wednesday and there was no wait time. The option to mix and match benedicts is really nice and great for indecisive people like me. I got the Benny Duo with the Chile Verde w/ Pork and Bella! Bella! Benny. The Chile Verde was sooo good and definitely my favorite of the 2! The pork was rich in flavor. The Bella came with a side of arugula and was also good but less flavorful, I could only really taste the bread underneath. The consistency of the benedicts was spot on. I subbed the hash brown for fruit. I also tried a bit of the pancake flight, and man, the Cinnamon Roll Pancake (not on the menu but you can still order it. Trust me, order it) was the best pancake that I've ever tried. It was sweet, soft, and topped with drizzling goodness. I would come back and order this for myself! The Blueberry Danish pancake was my second favorite and also really good. The other pancake was the special of the day. The Iced Latte with soy milk is a good option if you're craving coffee but not looking for something too sweet. Parking was easy in a garage, the music isn't too loud, and the seating is comfy. Ughhh, why is this place so gooood? You'll pay the same for breakfast as you would a night out but it's worth it. The pineapple upside down pancakes are amazing, the kids meals are actually well balanced and have great options, and there are a ton of veggie options. Soyrizo, vegan pancakes, veggie bowls, etc. For beverages the hot chocolate is a delight for all ages and makes you feel real fancy when it's served in a pint class all done up! Awful service. My sister and I came here to meet with 2 friends from out of town. We checked in online and were advised that there would be an hour wait (per the app) which was understandable. It was a Sunday morning/afternoon and so it was definitely going to be crowded. The day was very windy so I really wanted to sit inside. The area was open so there was plenty of room for people to stand around while waiting. When we finally got a table, we were seated at one of the high top tables by the hostess and given menus. all the doors were wide open so it was very breezy inside, kind of cold. Our waiter "Richey Rich" (per my receipt) came by and asked if he could get us any drinks and we all wanted coffee, with 2 orange juices. It was about another 5-10 minutes before he came back with our drinks, also cups of water for each of us, and then he said he'd come back in a minute. However, he actually never came back to take our food orders. It wasn't until I was able to call him over that he said he could take our food orders (about another 10-15 minutes after walking around to other tables and then disappearing somewhere). We were able to put our orders in and then we waited another 15-20 minutes for our food to come out. While we were waiting, we had all drink our coffees but Richey didn't come back over so I had to look out for him again until he walked by our table to ask for more coffee for all of us at the table. The chef brought our food out and thankfully it was still hot and delicious! Richey came by to give my friend his plate of hash that he asked for on the side and we asked for hot sauces and ketchup which he got for us immediately. From the time to when we finished our food, Richey didn't come by our table to check on us or refill our drinks. It wasn't until we were ready for our checks that he came by to ask if we needed anything else, which we said we didn't and just wanted our checks and he picked up the empty plates we stacked for him. We had our tickets separated per person to make it easy. Richey came by and brought each of us our individual tickets, which mine was correct and I took my sister's ticket and combined mine, so I knew that both of ours would be paid on my card and then our 2 friends had their tickets put together on 1 card as well. Some reason when I got my card back with the receipt to sign, my ticket said that I had paid for my sister and 1 of our friend's meals instead of my meal. It was already too busy to bother trying to get a refund and then re-scan my card for another transaction so we just signed our tickets and left. If Richey had really checked the individual tickets, it would have been correct and I'm not sure how he could have messed it up with the 2 proper tickets given to him with the card in hand. I don't think I'd come back to this location because of the lack of service I was given with my friends, I hope they didn't get a bad impression. They did enjoy the food though but I'd suggest to them another location next time. read more

OK this place was a unique and amazing experience. I absolutely loved my food. I did not think I would but it was the drunken monkey banana bread, French toast, some people called it the funky, monkey, banana bread, French toast, but the says drunken monkey and I am telling you that stuff was amazing. My friend, had the eggs Benedict I wasn't too impressed with the eggs Benedict sauce. It was more of a cream cheese sauce than the hollandaise sauce and I wasn't highly impressed with it but it did have a good flavor. I can't take away from that, it was just a little too creamy. I guess you could say and not tart like hollandaise sauce should be the service was awesome. I absolutely loved our service staff very eclectic very Midtown Austin. It was a great little place. I would definitely go here again for sure. Breakfast was a tad bit expensive for two people with just two entrées. It was $70, but for a special breakfast just for a special time out it's OK. Burned Beyond Recognition! An absolutely dreadful experience for my first visit! My wait was supposed to be 25 minutes but it ended up being 45 minutes for some unknown reason. It was a table for 2 so I'm not sure how that happened. Enclosed is a picture of the charred potato that both the waitress and the manager deemed unsuitable for human consumption. We ordered from Snooze last year for our Annual Leadership Meeting. We were all impressed with the selection and the yummy breakfast! We decided to order again this year. I called in on Monday for a Wednesday morning pick up. Arrived, asked for an order for Clifford Power, and got a "blank face" look. Uh oh! The manager came out, apologized for the mix up and oversight. I was a little upset, because now I am going to have 15 + technicians and Corporate Office representatives to feed and all I had to offer was mixed fruit, coffee and green bananas (Walmart delivery *eye roll*). Needless to say, the manager got to the kitchen staff right away and offered to deliver our breakfast. He was quick, food great, and we had a successful meeting.
