Signature Pancake Flight
Kevin V.

I decided to treat myself today after sleeping in late so I ordered the signature pancake flight and a green drink cause I felt I was feeling a little run down. The pancakes were delicious. But from the moment I picked up this to-go order I was extremely disappointed at how tiny the cup of green juice was compared to the photo in the website. It cost $5.50 and I expected a cup the size of the photo! That's why I knocked off points. The staff inside was friendly and the atmosphere was nice, with a dog friendly patio.

Hubby and I are huge fans of a delightfully boozy brunch, so it's about time that we hit up Snooze! I honestly don't know why it's taken us so long. We absolutely love Sundays for the brunch options (Jack Allen's is a fave) but, here, it's boozy brunch every day, right? Sign us up! This place is cute, y'all! Very busy 50's vibe, and it is PACKED, so we're clearly not the only boozy Saturday brunch fans! LOL! For those boozy drinks, I'm opting for the Choice Mimosa with grapefruit, and Hubby's getting the Boozy Blackberry Mint Limeade with vodka. Both are delish! Definitely fresh fruit juice! Love it! For meals, I got the Garden Harvest Omelet with a side of Bacon But Different to balance out the health. LOL! It was utterly delicious, y'all! The bacon was stupidly good, and, together with the gorgeously fresh omelette, it was quite literally the perfect balance. It'll be my go to! Hubby got the Corned Beef Hash with tortillas. It blew him away! He called it "really exceptional" with crunch, savoriness, corned beef deliciousness! He'd order it again in a heartbeat! We decided to end with the pancake flight because...why not? This was the perfect ending! There aren't even words for how insanely yummy these were! All in all, this place is awesome! Adding it to our culinary Rolodex, for sure! We'll probably hit up the Whitestone location next, just for kicks! Thanks, Snooze!

THE go-to brunch spot with the girls. charming retro interior, the fluffiest coma-inducing pancakes, beautifully crafted bowls, and amazing service! really appreciate the variety of the menu since breakfast/brunch places usually have the same egg toast and sausage combos. they also have lots of healthier choices and super cute seasonal items that keeps the selection fresh :)

Yogurt + Peanut Butter Toast ($11)

Solid brunch place in Austin. Sure, it's a bit pricey, but that's normal at a place like this. It has something for everyone, from a selection of benedicts to pancakes to a bowl of greens. Food: I got yogurt and peanut butter toast for $11. I found it a strange combo, but the yogurt was great! The toast was a bit tough though. Don't get the fried rice here, but go for the egg benedicts! ‍ Service: Friendly staff and usual time to bring the food out. Ambiance: Free parking garage next door, open seating, but a bit chilly inside. I'll be return some day!

I really like how this place has something for everyone . The menu perfect for some one that has diet restrictions . The atmosphere is very laid back . Gluten Free Friendly Signature Pancake Flight , Bacon But Different, Hash Browns

Amazing!! The gluten free options are amazing and the portion sizes are huge which if you're gluten free you know that's rare. They ask about allergies too and take the precautions to make your food safe I didn't have a reaction. Our waiter was amazing very nice and kept checking on us. The music and vibe is super cute inside. The only complaint is the long wait but it's worth it for the food . Will be going back!

According to a friend I needed too put this on my foodie list. So I finally did!! Before I get into my review let me say that everyone taste buds are different. The service was fast and friendly and personable. The ambiance of this place is a momodern casual vibe and casual styling and decor. I ordered the Shrimp & Grits & one pancake and coffee. I'm a big pancake guy, so I'm very critical of pancakes, meaning temperature of pancake, size of pancake and taste of pancake and cost. The cost of 1 pancake cost me 6.99, which was over priced too me. The taste was plain and nothing separated itself from any other restaurant pancakes. The temperature didn't melt the butter . Shrimp & Grits... I think that my gustatory cells didn't agree with this dish because it lacked that southern zest & seasoning. If I were up North maybe this dish would have hit different. Over all it was a nice place too visit and a new experience . I would visit again.

Protein Trio Omelet*, excellent!
Mary L.

Snooze continues to serve up a great brunch. I tried a new item today-- the Protein Trio omelette--and it is excellent. It's a big 3-egg omelette with very generous amounts of bacon, sausage, and ham, cooked perfectly. I asked for well-done crispy hash browns and they did them just right. My companion had her favorite Corned Beef Hash. She says it's the best around, and the serving size was more than generous. My only complaint is how LOUD this place is. Midday Sunday is going to be busy at any popular place, but something about the acoustics of snooze makes the noise bounce around in an especially rackety way. Obviously I need to come here during the week, then it would be perfect.

I always enjoy the place. The service, the food and the atmosphere are always great. I was able to was right in with no wait on a Thursday morning. The shrimp and grits are one of a kind.

I like the one in Cedar Park better but this one was fine. The customer service is good.

Egg-cellent Adventure at Snooze - Austin Edition Okay, so imagine waking up in Austin, slightly groggy, craving something that'll make your taste buds do a little two-step. Enter: Snooze. This place is not your average breakfast joint--it's like brunch on a magic carpet ride. Let's talk about the real MVP: Eggs Benedict. But hold on--this isn't just one Benedict, oh no. It's a choose-your-own-Benny adventure! I felt like a kid at a brunch buffet birthday party. Wanna mix a classic with a spicy Barbacoa Benny? Do it. Feeling fancy with lox and avocado? Go wild. You can even mix and match two different Benedicts on one plate, which should honestly be illegal because it's too good. And the staff? HILARIOUS. Like, sitcom-level funny. Our server cracked jokes like they moonlight at a comedy club--and still managed to remember every weird little substitution at the table. It was like being served by your funniest friend who also happens to be a brunch wizard. 10/10 would snooze again--but only if it means waking up at Snooze. Brilliant Dinning

Hash Browns
James K.

I came here for breakfast and enjoyed it. I was able to get seated immediately and without a reservation, which was nice. Their location was solid. The shrimp and grits were money!! Hashbrowns were okay. And Kenya did a great job taking care of me. I would eat here again for sure. Well done Snooze team!!

Pancake Flight Customized (standard option)
Sydney N.

Had such a great experience last time so decided to try a different location. The general decor of the restaurant is very cute and vintagesque. Ordered some different food and wanted to try the pancake flight. Would definitely recommend the bravocado toast and the other entrees we bought but if you want a pancake here I'd skip everything and go straight for the cinnamon roll pancake. The service was very okay.

There is a parking lot that you can get validation for 2 hrs free, but after that you will be charged. Overall though, it's totally worth a visit! The bartenders are really friendly, the bathrooms are immaculate, and the inside of the place is really cute -- think kinda pink vintage? There are some tables, and big comfy couches around a coffee table in the middle of the bar which is where we sat. I had one of their happy hour cocktails that was similar to a creamy espresso martini, and they are 50% off on happy hour days/times! My friend got one of their floral cocktails which wasn't discounted but I LOVED it personally. I also got a strawberry matcha drink (non alcoholic) that was a little too sweet in my opinion; I finished it but wouldn't get it again. Overall though the cocktails and vibe in there are worth a visit alone! When it's not too hot, the area outside has little mini-chandeliers and is also very vibey.

I usually only go to coffee shops to work, but today, went on a coffee date with my dog instead. There's ground floor parking in the garage that's complimentary for two hours. I kept it simple with a vanilla latte. I noticed they had tacos at the bottom of the food menu, but at $13.25 for two tacos + an a la carte item, I decided to pass. Maybe my expectations were too high (as usual) because it's inside a hotel, but I was hoping for the kind of warm hospitality hotels are known for, but instead, the service felt a bit cold. It didn't exactly make me want to spend more money there. While sitting on the patio, I spotted the food truck outside and thought, "PERFECT. A food truck HAS to be cheaper. Take that Simona's!" I walked up to the window... only to find out it wasn't actually a separate food truck. It was just the pickup window. To order? I had to go back inside to Simona's and place my order with the delightful staff... I ended up ordering two Blue Migas tacos, and honestly, they were just... good, but nothing memorable. They tasted like your average breakfast tacos that you can find all over Austin for less. Despite loving how relaxing the outdoor patio is with its lucious greenery surrounding you and the beautiful French chairs and cafe tables, it's located right next to the hotel pool. If you're visiting on a summer afternoon, expect some extra noise with pool guests. If you're looking for a quiet coffee or a place to work, I'd recommend coming early in the morning instead.

My friend and I sat next to a faux fireplace, where we were greeted by the only bartender working and placed our order. Once he opened the tab, it was disappointing that he never came back to check if we wanted another drink. It wasn't super busy on the Monday we went, but since he was the only one manning the bar, the bartender was always doing something, so I don't blame him fully for not checking back in with us. I ordered a drink called the Velvet Vice. It looked nothing like the picture and tasted similar to an Aviation cocktail with egg whites. I happened to really like it. It is a very relaxed space, but once the speakeasy gimmick wears off, it does not have much else going for it. It is still a cool place, but I am not sure it was worth the lengthy drive to get there. The bartender claimed I was drunk and cut me off anyway. She was clearly into me, and the bartender kept jumping in trying to talk to her too (instead of doing his job making drinks). He was doing all sorts of things to try and flirt with her and make her laugh: pulling out and showing her buckets of pre mixed cocktails, running and sliding under the bar, etc. She was engaging with both of us , and right in the middle of that, I get cut off out of nowhere. No explanation other than claiming I looked drunk, which I very clearly wasn't. It felt very clear what was going on--he wanted me out of the way. I left and asked the bouncer on my way out if I seemed drunk. This was literally two minutes later. He said no, not at all, and asked me why I would even ask that. I then told him exactly what happened and asked him to let the owner or whoever was in charge know about this extremely unprofessional conduct so they can discipline the bartender. His response was that the bartender has discretion to cut anyone off, and let me know the bartender is supposedly married so he couldn't have been flirting with any of the customers. Well, sounds like his logic is flawed--not only COULD he flirt with his customers, he WAS, and was therefore cheating. I hope his wife finds out. This is perfectly representative of Austin customer service lately and not normal in other places. I was in Tampa for an entire month earlier this year and this would've been unthinkable there.
