Parking in the garage is free on weekends. They quoted us a forty five minute wait for brunch, but ended up seating us after only ten minutes! Snooze is a Colorado based restaurant chain. Surprisingly for a western state based restaurant, there are no toilet seat covers in the restroom. There weren't as many gluten and dairy free options as Kerbey Lane. They can make any of their pancakes gluten free but not cow dairy free as it contains buttermilk. They do carry gluten free bread even though their menu doesn't specify. They can make french toast gluten free, but not dairy free as their egg wash contains milk. They can also make any of their sammies gluten free. I ended up ordering the Snooze classic. The bacon was oversalted and overcooked, tasting like salty jerky. I'm not sure if their scrambled eggs contained milk or butter, as I had a stomachache afterwards. I would come back again, but order a gluten free sandwich instead. read more

We brunched here on Monday and it was still pretty busy, I have been to the South Lamar location and really enjoyed it so wanted to check out the north location. Parking is validated at a very convenient parking garage around the corner so that was great. Our server was pretty helpful and cheerful and we loved him! I got a half spicy half sweet hot chai and it was frothy and delicious. We decided to split a pancake and tried the lemon poppyseed since it seemed to be not as sugary as some of the others (my friend is diabetic so I was trying not to put her into a coma). I like that they do the pancake flights and I think you can even get items off the menu if you ask nice enough. I opted to try a benny duo and it was quite filling even though at first glance the plate didn't seem so good. I had the one with the quinoa cake on it which was pretty yummy and different and the Bella Bella which had the nice salty thin proscuitto I believe. Wow just wow... this place is amazing! This is some of the best breakfast I have had in the Austin area yet. Our server was super nice and really attentive even though the restaurant was packed. I had the OMG French Toast and it was so creamy and it has just the perfect amount of sweetness. I also had the hash browns and two eggs. The hash browns were evenly toasted on the outside with a moist middle just how I like it. My favorite breakfast and brunch spot in Austin! I have lived in Austin for over 20 years and this is the perfect spot to meet the ladies for brunch or to show-off Central Austin to my college friends that coming to town. North Central Austin has a small-town charm that is unique to Austin and to me establishments like Snooze and Kirby Lane are what make it special and unique. Two of my favorites are blueberry pancakes and eggs benedict but everything on the menu is amazing. I went here for brunch with a friend of mine that had recommended it and I had a really good time. I had the chili verde eggs but had them scrambled instead of poached. (Can't remember the menu name). It was delicious. I also got the peanut butter cup pancake annnd itwasnotmyfavorite. Reese's peanut butter cups are my favorite candy and I thought it might actually have peanut butter cups on it or in it but it was a pancake with chocolate chips that had peanut butter sauce on it. And all I could taste was cooked peanut butter and I really did not care for it and did not eat it all and I hate leaving food. I wanted to get a drink but it was a little over priced for a mimosa. They also a menu of specialty drinks. I went with the spud which is hashbrowns with different cheeses and an egg on top. For my toppings I chose spinach and avacado. It was pretty good but a lot of hash brown in my opinion! My friend got some type of egg Benedict and said it was alright. I came here with my big, Amy! Usually you have to wait for seating, but we got here pretty late around 1PM so we got tables immediately. We thought our server was a bit rude, ignoring our table and not filling our water. Other servers however were very nice and personable!! We decided to split two dishes and it was so worth! We got the Ham Benedict and the CocoNana pancakes. The portions were huge! Filled me up all the way. The ham benedict came with hash browns. Overall, a good deal that will fill you up, but it was a bit dry! The pancakes were great! I didn't like the cream too much since it was too heavy and sugary, but the pancake itself was delicious, crispy and fluffy with chocolate chips. Great breakfast place. There's a reason why this place is so popular, but it's worth it! While you wait, get a mimosa! Great way to start. The good news is we were seated a lot quicker than anticipated. We had a patio table. It was a chilly, yet sunshiny day. They had the heaters on so it was perfect. The service was wonderful. Everyone was so kind! Did you know they have a pancake flight?! It was amazing! I had a chocolate chip, peanut butter cup, and cannoli pancakes. I also had bacon and hash browns with cheese. I had a mimosa to wash it down. I ate every bite! Every time I go to brunch at Snooze, I am never disappointed! This is a rare thing for me to say, but Snooze really knows how to cater to their customer. I have gone 3 weekends in a row and have tried 3 different menu options each time. I'd have to say the Bravodaco Toast is on the top of my list so far & the Vegan Bliss Pancakes reign 2nd. As a person who enjoys healthier meal options, I'm happy to see that Snooze has those brunch options, but I enjoy tasting the savory foods on my brunch partner's Snooze Classic as well (and always with a side of their Yellowbird habeñero hot sauce!) The wait can go very long for this place, so I recommend joining the waitlist an hour or so before you plan on dining here; the wait is very well worth it! I'll be honest: I don't like pancakes. I've always been more of a waffle guy, mainly because I enjoy a little crunch or chew in my breakfast starch. However, the pancake I had at Snooze may be the exception. I went with the blueberry danish pancake (per my server's recommendation), and it was pretty darn delicious. True to its name, it had a good amount of blueberries and was drizzled with blueberry and cream cheese sauce. There was also a little mound of sweet cream cheese in the middle of the pancake, which added a nice flavor to balance out the sweetness of the other ingredients. I also had an egg white scramble, which was good but not great. And because I'd had a rough week, I also ordered a Hill Country Mule, a twist on a Moscow Mule made with local ingredients. It was a good brunch beverage, maybe a little too sweet when paired with the pancakes. I know there's a ton of hype for this place, and I was actually surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Their Eggs Benedict III rules. It's my favorite breakfast indulgence, and Snooze does it just right. I've had this delectable dish here three times now. The poached eggs are always perfect, the hollandaise sauce tasty, the whole plate comes out looking like a million bucks (and tastes like it, too). What I can't understand is why their hash browns are regularly served in one thick lump of a potato cake with only the top and bottom outsides crispy, leaving the inside soft and mushy. Fortunately, you can ask for your potato cake to be flattened and crisped - a much tastier way to enjoy hash browns! Hopefully, it will come off the grill and onto your plate before any of the potato pieces burns. A few burnt pieces seems a small quibble, but alas, they do leave an overwhelming and unwelcome after taste. Service is friendly and upbeat. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and tidy. LOCATION: I'm a gal from Dallas so I am not use to the hard to find parallel parking spaces in Austin, but this specific location has a free parking garage that makes life a little less harder. We were able to be seated outside in about 15 minutes though so the wait wasnt terrible. Our waiter was polite and good at checking on us to see if we needed anything, even though we were outside. Ordered delivery and food arrived almost an hour later than the expected window and room temperature/cold. The items were also mushed together and some items were burnt. (Toast) one of our orders was missing an added and paid for ingredient, but happened to be the most stellar item at room temperature - sweet potato hash with bacon (they left out the bacon) The menu itself looks quite appetizing and I don't want to write this business off completely because I would want to try the physical location and see what the service was like from a guest perspective, but would highly warn people to avoid delivery if you can. read more

Snooze! So good! The skinny is this place is probably one of the best breakfast/brunch places in town and certainly lives up to expectations. In fact, this is my go to brunch spot in Austin. Coffee, OJ, the Pancake Flight + Benedict III makes the perfect breakfast/brunch feast. Their morning cocktails are tasty also. Snooze is always a go-to favorite when you're craving a good, filling breakfast! My Husband and I always order the Brewmosa, which is a spin on a traditional mimosa in that it's made with orange juice and a Belgian style beer - the one we had recently was made with Celis White! We honestly prefer the Brewmosa over a regular mimosa, the taste is fuller without the sugar crash and headache you can get from a mimosa. My Husband ordered the Breakfast Burrito filled with eggs, hash browns, black beans, cheese, pico de gallo and topped with green chile sauce - it was HUGE and so yummy! I ordered the Goldilock's Porridge which was a yummy mixture of steel cut oats, quinoa, almond milk topped with berries, bananas and slivered almonds. I added a side of sourdough toast and a kid's portion of hash browns, and then we split a sweet potato pancake that was so heavenly we devoured it! A well balanced breakfast if you ask me!
