My Wife requested we have breakfast at this place and we really enjoyed our time here. I truly appreciate their plant based options and the ability to sub out eggs for tofu. I can confirm their Banana Bills Pancakes are great and vegan, count me in! I really like the location as well, its easy to get in to and the staff was super friendly.

Today we had a party of three. One order of Juan's Tacos, one regular Snooze breakfast, and one order of their corned beef hash. Then there was a pineapple upside down pancake to share. Two of us enjoyed a bloody Mary -- one had gin and one with vodka. Everything was delicious, served, broccoli, and our server was very pleasant.

This was our first time eating at the North Lamar location. It's located in a center that has parking underground, which is free, which is great. We tried a couple of new entrées, which were very good. Our service as well was excellent. The menu is wide ranging, so I'm pretty sure there's something for everyone. And they allow you to have half orders of different items, so you should ask when you get there. It's a very popular place around 11 AM so try to get there early or be prepared for a short wait. But you can also get the app, and go on the waitlist. All in all definitely give this place a try we give it five stars.

This location is busy! Good for Kyle, TX!! Our wait time was only about 30 minutes so we enjoyed a coffee next door while we waited. The ham and cheese omelette was really good. Seasoned perfectly and tasty. The pancake was a bit dry and the tiny syrup was a joke, I had to ask for more syrup twice! I didn't like the stacked hashbrowns. They are too thick and not crispy enough. The service was lacking. Out waitress was a bit dismissive and almost rude. When she asked if we were ready to order we hesitated a little to see if both of us was ready and she quickly interrupted and said, "I'll give you a minute and come back." And rushed to another table. She always seemed rushed and not interested. She also didn't seem happy or enjoy her job. She even brought the wrong hot sauce I asked for. Maybe not a good listener or just busy? The food was good but I hope for better service if we visit again.

Benedict duo with the most odd and undercooked "hashbrowns" I've ever had

This would be a 5- star review if it wasn't for the somewhat offensive hockey puck of potato mush that they call hashbrowns. We ordered expensive coffee and avocado toast and a duo of Benedicts - pork belly and barbacoa. Both dishes were excellent with flavorful accompaniments and were put together with care. Which makes it so weird that the "hashbrown" is so neglected. It's a thick pile of potato shreds that wasn't crispy and the potatoes on the inside were under cooked. It's so thick that the ratio of crispy potato to soft potato will always be way off, no matter how long they cook it. I've never seen hashbrowns done like this and it is truly mind boggling. The service was perfect. Marco was so attentive and polite. The music threw me back to the 90s, which was a great pick-me-up for the morning. I'll go back, but I definitely will be avoiding those potatoes!

There was a small wait period (15-20 minutes) so we waited outside and it was fun to have a game of cornhole to spend some time while waiting. Ricardo was our waiter and he was very kind and fun, we got mimosas to start, bacon (because of national bacon day) and the pork fried rice, all super delicious. The ambience is similar to all the other snooze eateries, lounges and booths, a big TV playing the UT game and a long bar. We will be coming back!

The food is amazing and the staff is very friendly. We came at a very busy hour for brunch on the weekend. The queue moved quickly. The decor is okay. The biscuit was amazing, my family loved the food. We will definitely be back but preferably on a weekday.

I love the ambience of this place-bright and cheerful. The menu is eclectic and has choices for everyone. The first few times I thought the kitchen was slow because of the crowd. Today I went in and there was only a handful of tables. My 'easy' meal of eggs, bacon, and hash browns took forever to come out. I had also ordered a pancake for my birthday. It was dense and an odd texture. It tasted good, but could have been better! I so wanted to give this place a 4.5 but because of the kitchen slowness and the pancakes, I have to go with 3.5, rounded down.

We seen this breakfast is a new spot in Kyle and we were looking for breakfast so went in to give it a shot. This place is nice. Plenty of seating, bright, clean and the staff is inviting and friendly. They're knowledgeable of the menu and offer suggestions which is something I like when its my first time somewhere. I had the OMG french toast and OMG! it was. Full of flavor, cooked to perfection and topped with fruits. Hubby had pork belly fried rice with an egg; He wasn't as enthused as I was, he felt there should have been more of bigger chunks of pork belly because he tasted more of the fruit that was in there. He wouldn't order that again but would definitely try something else. We also tried a caramel latte (pretty good) along with a strawberry martini mimosa (it was good) and he had a bloody mary with bacon (liked it better after he added cholula to it) We will come back and I do recommend the place.

Have always had consistently good service here and the food is good, especially the bennys and my fave as of late, the habanero pork belly breakfast fried rice. They have a extensive menu so there's something for everyone. Drinks are pretty strong and the coffee has been better as of late. Their pancake flight is perfect for anyone who wishes to sample their specialty pancakes. My only issue is that their pancakes always seem to be on the dryer side even their specialty pancakes. But it may also be just me and preference. It's definitely a good spot for when you dont feel like rolling out of bed and making breakfast. Definitely join the waitlist as soon as you roll out of bed as wait times are normally 30+ minutes.

Love this little chain - and most of the food EXCEPT the hash brown patty thing that is over seasoned. Sub in a pancake (especially the pineapple upside down one) instead! I've eaten all the "bennys" except one and they are all tasty. Love their hot lattes and mimosas. This location is a bit small, and outdoor seating is right out on the hot concrete with no shade - so get there early on the weekends! read more

We knew snooze would be pretty busy for brunch at 11am, so we joined the waitlist online and it was great! Got to the restaurant and was seated within 15 minutes. The hosts were super sweet and complimented my dress and we had a decent server. Food was super good, everything tasted fresh and came out in a good time (10-15 minutes) especially for how busy it was. Love the variety of options at snooze. There is going to be something for everyone. I always feel super healthy after eating their delicious garden veggie omelet, it's packed w so much good stuff I don't feel guilty about adding on their amazing bacon but different. I was thrilled when I found out Snooze was coming to Kyle. I've literally been coming here since the day they opened. The food is delicious. Everything I have ever ordered has been lip smacking good. The service is top notch. If you can't decide as your server and they will help you choose. The ambiance is really cool. It gives retro diner with a bit of modern. I highly suggest you download the app and join the rewards because their perks are great. The only bad thing about this place is they close early so when you have a craving for them at 6pm you have to wait til the next day. read more

I stopped here on a whim (I was on my way to Cava) and got the miso rice bowl. So delicious and unique. Great vibe here and also spectacular service. Everyone from the hostess to the bar staff are very knowledgeable about gluten free issues. And they have so many options: pancakes, waffles, sandwiches and Bennys (Benedicts.) I'm sitting here eating my rice bowl and along comes someone delivering a gluten free cinnamon pancake for me to try, thanks to the awesome barista, who surprised me with it. (He had no idea I was writing this as I ate.) Giving them five stars, not because they're Michelin worthy. But because the food is good and fresh, the gluten free options are plenty, and the ambiance and staff are great. Places that fire on all cylinders are few and far between in Kyle. Took Mom here as soon as they opened for Mother's Day. Our server, Megan, was amazing. So attentive, friendly, and great down to earth personality. We will request Megan to be our server next time we dine here. The food presentation was stellar, the pancake flight was delicious! Next time, I will probably stick to the pancakes. I had the hash brown casserole. It was okay, little dry, could have used more cheese and bacon. Mom had the veggie omelet. It seemed small for 3 eggs but I've been told that cage free chickens lay smaller eggs, so okay. The vibe was whimsical and although the place filled up quickly, we could still carry on a conversation without being drowned out by our surroundings. All in all, we would come back again. read more

Me and my partner stopped here after hearing mixed reviews of Snooze and now I can say it lives up to the hype! Our friendly server was very well informed of the items served here and provided wonderful service! Find myself here far too often bc the food is just so good. Everytime we come here the quality is consistently good. The service is great, the servers are attentive and cheerful, and always so nice. The music inside can be a little loud, but if the weather is nice the outdoor area is an escape from the noise. And honestly, when it's not the weekend, the music doesn't seem to be as loud- or maybe it's just bc there's less of a crowd during the week. Menu offerings are both varied and vast. Full house indoors shows wonderful customer support. Inside seating reminiscent of diners long ago. That combo (with high ceiling) made it quite loud. While there were empty tables outside on this beautiful day, was told outdoor seating not an option. Shame - it was quieter outside. Meal was tasty and good value. I love this place. The food is always fresh and the menu has so many great dishes to try. I have yet to order something that was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is lively and hip. The only complaint is that the music can be a bit too loud. Can't hear others...or even yourself. The service is great. Servers are friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this eatery. Place is always packed. They just removed almost every vegan option from there menu. I waited 30 minutes for a seat to get a menu that had changed drastically. I get emails from them all the time but no news about this. I will actually never be going there ever again. read more

Fast service for how busy the restaurant is, we even got seated in earlier than our hostess-who was super sweet and energetic (girl with red hair) quoted us. Food came out quick and was DELICIOUS. Pancakes super fluffy and the sweet potatoes are a really good healthy option. Definitely would come again, place seems really well run. read more

I also had issues with the Kyle location Yelp page. I think it would be best to call them and see what the in-house staff can help with. They took care of me when I experiencing issues!

The coffee is legit! We both liked our beverages. I really enjoyed the pecan flavor and the sweetness level was perfect. The barista informed us that they make all of their syrups in house. I noticed that there were plenty of outlets for work or study. There's quite a bit of seating including couches. They have QR codes at each table that you can order from which is so convenient. In addition to coffee (which is served until 5 pm), they also have wellness drinks, wine, beer and cocktails. They have a nice sized stage for live music. I would love to go back in the evening for a cocktail and live music! I'm so happy to have discovered this gem in Buda!

The bartender claimed I was drunk and cut me off anyway. She was clearly into me, and the bartender kept jumping in trying to talk to her too (instead of doing his job making drinks). He was doing all sorts of things to try and flirt with her and make her laugh: pulling out and showing her buckets of pre mixed cocktails, running and sliding under the bar, etc. She was engaging with both of us , and right in the middle of that, I get cut off out of nowhere. No explanation other than claiming I looked drunk, which I very clearly wasn't. It felt very clear what was going on--he wanted me out of the way. I left and asked the bouncer on my way out if I seemed drunk. This was literally two minutes later. He said no, not at all, and asked me why I would even ask that. I then told him exactly what happened and asked him to let the owner or whoever was in charge know about this extremely unprofessional conduct so they can discipline the bartender. His response was that the bartender has discretion to cut anyone off, and let me know the bartender is supposedly married so he couldn't have been flirting with any of the customers. Well, sounds like his logic is flawed--not only COULD he flirt with his customers, he WAS, and was therefore cheating. I hope his wife finds out. This is perfectly representative of Austin customer service lately and not normal in other places. I was in Tampa for an entire month earlier this year and this would've been unthinkable there. I'm not coming back.

When we were poking around looking for breweries in the area on Yelp we came across The Shady Llama! This place doesn't make their own beer but they have lots of guest taps for breweries in the surrounding area. It's a good variety of beers to choose from and it looks like there is at least one food truck available sometimes in case you get hungry. The main draw for why we came here was to see the llamas and indeed we dis see some. One of them gave us some attitude and then sauntered off down a hill, taking it's less moody companion with it. They were funny and with the attitude I got and the name of the place I posted the Eminem song "My Name Is" where the lyrics "Slim Shady" get mentioned on Instagram because I thought it was all quite fitting. In addition to seeing the llamas we saw a great view of Hill Country. There was a lot of seating when we were here and could pick pretty much anywhere we wanted to sit. But I'm sure the place can get busy... the location and those llamas are reason enough. Cold beer, moody llamas and beautiful Hill Country... definitely worth the stop!

I have been to Snooze in Kyle three times in the last few weeks. I love the place! I have been missing out. The food is very good and the servers are awesome. Today, server, Maricela, inquired about any allergies that my friend and I may have; this has never happened before, but how awesome. Also, last week we had the Melinda as our server; she was very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, I did not get the name of the young server on my first visit, but she was awesome too & seems to frequently work behind the counter (young with long dark hair).
