Amazing food and service! I am gluten free and have never been disappointed in the gluten free selection.

Best breakfast/brunch place in KC that I have experienced. The food is amazing. I recently discovered Snooze and have been here 3 times for breakfast. All 3 were great. In particular, the corned beef hash was the best I have ever had. Did'nt taste out of a can, like most places, but fresh with real chunks of corned beef. In addition, the whole wheat toast was spectacular. I felt myself gettiing healthier as I ate it. I also got iced coffee with milk and it was excellent. Very robust. If it is my choice, I am going here for brunch! read more

This is one of my favorite breakfast places in the KC metro! We went as a family of 4! The place was pretty busy, but we were seated quickly! The atmosphere looks really nice with its colorful, cute walls! Ordered a warm coffee with heavy cream, protein trio omelet, and chocolate chip pancakes! Everything we had was so good! Recently went to Snooze. Was such a pleasant surprise. Our family has food allergies so it was really nice to find a spot where GF folks can eat lots of various meals! My SIL tried the GF pancake flight and I had French toast. We also ordered eggs, bacon, and refreshers to try. I also got the spicy bloody. Would recommend. This restaurant reminds me of one in Oklahoma City called Neighborhood jam. It is very fun inside and their menu has a lot of cool twists on some of your traditional dishes. I really like the fact that you got a complimentary pancake if it was your first time. I think this place would go great in Oklahoma City. You know there are tons of places like Snooze all over these days. They tend to be bright, have big brunch menus, be able to accomodate bigger groups, and are a destination for families on the weekends. It's no surprise to me that Snooze hails from Colorado, which has also brought KC some great brunch gems such as Denver Biscuit Co. and Urban Egg, though this spot for sure has its own unique identity. For some reason Colorado seems to know how to do breakfast, and I'm not complaining. While this Snooze location has been open for a hot minute I've been dragging my feet on getting over here. Why you may ask? Largely because it always seems to have a wait and I have little kids on a schedule. This all changed for me though over a long weekend when I thought oh, I bet they might be able to get us in since it's a Monday. Snooze uses the live wait feature on Yelp which I love and I could see there was no wait when we left the house. When we got there folks were starting to file in but we got seated quickly, and the server (probably seeing that we had a baby in tow) thoughtfully seated us further away from the door since it was a frigid morning and air was wafting in as the place filled up with diners. The food was above average for this kind of brunch spot, though nothing crazy. What really moved Snooze into the five star category for me was the bright retro designed interior, paired with good food, and then topped off with some all star service. Everyone was SO nice and when we left there was a long wait despite it being a Monday. Overall, I really enjoyed this spot and I know we'll be back as our kids did too! read more

Was buttered to perfection and grilled for the right amount of time Snooze burrito was big, tasteful, and filling. With a rating of a decent 7.5/10 French toast was good. The presentation was also good but it was just a regular French toast. I'd recommend if you're in the mood for French toast Hash-browns were a bit overcooked and a bit pricey for its size. Drinks were also good but no refills on the lemonade which was not the best because you don't get a big serving so your drink runs out before your food does. Staff were friendly and accommodating. This was my first time coming here, and omg the food was soooo good. I got the Spuds Deluxe because I love hash browns. I don't like eggs very much, but ended up trying them scrambled on my dish, and they were very acceptable. Genuinely one of the best breakfast dishes I've ever had. Our server, Sheremie, was very friendly and helpful in suggesting how I should have my eggs. Everyone liked their food. I have been here several times now with family or friends in mainly large group settings. The last time I went was just me and my partner. We had a great time as always. The staff is always courteous no matter how busy they get (which it gets a lot). I like the menu a lot as well and their specialty drinks. The vibe is retro, colorful, and bright which makes it fun to dine at. I haven't ate on the patio but I really want to when the weather is right! read more

Super cool retro themed breakfast spot. Came on a Thursday morning and it was empty so we got to talk one on one with the staff and have a good time. Drinks came out quickly, the vanilla almond matcha latte was very tasty, not too grainy or plain. Normally I'd add sweetener but it was just right. I got the egg white veggie scramble with a chicken patty which was really good. I prefer to eat a light and nutritious breakfast and this was just perfect. The chicken patty was nicely seasoned and the eggs were cooked well. Wasn't a fan of the sauce but it wasn't needed at all. Also got to try the pork belly fried rice which was very savory and smooth. I was expecting a spice but it was just, almost buttery, and went down easy. I'd prefer that more for a brunch time. I wouldn't definitely come back to try some of their boozy breakfast drinks as well as their pancakes! read more

THE NEW WHIPPED COTTAGE CHEESE BOWL IS A MUST! Tried this on a whim and I'm fully hooked--this might be my new favorite thing on the Snooze menu. It's fresh, flavorful, and somehow manages to be light but still super satisfying. The whipped cottage cheese is creamy and tangy, and the combo of cucumbers, roasted tomatoes, avocado, prosciutto, and arugula just works. I also added some green onion for a good onion bite! Only complaint? I need more bread! The ciabatta it comes with is perfect for scooping, but three pieces is not enough when the bowl is this good. What a fun corporate concept. I love the Sixties space crazed retro feel. I love the fun menu, too - even if biscuits and gravy didn't make the cut. I opted for the SWEET POTATO & VEGGIE SMASH UP - Two smashed and griddled sweet potatoes dressed with pickled onions and our asparagus, red onion, & mushroom salad. Topped with avocado, a poached cage-free egg and hemp seeds. Drizzled with our house-made Snooze Sriracha maple syrup. DIVINE! Popular with waiting of 15 to 20 minutes on a Saturday morning. Could use some outdoor benches in front since really not much space by hostess desk to wait. There was sidewalk chalk outside for children though. Fun touch. Decor inside was mid century modern with some outdoor seating as well. Wait staff was friendly and helpful. I was disappointed with my order, eggs Benedict with poached eggs and avocado, as it was lukewarm as were the hash browns, which were not very crispy as implied. Brioche bun (soft though), Gruyere cheese,Snooze's special thick bacon, habanero pork belly, over medium egg, Dijon vinaigrette, (Tiny bits of) arugula, pickled red onions.  Served with a side of slather-able Sriracha maple aioli, bread & butter pickles. Their Habenero Benedict is addictive enough without this coming into the ring and punching above it's class. OMG the combination of flavor between the bacons (PLURAL!!!) and the onions and the aioli (option for you) and the pickles.......YUMMY IN MY TUMMY!!! Aka "GET IN MY BELLY" Plus their hockey puck o hash browns (you can order them xtra crispy too!!) with either ketchup, Siracha, Tobasco or/and the bird green sauce they have..... At first glance online, this restaurant looked decent. Upon entering I really enjoyed the decor. It had a really funky vibe which I thought was really cute. It seemed to be in one of the suburbs which I thought was nice considering there were other outlets nearby. We were seated while we were on the waitlist and we got our drinks pretty fast and matcha latte was OK. I've had better as for the coffee, it was coffee now time for the food. I got the vegan pancakes and the vegan tofu scramble. I shouldn't had such high expectations for the scramble considering it's not a fully vegan restaurant. It really disappointed me. Their hashbrowns are also a bit odd which I thought was interesting and the vegan pancake was probably my favorite item. My sister also enjoyed her pancake. She didn't like the sausage. It was about $60 for both of us which was way more higher than the quality of the food that we had. This would probably be my only visit. read more

From grub hub to self pickup.. bc it seemed too long to wait for.. that's what I said when I called Snooze and Donnie (GM) was behind it and on top of getting our order ready for me to pickup! Food was ready when I arrived. Pickup was smooth! Staff was helpful and courteous! Our order were prepared just as we'd expected! We dined in delight! Pumpkin Pecan pancakes and Bacon but different was simply divine with all the right tastiness..just wish there was more of the vanilla cream cheese filling and caramel sauce with pecans. My family and I love snooze! We visit this location a lot, but have been to others, even out of state. The ambiance is great, we feel welcomed & have a great time. We love all of the servers we have had! We love the kids menu, although my kids are now starting to eat their entire kids meal & still want more! Snooze has good vegan options too! I tried Snooze for the first time and really enjoyed my experience. I ordered the Garden Harvest Omelet. I was looking for something fresh and not too heavy. This order was exactly that. The omelet is packed with fresh asparagus, mushrooms, zucchini, topped with avocado and herbed cream cheese. I got a side salad but you can also sub it for hash browns. My partner got the Breakfast Burrito, and I have to say, I was a little jealous! It was loaded with eggs, crispy hash browns, and a delicious green chili sauce that took it to the next level. There is an extra cost if you want to add protein to the burrito. The vibe here is great, with friendly staff. We went at a less busier time, so we got seated immediately. I recommend adding your name to the wait list prior, if you plan on going at a busy time. read more

We finally made it in here well after the breakfast rush. Time for the waitress to come to take our order, and refill drinks was lacking. It seems everyone is waiting for their food far longer than you would expect at a brunch place. The food looks pretty, and tastes okay, but portions seem a little smaller than they should be. The ceiling lights are lovely, adding quite to the ambiance. The colors are bright and cheerful. We went to Snooze for a Sunday brunch and was not disappointed. It was our fault that we had to wait because we didn't make a reservation or I didn't sign up on Yelp before time (facepalm) but the wait time quoted was about the actual wait time. Our server (who's name escapes me at the moment) was fantastic. She was handling another big party and did a great job. There were 6 of us and I think she had another big table. The accuracy of the orders was spot on and we received everything fairly quickly. The food was great. We all got different things for the most part and there were no complaints. Would definitely visit again, just make sure we make a reservation lol. read more
