Pacific Sunrise Inn & Suites seemed like a great spot and was offering a great deal for a weekend that worked for us. We arrived close to 10 minutes before their check in time and were told that our room was ready for us as we were exhausted from a three hour drive. At the front desk, they do have some chocolate mints for humans and milk bone treats for pets to enjoy. They do have a pet fee per pet but it was fair pricing as they have a pretty simple pet policy. I also appreciate that they are a completely non-smoking spot. The staff there were very professional and pleasant to speak with and they were more than happy to ensure our stay went perfectly. As we entered our room, we were content with the cleanliness of our room and the different amenities. The TV was a little strange to use but after we figured it out, there was no issues. There was a microwave, mini fridge, and a coffee maker which was nice. They also do provide small pastries and coffee from 7:30 to 9am. We did not get to check out the pool unfortunately as we only stayed for one night but we do recommend and hope to stay here whenever we decide to come back to Ocean Shores!

It's practically shredded & you can barely read it. Took over an hour to get the tv working & when I asked for help at the front desk I was told "none of them work right. It's a known problem." I finally managed to switch the HDMI cable to another port to get something. When I went down to the hot tub the first guest I encountered asked me if my tv worked! I said "nope! It's a known problem!" The jets on the hot tub also didn't work, so we were just sitting in a bath tub basically. There's a Keurig in the room, but you only get one coffee pod to share. I went to ask for another tiny bar of soap since we used ours up, but they were out. They were also out of shampoo, so we had to use the shower gel for everything. The shower curtain is hung so that it barely touches the top of the tub, so water runs all over the floor when you shower. You can tell this has been an ongoing problem because the door jam is completely rusted. When I went to ask for more towels do soak up all the water on the floor, there were two other guests complaining about the same issue in their rooms. Seems like that would be an easy enough fix that could save some major repairs later..... The cherry on top was finding someone's vape pen in my bed.!!!! Hoping it belonged to the housekeeper who changed my sheets?! It was between the comforter & the duvet so that's what I'm telling myself..... that was a first for me.

Out of the blue she told me that they would "never" enter my room, because there's no maid service. Ok, not great, but I can deal. I immediately found a pair of dirty mens underwear behind the bathroom door. The clerk was embarrassed and apologetic, but it made me figure the room wasn't cleaned very well. Next I tried to sleep on the rock-hard bed. Not pleasantly firm, but hard, yet bouncy. Probably just an old old mattress. I hardly slept and woke up with back and hip pain. So I decided I would probably check out, even though I had paid for a second night. I put all my bags in the car and left, but I didn't turn in the key or speak to any employees. I thought I might go back to rest later. I came back four hours later to find my room being cleaned. I was shocked -- what happened to NEVER entering my room?! The same desk clerk came running out and said, "We thought you were finished with the room!". I asked why, when I had paid for two nights. I asked twice but she would not explain, just kept giggling, saying, "I'm so sorry!". So obviously they went into the room -- but why?! They explicitly said no maid service was offered.

She quoted me one price that seemed higher than it had been 2 years prior, but I agreed reluctantly. When I got there she wouldn't accept my card. Insisted on cash. I asked the amount I would need, and it was even more than she quoted over the phone. I grabbed my license and card off her desk and left. Never go there again. There's another cheap dive down the street that was cheaper and friendlier.

Everything in Ocean Shores is. The price was right for a huge condo, so we went for it. The condo featured a big kitchen that I was able to cook a full dinner in, a large living room with a television, and a huge wrap around deck with views of the water. We also had a bathroom with a full tub and a bedroom with two queen beds. The hotel also has a hot tub and pool. The pool isn't huge but the kids had a great time. They have a movie library where you can check out movies for your room which was appreciated since we couldn't figure out the cable whatsoever. Minor complaints: the cable as mentioned, the beds weren't super comfy, and the kitchen equipment was not in the best condition. That said, we made it all work. We'll definitely return!

All beds were cozy. Very short walk to the beach and a Mini Mart. The kitchen was stocked pretty well. There is a nice coffee pot but no coffee. However there is an awesome coffee shop a few steps away. Also just a few miles north is Ocean Crest Restaurant. We had an amazing Mom's day breakfast there. Can't wait to return. Next time we are going to Book side by side rooms on the 2nd floor so the whole Clan can come!!!

The outer portion of bathroom where the sink is, only has the cubbie. Initially that is filled with towels & bathrobes. The lack of a towel rack near the sink seems to be a growing trend at motels. What's with that? Otherwise, so far I've enjoy the in room Keurig coffee service and I'm impressed by the room's addition of wine glasses to the clear coffee cups & water glasses. The house was fully furnished for every use. We loved having the option to cool or dine. I love how quiet the neighborhood was. No one bothered us... we bothered no one. It was GREAT. Only downfall was that we showed up to the house with bags of trash that seem to have been forgotten and raccoons got to it. But josh who was on night duty helped us clean it out. He was very nice. Check in and checking out was easy. We didn't have to talk or see no one because a code to the door was provided. Instructions for the home was sent couple days prior to arrival. As much as I love this place I wouldn't be able to stay here as often as we'd like due to the fact that it's very expensive to stay here. So this is a treat if we ever get to do this again. I recommend trying this place out if you haven't already. Even if you just come down for a day trip. It is on the way towards ocean shore so if you can't find anything to do in town you can always head down that way.

I specifically used Seabrook's website filters to search for homes that were available on our dates and included a hot tub. When we checked in today, we were surprised to find there wasn't one. I immediately called Guest Services, expecting they would help resolve what appeared to be a booking or website error. Instead, I was essentially blamed for the mistake. I explained exactly how I had searched for the property, but the representative, who identified himself as Tylor, said that without proof there was nothing he could do. I work in marketing and sales, so I understand that websites and booking systems can occasionally have errors. What disappointed me most wasn't the mistake--it was the complete lack of effort to make it right. When guests are paying premium prices, customer service should focus on finding a solution, not assigning blame. To make matters worse, Tylor told me there were no other homes available with hot tubs, so moving us wasn't an option. Out of curiosity, I checked Seabrook's website myself while on the phone and found several available homes that listed hot tubs. Whether that was another website error or inaccurate information from Guest Services, I don't know. Either way, it only added to the frustration. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was told that Tylor was the supervisor. We've always enjoyed Seabrook, but this experience completely changed our perception. Mistakes happen. Great customer service is measured by how a company responds when they do. Unfortunately, Seabrook failed us on both the booking experience and the customer service, and they've lost our family's business.
