Well, so far so good. A Fuel station and little store next door. . Reception was a very nice and charming woman. Fully sold out on a Friday night. But this room is so minimalist. No Art, tiny wall tv. The Wi-Fi password is beyond complicated. I ll just go cell. Trains and announcement horns a block away. Hope it's only a couple tonight. Last one was a 1/2 hour ago. It will do but I wouldn't send family here. Update: The train runs behind the hotel. Maybe every 4 hours. And since there is a crossing with no guards the horn blow is long and slow. This is an older, updated motel. Our room had hardwood floors and was huge! The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and caring. They serve full breakfast. There is even a lovely laundry room for guests. You can't beat the value. read more

This inn was remodeled two years ago, already showing sign of wear. When I booked room pictures looked amazing but actual room was a bit less appealing. If you want a refrigerator and microwave you will want the queen room rate. The site does not say that and I was ticked off to find out my room did not without paying more for a queen room, I have never been in any motel, hotel or suite that did not have these items, I was told I had to walk across parking lot to get ice at gas station, show my room key and they fill bucket up, plum stupid! Rates in moderate charges should have all amenities here near room, recommend another stay elsewhere! That is unless you just want to sleep and shower. read more

Very Nice Hotel. The Hotel was right off the exit, very good location and the front desk Gal that checked me in was so friendly. My room was very roomy and very clean. Looks like they have been upgrading the rooms a bit. The breakfast had biscuits, gravy, and eggs It was like a breakfast buffet. My wife and I stayed over night in this hotel on January 30th. The train was loud, but we understood that was out of their control. However, cleanliness and pest control is well within the control of the hotel. We woke up early to catch a trip and as I was gathering our things I noticed there was a bug crawling on the pillow, I gently brushed it off to get a better look at what appeared to be a bed bug. I asked my wife to bring me a Kleenex and as I smashed it the belly was completely full of blood. As we were checking out I showed it to the young lady working the counter who seemed just as disgusted as we were and said she would have her manager call when she got in. The manager (Jenny) called and asked me about what had happened that afternoon so I explained it to her, she was very apologetic but claimed the owner had driven from Seattle to "tear the room apart, but was unable to find anything." So I forwarded her the picture and told her that I had smashed the bug then placed the bloody Kleenex in the trash. She told me that she would talk to the owner to see what she wanted to do, but they would most likely take care of our room and that I would be called back the following day. The day has passed without a call back and at this point I just feel like it's my obligation to review our experience with the bed bug because it is potentially a public health concern. We will NEVER be staying here again! read more

I checked in Lat at 9 pm. The room smelled STRONG of chemicals. There was no way I could tolerate it. The clerk came to the room and told us it would go away if we turned on the fan. She said they had done a deep cleaning because of covid. I waited outside for an hour with the fan on and the window and door open and found another place to stay. The smell never got better. There was a large wet spot on the carpet at the foot of the bed. I asked her why they don't leave the fans on after deep cleaning so the guests could breathe. She stated that she had no control over housekeeping and wouldn't be issuing a refund either. I went to the Stay Beyond in Elma 15 minutes away. It was very nice. read more

My oh my! Where do I begin? It's a very sketchy place. Lots of drug activity and rude customer service. My children and I stayed there while looking for a rental. Thank Gosh we found one. In between the stay (when we knew we had found it place) we called the girl named Katie. What a two faced liar. It was very disappointing because she was really who I thought was cool, as well, but by popular vote, not really. Not even the coworker's give her good props. Good luck finding the owner. He lives on the premises and owns the RV park and that Chevron beside both and he doesn't care how your stay is. I asked for my money back for remaining days, plus deposit. I never heard anything back. Just started getting a lot of hatred. The last two weeks there (since nobody contacted me about a refund) we used our own sheets. When they would bring them they'd throw them in the laundry (public) area without even a bag. During Covid.‍ No way were we doing that. Lock your doors and if you can look into the maintenance man. If you are going to the beach or traveling in the other direction try the hotels in Aberdeen or go into Olympia. Holiday inn express is awesome from what I've experienced before. They are in Lacey. Totally depends on your travel. Centralia has very nice places, too. Also, their "hot Continental" is sausage and eggs and what they try to pretend a biscuit every flipping day. Don't tell me biscuits and gravy and do that to me after I pay you the money. You can listen to this or not totally your decision.Jenny is nice, but it is fake, I think. Large standard room, very clean. Thought it was a little over priced but the only option for miles. Lots of rooms available when we couldn't find a campsite. Microwave, coffee pot, refrigerator all in the room. After hours check in too! The train woke us up twice! Once in the middle of the night and once just before 7am with the horn blowing and sounding like the tracks were coming straight through our room. We had no idea there was a train track nearby so it was very startling when it happened. Would have been nice to be notified at check in of the train schedule. This was one of the worst places I have ever stayed. Room was dirty, looked like it hasn't been deep cleaned in sometime. I pulled back bedding and several hair strands all over sheets, heater didn't work, just the AC did. Slept in my coat. Train tracks are literally right next to hotel and loud when the train goes by super early blaring its horn. Appears to be a "party" hotel, loud music most of night. I would have checked out immediately but it was 12am when I checked in for my 5 hour stay of zero sleep. Traveled for work not pleasure. Won't be back. read more

Suits are amazing size(enough room to play racketball) if you can deal with pubs and or beard hairs on the shower walls, slightly hanging on shower curtain rod and barely refilled travel sized body wash/ shampoos ..butttttttttt the breakfast is amazing !!! Honestly, after 10 days on the road and staying in many different hotels, our expectations weren't too good. We arrived very late around 11.30 pm, check-in was quick and easy. Our room was super spacious and outstandingly clean. But what really blew our socks off was breakfast. Our teenage son was in heaven. Toast, bagels, waffles, fruits, yogurt, eggs, sausages and a variety of drinks and more. Everything is nicely organized and clean! In case you need to wash your clothes after hiking; there is a washing machine too. Don't think twice. You won't regret it! read more

If I could give less than a full star I absolutely would. Everything from setting up the booking and being charged for 2 separate reservations to being insulted and belittled when trying to cancel the reservation. If I lived anywhere near Washington I would contact the city council. The people running this hotel are atrocious. My mother and I were supposed to make a 23 day trip from Florida to Washington for my cousins graduation from high school and college. We met unfortunate circumstances when my mother fell. After calling and spending multiple hours on the phone with workers and supervisors, they agreed to cancel BOTH the reservations (mind you we only set up one) without charge. They said all they needed was a "doctors note" and they would take care of it. Well because I made the reservation in my name they're saying they now refuse to cancel it free of charge since I was not the one to get injured. So now my almost 70 year old mother has to go to the bank and discuss it with them, with a broken hip. What a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I would absolutely not suggest this place to anyone. We have stayed here a couple of times while visiting family in the area. Showers and laundry are new. Unfortunately they do not provide cable tv to the sites. When I was here last year I was told that cable was coming. Not so much it turns out. I have not stayed in a park that costs this much without cable in years. Would love to give a good review as the rooms seemed to be well kept and quiet. Great for an unplanned stop with the exception of the housekeeper just opening our door at 10 am with no knocking or announcing herself as I was stepping out of the shower. Now for the worst part, I paid 65.00 for the room and 3 days later encountered an additional charge for 271.00 on my card. When I called about it they said there was smoking in the room. I told them impossible since I am allergic. So then they changed their story to one of the bedspreads had ink on it and it wouldnt come out so they had to charge me for it. I asked them to show me the bedspread and they wouldnt, saying "it was tossed in the garbage" so unless you want to pay 271.00 for a 50.00 bedspread that was never damaged in the first place I would keep driving read more

do not book here. i have stayed here 3 times in the last 4 months. i was overcharged $40 the 1st time, $60 the 2nd time. im here for memorial weekend for 3 nights. i was charged $315 for 3 nights. they then charged me another $232.44 on my card. i went in this morning & they blamed it on booking.com. i called booking and they did not charge this but it was monte guest house inn that billed me. i asked them to correct this. they then said they have a middle man and they cant fix it and i need to talk to my bank. im now out $600 dollars on a holiday weekend. banks are not open until tuesday. this is fraud. the owners are rude and dishonest...oh and theifs. i will be turning them into the better business bureau. the housekeeping staff is amazing though. stay anywhere else!!! read more

For the price, can not beat it. The continental breakfast was the best I have seen out of any Hotel/Motel. The gals that run the kitchen (appears to be mother and daughter team) they do a great job, they run a tight ship there during breakfast, a bit overbearing but it was entertaining to watch them get onto people who cant read signs to use the tongs to grab food products :) you get'em ladies. read more

After a full day of traveling we needed a place to rest for the night. So glad to find this place. It was easy to find and the young gentleman behind the desk was very friendly and accommodating. When we got to the room we needed more bath towels, so wracked the frontdesk and he was at our door within 5 kin with our towels in arm. The room is very spacious, it housed 2 (very comfortable) queen beds, a mini fridge, a mini coffee maker,a microwave, flat screen tv, a spacious bathroom which was very clean (no hairdryer, we brought our own so we didn't bother contacting the front desk). In the morning we enjoyed the delicious and expansive breakfast, biscuits with gravy, seasoned potatoes, sausage links, numerous fruit options, breads, pastries, and waffle iron. Coffee and ice were available (for free) at the gas station next door (wasn't an inconvenience at all). I would definitely stay here again, and recommend to others. read more

The staff here are AMAZING! When my daughter's stuffed animal came up missing, they went the extra mile to find it after we had checked out - to the point of looking through the laundry and the garbage! They were kind enough to mail it back to our home upon finding it. Prompt and polite, we were immediately helped when we requested additional towels, a hair dryer, and other extras. The room was clean and breakfast was great. Lots of choices with pillows so you can find the one that you like the best. The only downside is the train coming through at night. This is a well-run place and I'll stay here again next time I'm in the area. read more
