So posting this in both areas. Similar issues to below review. He solicited us back in June. We usually get seal coating done in the fall but were having out of town guests and thought it would be nice to have the driveway look nice when our company arrived. So agreed to have him come out. He tried coming out 2 times with rain in the forecast and I refused his service. He told me at that time "I stand behind my work if I come out and it rains and washes it away I will come back out and re-do the driveway" On June 14, 15 he call unexpectedly at 2pm said he was in the area and was coming over. We agreed as it was sunny out however we had to leave before he was finished and (my mistake paid him). when we left he was about 3/4's of the way complete. While we were gone a sudden very intense storm came thru our area. We returned home in the rain, to black water running off our driveway as well as splattering on the siding of our home. The next morning I called Ed who said he was booked for the next few days would call back. I mentioned to him I'd like to get it done before our company he said no problem. A few more calls. No appointment scheduled. Until he called when my company was in two for 2 weeks. So I refused him to come out to redo the driveway until they left. Well you probably guess the rest of the story I have left messages at both numbers since the 3rd week in July. Did get a worker to answer once who said he'd give him my message. Also did get him to answer one evening and said "Oh I thought we did that already" and I reminded him of our previous phone calls, he told me "I'll call you next week. I'm going to be in your area" Well by now you can guess I have never heard from him. Last week I called his numbers everyday from my numbers as well as friends numbers to no avail he will not answer his phones. So my advise to anyone is beware he does offer a good price BUT... HE DOES NOT STAND BEHIND HIS WORD -- HE NOT AN HONORABLE BUSINESSMAN. I guess return business and word of mouth referrals are useless to him. He has enough of us suckers out there to just get new clients every season. Wish I could post pictures and his flier!

Let's start with the fact that I didn't even hire this company or need any tree service but yet I…read moream writing a review to voice my displeasure. That should indicate my feelings towards Trees Plus. My new neighbors hired this company to take down a few large trees in our shared alley. First, they never knocked on the door or anything to tell us they would be completely blocking our car in the garage for consecutive days in a row. Fine, thats whatever don't be considerate thats okay. BUT the reason I am writing this review is because they took down the huge trees, which left many large branches on our roofs and one of the branches ripped our extra room roofing causing a leak into ur laundry room. We have lived here many months and never had an issue with roof leaking, we called out a contractor too see why the roof was leaking and lone behold he showed us the rip. My wife contacted Trees Plus and they said that nothing came close to our house and that there was no they did anything wrong. Which is interesting seeing that if you just ignore that dozens of branches they left on our roof, the debris from cutting down the trees clogged our gutters on that side of the roof, they used our window seals as cup holders for their lunch drinks, and the main contractors son walked all over our flowers killing those too. So it really seems that not only were you close to our property, but you were clearly on it. A couple hundred dollar fix, and I didn't even need any tree service. Thanks Trees Plus for you lack of professionalism and for taking no responsibility. Needless to say, we wont be recommending this company to anyone.

These guys are the best! My AC was blowing warm air and my husband was at work. I researched mailers, yelp reviews, and called a couple of heating and air conditioning services. I'm calling the advertised after 24 hour emergency phone lines and leaving messages with no reply. Finally, Windy City Mechanical answers the phone and inform me they could send someone out. Luckily, the guy lives right around the corner and is there in minutes. He walks up introduce himself and proceeds to inspect my AC unit. We go in the house and he informs me of the options available. He sat in my house for an hour sweating bullets with no complaint or discomfort answering all my questions and my husband's via phone. My husband and I decided to replace the entire AC unit for various reasons including the age of the unit. Tom educated me on our options and explained the units fairly and without bias towards a more expensive unit. As a matter of fact, he determined we didn't need the larger unit we currently had and a smaller (less expensive) unit would suffice. Nevertheless, his guys were there the next morning to replace our AC unit. They were prompt, professional, and efficient. I would highly recommend Windy City Mechanical they gave us a great deal!

When I asked what Windy City was going to do about it, you said nothing. That's when I got upset. And why on earth would I take any of your calls AFTER you had said your company was going to do NOTHING. This conversation is over. You and your company have a long way to go with customer service.
