I began this journey in my late twenties because my wisdom teeth had come in very late. I chose to work with Thurman for two reasons. First, there were free AirPods offered, with Christmas right around the corner. Second, I needed to fix one discolored tooth, which was only possible if my wisdom teeth were extracted and my teeth were straightened. My siblings had a pleasant experience with Thurman, while I had a somewhat okay one. It wasn't perfect, but any issues were corrected in the most professional way in the end. Let me start with the establishment. It is an attractive place--very roomy, comfortable, and, to say the least, very clean. Now, regarding the owner: I had zero issues communicating with Thurman; he's a very nice guy. However, I didn't see him often because he tends to every person there, which was fine. His occasional appearances did not impede my dental journey, as he provides the final evaluation. The finance department was very communicative regarding my payments and also quite nice. However, one day during a visit, I had an uncomfortable conversation with one staff member. As I sat in the chair during a follow-up, I was told--not nicely--that the Invisalign treatments would be my last new set. My year-and-a-half-long journey had extended to three and a half years, and let's face it, we're all human, and things happen. I probably had four to five new sets of aligners, one of which stemmed from a chipped tooth that affected one of these sets. I opted for Invisalign because I create a lot of social media content and work with major brands like Sephora and Ulta, but I must share that Invisalign is not for the weak. They are mandatory to wear almost 24 hours a day. Unfortunately, this did not work out for me. Because of this, I started avoiding my appointments altogether. My stubborn tooth just wouldn't budge. I went back to some previous trays on my own, as I had it in my mind that these "were the last sets of aligners," and I wanted to avoid any more uncomfortable situations. This was a reasonable outcome from my decision to ghost Thurman, but I received a letter stating that I needed to find a new orthodontist (no complaints). I reached out to the finance department because I had paid for my Invisalign in full and wanted to request a partial refund for my permanent retainer (the one you receive upon completing the Invisalign journey). I was tossed around on calls for part of the day- not long and eventually, I spoke with a very nice supervisor who had a heart-to-heart with me. She seemed to understand the issues I was facing with the Invisalign and my disappointment about having a stubborn tooth that just wouldn't cooperate. I was encouraged to come back in and not to worry; Thurman would take it from there. I had a very pleasant experience recently, and Thurman agreed that my teeth wouldn't require another set of aligners, as I had tried it multiple times without achieving the expected results, although I did show some improvement. I transitioned into braces almost abruptly and will now be on them for two months to correct my stubborn tooth. If it doesn't improve in that time, I may need them for up an additional two months. Fortunately, I'm not creating content as much as I was when I started this journey, but I am very satisfied with the level of care I received from Thurman, his team leaders, and how they listened to my concerns. That is the reason for my rating today. Thank you.

My process of aligning my teeth took a lot longer than expected-due to my own financial limitations, plus needing jaw surgery and two teeth implants. There were definitely moments where it felt overwhelming, but I never once felt rushed or pressured into making decisions. Dr. Salmassian was incredibly patient and supportive the entire time. He even helped me find full coverage for my jaw surgery, which made such a huge difference for me and lifted some weight off my shoulders. Every step of the way, he took the time to explain things clearly and made sure I felt comfortable-no question ever felt "silly" to ask and any areas of discomfort/adjustment were taken seriously! His team is just as amazing! Any day I came in, they always made me feel welcome and remembered--from complimenting my outfit to asking about how school and my teaching training were going. It never felt like I was just "another appointment", which is a feeling many are used to at other offices. I can tell they have a passion for what they do and love where they work. Even though my journey took longer than expected, they stayed patient, kind, and encouraging the whole way through. And now, I finally feel confident in my smile again. I didn't even realize how much I used to hide it until I caught myself laughing WITHOUT covering my smile--something I hadn't done in years... I'm so grateful to Dr. Salmassian and his entire team for giving me that confidence back. Truly, thank you for your time, care, and dedication! :)

It honestly felt more like a spa for your dental needs. From the moment we walked in, everyone was kind, welcoming, and genuinely seemed happy to be there. You can tell they have a positive work environment, and it really shows in the way they treat their patients. I had the pleasure of speaking with Jess at the front desk. I had some confusion about the cost breakdown and she took the time to explain everything clearly. Dental costs and insurance can be confusing, so I really appreciated how patient she was and how easy she made the process. During my visit, I had a deep cleaning and some fillings done. My hygienist, Monica, was so gentle and reassuring. She knew I was anxious and checked in throughout my cleaning to make sure I was comfortable. Dr. Oh was wonderful. He's personable, thorough, and takes the time to answer all of your questions. Kevin, who assisted during my fillings, was also kind and helpful. I never felt rushed, and everyone made me feel comfortable throughout my appointment. My husband also had a great experience with his deep cleanings and fillings. The care itself was excellent, and he was happy with his treatment. I also appreciated the little touches that made the experience feel different from a typical dental visit. They have TVs above the chairs so you can watch a movie or show while getting work done, and they even give you a warm towel afterward that smelled like peach mango. It was such a nice touch. The only feedback I have is more about the office operations than the dental care itself. My husband's scheduling felt a bit disorganized. He received multiple calls asking to reschedule his appointments. On the day of his last visit, he was also asked to come in earlier and had his hygienist changed at the last minute. His appointment still went well, but the scheduling process could definitely be smoother. I would also recommend keeping track of your remaining balance when checking out. On separate visits, both my husband and I were initially quoted a higher remaining balance than what we actually owed. It was corrected once we brought it up, but since it happened to both of us, I think it's something the office could improve. Overall, we've had a really positive experience and this has definitely become our new dentist office. Thank you to Dr. Oh and the entire team for making something I usually dread feel much less stressful.
