When it came time to empty my washer a kind stranger volunteered to give me a hand because I was wearing my sleeping infant daughter in a sling and awkwardly working around her. So kind. It's busy in here but no one seems grouchy about waiting, and most people will meet my eyes and smile back. I like that there are different washer and dryer types to choose from (there are both front load and top load washers, and some great big and some regular sized) and that the larger machines accept payment from cards. I love that there are live plants inside, what a nice touch! My only note about how the environment could be improved is that it could maybe use a couple more chairs and that the chairs would benefit from someone taking a magic eraser to them. Everything else in here is grunge free and looks very clean and well cared for! It's summer time now and it is a little warm in here, though. There is one fan running near the front to help but fair warning, you'll likely start sweating while you wait for your laundry. Overall I'm having a very pleasant experience and am grateful. I honestly wanted to leave after she called me hon and told me they don't keep any cash on hand for security purposes when I asked if she could make change for a $10. She also watched me load a washer and yelled to me from her desk that it wasn't all going to fit. I understand she was trying to make sure no one overloads the machines but it just seemed like I was being closely monitored and judged the whole time I was there. The different types and charges for all the machines can get a bit confusing and overwhelming if you don't frequent laundromats. They do have a nice seating area with a tv. All in all, it does the job but I probably won't be back and it probably wouldn't be my first recommendation to friends.

This is in Whitehall people, nobody around here has that kind of money to do laundry! I had another load to do but since the first one took all my quarters I put it back in the car. What a rip. I'm going from loyal customer here to never coming back. I had slowly stopped coming to the clintonville coin-op when I noticed a decline in their cleanliness shortly after they reopened. I started visiting other laundromats. I came back to give coin-op a try again and I'm disgusted to see they haven't improved their cleaning at all. This is the inside of the first machine I stopped at, 45 minutes into the day's opening, with the attendant chilling at the desk. So I skip the machine and go check some others. Checked at least four other machines. Each one was filthy. Dog hair, lint, gunk, coins, KIBBLE?? I found the cleanest one I could and wiped out the inside as much as I was able (it was still pretty grimy). Honestly I regret doing that wash. When it was over, I ended up just grabbing the 'clean' clothes and the rest of my clothes and putting them back in my car. No idea where I'm going to wash them next, but it's definitely not here. This place really used to be my favorite, but they need to seriously implement some stronger cleaning protocols and follow up on them.
