I scheduled this truck a month in advance for an entire day, but couldn't do business with them due to the owner's attitude. Issues arised all of a sudden the day before the event. Shannon (the owner) changed prices, wouldn't take my calls or call me back and said she had new contracts for me out of the blue at 830pm the night before. She unapologetically conducted herself in an extremely unprofessional manner. When I called to book another ice cream truck, I described my terrible experience. After describing the issue, the other ice cream truck ALREADY KNEW who I had dealt with! "That must have been Shannon with Snow Dog!?" I ended up having to postpone my event for weeks, however I was MORE than happy to pay $200 additional dollars to the next truck, in order to avoid doing business with Snow Dog. read more

Really lovely truck. I met this girl one nite at The Contemporary Arts Museum and I felt as though her truck might be a portal to another dimension. Her truck was lit up like a Xmas tree, it was an icy bit of fun for me and everyone else around. Bubbles abounded from the inside of her truck out into the nite sky as music played. We had scheduled a neighborhood event with this truck in April when the world basically fell apart. We rescheduled it for today and it was great! She had a bubble machine and a robot arm to deliver the ice cream. She was great with very young kids when using her own bubbles for a show. I would highly recommend her! This past weekend we had Snowdog Ice Cream come for our daughter's 4 year old birthday. The whole experience exceeded our expectations! The kids (ages 1-14) couldn't get enough of it, and it was so perfect that Shannon brought out tools to make giant bubbles as well as the largest parachute I've ever seen for the kids to play with. She also had noise makers, bubble guns, bouncy balls, and all the toys every kid could want. Plus, the grown-ups were able to try not only their childhood favorite ice cream, but adult gourmet flavors too. Who doesn't love good old fashion ice cream trucks unless you are lactose intolerant or have another allergy? I have meet this lovely lady that runs this truck now twice, and was very happy for A) this is Houston and tasty cold treats are always welcome, and B) I loved watching the way she interacted with her customers especially the kids. Snowdog made my twin daughters 6th bday party! She rolled up at dusk and 10 screaming girls were in the front yard waiting for Miles and Ms. Shannon! They wanted a puppy dog theme slumber party so what more perfect than adding this to the night!?! It was so darling and definately an original bday party idea!
