This is THE perfect place to bring your energetic kid(s). Even as a an adult touching/feeling the different types of slime was rewarding (mentally) haha. My nephew, who is 5, thoroughly enjoyed his time at sloomoo and spoke about it the whole car ride!

Took my 6 year old here for a fun out of town activity and wow! Very pleasantly surprised. This was a very interactive and fun experience for the slime obsessed. Staff is friendly, and there are multiple hand wash stations and wipe stations all throughout the experience which made us feel much better about hands being in slime etc. You get to go at your own pace, experience different versions of slime (I truly did not know there was that many ways to make slime), and lots of opportunity for slime play and interaction. There wasn't a long wait and even busy, we didn't feel it throughout our experience. And of course, the best part is you get to make your own slime and take it home which was so much fun. Would definitely recommend!

Great place for small kids. Was fun, well organized, and a little gross (in a good way). That musical part was just like Singing Monsters game!

5 Star Slime Show! Unbeatable Interactive Fun at Sloomoo Institute Wow! Sloomoo Institute is a 5 star experience that totally blew my mind. I like many assumed it would be a nice but fairly standard children's museum concept. Instead what I found was an entirely unique and cleverly designed attraction I've never seen before. From the moment you walk in the whole experience is interactive. Unlike places where you feel rushed or just observe Sloomoo encourages you to get hands on at your own pace. No pressure, plenty of time to fully immerse yourself in each exhibit and enjoy the sensory journey. But the real star of the show is the slime and it's nothing like you'd expect. Forget the generic mass produced slimes, Sloomoo's slimes are a sensory journey in themselves. I was blown away by the variety. Some were super wet and squishy, almost liquid like, and squelchy. Others were dry and stringy and completely different and just as interesting. Clearly a lot of thought and creativity went into these unique concoctions. And then there's the best bit, making your own custom slime. This is a great souvenir and a big part of the fun. Sloomoo Institute is truly one of a kind and innovative fun. It's a place that sparks curiosity and genuine joy and proves interactive experiences can be both clever and totally fun. If you're looking for something different and fun I can not recommend Sloomoo Institute enough. 5 stars!

So fun! Both my 19 year old and 9 year old had a great time! The cost was reasonable enough for over an hour of slime filled fun! The Houston area is a great setting for some fun or dining afterwards (Houston Marq'E). Mom and dad are very happy the kids were off their electronics during winter break!

Had the opportunity to visit Sloomoo while visiting family in town for the holidays. Firstly, I couldn't get the Groupon too work. So went ahead and paid. I noticed that the cost of admission shifts from day to day and hour to hour. For example, I priced out the day prior and it was cheaper. Figured I would grab Groupon before I entered as I wasn't quite sure of day and time we were going to go as you have to pick a time slot amd with Houston traffic I wasn't sure. When attempting to purchase Groupon, it wouldn't work, said deal was no longer avaible when I went to make payment. So I purchased tickets while at sloomoo counter and it jumped up by a few dollars. I paid because my nephew really wanted to experience it. Overall he had a great time but I feel as though the admission cost is not worth the experience. $46.99 for all. I think the price for children should be a bit higher than adults because they make the slime but it was all the same cost. I see why it wasn't too crowded, it's unaffordable. Overall my nephew enjoyed the experience of touching slime throughout the exhibit but it doesn't justify the cost to me. Btw thw store clerk said the manager doesn't honor Groupons sometimes and will make people pay again. I'm glad she told me that!

Invited to a party here, and we had a grand old time. The kids made scented slime, played in mounds of slime, got slimed, splattered slime on windows. The kids got to walk in the slime pool. They had the time of their lives. Definitely will be back!

Great experience for kids to be hands on. This place is super clean and the wait was not long. You can go as fast or as slow as you would like.

My nieces and nephew had the best time here. It was easy to make a reservation and get tickets online. We got there 10 minutes before our reservation time, and made sure all the waivers were signed. They ask you to watch a video before exploring and wash your hands. Before you go through the slimes, they have a fun activity where you change your vowels to "oo"s and the kids absolutely loved it. Before you explore the different rooms, they have you use hand sanitizer. The kids loved smelling the different textures of slime, and playing with the slime wall. There is a fun interactive screen where you can answer questions to figure out who your slime character is. They also have a slingshot where you can sling slime, and hit a glass. They have a fun interactive, dance room, kinetic sand, and another room to explore slime as well as make cards. We went during the holidays so we were able to make paper ornaments for a Christmas tree. The fun part came where the kids got to make their own slime by sniffing the smell wall and picking their own color. They also got to pick charms. I wasn't sure if my nieces were going to want to get slimed on, but when we were there one of my nieces wanted to. So we were able to pay for that feature and they were able to get suited up and get slimed on. They absolutely loved it . I wish I remembered the employees name that did the sliming, but we went on a Friday, December 13 at 11 AM. She was great, and my niece loved her. After we did the slime, we went to the sound room. At the end they were able to play and walk on slime for five minutes before we left. I felt like we were there for a while.. definitely over an hour and a half, and it was just so much fun. I would definitely take them back! I originally thought the price was high, but you get a slime package to go so it's all really worth it!

Family fun. I visited with my son and it's a whole world of slime -- slime rain, walking on slime, playing with it, and feeling all its textures. You can even make your own! Super fun for kids and adults, and the place is clean and well-kept.

Experience was quite interactive Touch and feel different varieties of slime And at the end, you can pick one of the varieties of slime, pick a scent, and pick a color to take home I was quite surprised that I liked the experience and would not mind coming back to take my kid

The displays had these strategic steps for even the littlest scientists

Go visit NOW! We were pleasantly surprised with how much Sloomoo had to offer! What a great experience for all ages. The staff was very friendly and the establishment very clean. The details are worth applauding. Loved learning and reading about how each display of slime was created. I'm definitely recommending this place! Woohoo! PS- Sloomoo Falls was a MUST! (Anything for my kids)

One of the BEST experiences I could have ever had! The kids had so much fun and making the slime was such a cool project!

4 stars? Let me tell you why…read more We've been visiting The Woodlands Children's Museum regularly for the past couple of years, and overall it's been a solid experience for younger kids. It's a well-managed space that's clearly designed for structured, imaginative play rather than chaos. If you know what to expect, it can be a great outing. Pros: * The location right off The Woodlands Parkway makes it easy to get to without going far out of the way. * The museum is the perfect size--big enough to keep kids engaged, but not overwhelming for parents or little ones. * They host multiple events throughout the month, which helps keep things interesting beyond a standard visit. * Being able to host birthday parties here is a big plus and very convenient. * Pricing feels fair for what's offered, especially compared to larger, more crowded children's attractions. Cons: * The layout doesn't change very often; in two years, I've only seen one noticeable update, which can make repeat visits feel a bit repetitive. * Parking can be frustrating since the lot is shared with a large gym, especially during peak hours. * The shopping center itself is pretty outdated and could really use a remodel, which affects the overall experience. * This is not the place for very hyper kids who need to run freely--everything is more controlled and calm. * There are no concessions, and outside food or drinks aren't allowed, which can be inconvenient for longer visits. Overall, this museum is a great option for younger children who enjoy hands-on, imaginative play in a calm environment. It's affordable, well-located, and thoughtfully run, but best suited for kids who do well with structure. We'll continue to visit, just not expecting major changes each time.

We've only been here one so far, but we really liked it…read more Specifically, we came because we were in the woodlands area for my daughter's birthday and so we thought it would be fun for her to play somewhere while there. I usually buy The Woodlands Children Museum membership with her birthday money, but we wanted to try someplace new. They do not have a membership, but they do have a punch card, which I thought I would consider purchasing for her birthday gift if she liked the place. My favorite thing about here is that they have age limits and they don't charge if you're over the age limit or younger than the age limit. This was perfect because although I had my older daughter with me, she sat in the corner on her phone the entire time so I would have been more annoyed if I had to pay for her. My son, who also aged out, came in later and played for a couple of minutes with his younger sister, but was ready to leave and get snacks quickly. So I am happy that I would not have to pay for the children that don't actually enjoy being there and have to come with their siblings haha. I wish the woodland's children museum, including others, would adopt that philosophy. Having said that, the videos that I saw online made it seem like it was a larger place than it is. It's probably around less than half the size of the woodlands children museum. They mostly just had everyday toys over there and tiny little rooms that I couldn't really maneuver with my stroller. I was surprised to see that they got busy pretty quick. I would expect a location to be larger if they had more patrons coming. I will have to say, I wish they had a couch or nice seating for the adults who were all pretty much just standing around or following their children. My daughter was able to do the slime for her birthday and I purchased another slime for my older daughter to do which was the only thing that she actually liked ( the older one I mean... the younger one had fun with everything). I will have to say, the girl who was working there, I wanna say that her name was Callie or something (sorry I forgot), was very helpful and made the slime fun for my daughter. She let my daughters choose the different colors and the sprinkles that went in. As long as my children enjoy it, that's literally all I care about. So even though I thought it was pretty small, and wish they had better seating, I will be coming back.

It appeared there was only one person working, and she could have used a little help. Nevertheless, she did a good job, and was helpful and friendly. It would be nice if there was just a little more room. But that didn't stop the kids from having a good time. The different areas were all a big hit, such as the food truck, the office, the vet area to name a few. The kids moved from one area to another with no issues and enjoyed them all.
