The inside of the restaurant is so classy and gorgeous! The staff were super nice and helpful. Since we'd eaten at the movie theater, we came over just for drinks and a dessert. However, my husband did order the truffle beef sliders and he enjoyed them. A great place to visit and dine in if you're a local or just there for the weekend.

Came here for my husband's birthday and it did not disappoint! Service was friendly, knowledgeable and the atmosphere is beautiful, upscale and relaxing! Two MUST-TRY's: the lobster bisque and the Parker Rolls with the Bacon Jam!! Such a fun night out! This place would be perfect for a girls brunch too as I hear they're popular for! Oh and top your meal off with the mascarpone cheesecake

I came in on the Friday before Valentine's Day with my best friend. We had reservations and were seated right away. The restaurant was packed and you could barely move without touching the person next to you. I ordered a key lime martini that was delicious. Next we ordered a few appetizers. The devil eggs, shrimp cocktail, avocado martini , and oysters. All the apps were delicious, except the oysters that were thin and watery. We ended our meal with chocolate cake. Overall great place if they don't overcrowd the place

    1. Service - wait staff are attentive and friendly. You can come with or without a reservation. Check in with the hostess at the front before being seated. This is a la carte. So order and pay at the table. Restrooms are outside the restaurant, but on the same floor, just on the way to the theater. 2. Price - main Entree can range between $18-$62 a plate. 3. Ambiance - this is an intimate setting, quiet, and classy. Dress code here is between business casual to semi formal, depending on the occasion. Definitely a nice place for a date. Decor is upscale and gorgeous. It has a Baroque ambiance. 4. Food - We had their LOBSTER ROLL and the CHARCUTERIE ON SUNSET the first time. The Lobster roll was amazing and so refreshing as it should be. The Charcuterie was a good appetizer to share. The second time we were there, we had their AUDREY BURGER and their TRUFFLE BURGER. Of the two burgers, I prefer the Audrey burger as it was tastier with lettuce and tomatoes. 5. Cleanliness - dining area is neat, clean, and orderly. Place mats at every table with silverware already placed. No dirty plates in sight. Restrooms are a bit dark, but are clean as well. SUMMARY: Both of my visits were nice. I would definitely come back for a special occasion. The food is not bad. I highly recommend this place!

Super chic and unique restaurant concept. I was immediately taken with the modern decor and their dine-in movie concept, as it shares the space with Reel Luxury Cinemas. Our waiter was very attentive, friendly, and knowledgable about the menu. The service was overall very accurate but very very slow- long moments stretched between courses- but I suspected it was intentional, to allow my friends and I to enjoy the courses and each other's company. For my appetizer I got the lobster bisque, which was was super creamy with large chunks of real lobster and served with a warm Parker roll. For my entree I had the truffle mushroom ravioli as my entree, and it was cooked well and had strong truffle flavor. As a table, we shared the tuna avocado martini, and this one really stood out to me in terms of freshness and flavor- I would order this again. Glad I had a chance to finally try this restaurant after walking past it on Market Street for a few years. I don't see myself going out of my way to dine here, but I look forward to enjoying a nice experience if I do. - Ambiance: 5/5 - Food: 3.5/5 - Service: 5/5

Wifey and I have been to the Audrey before for dinner but we never tried out the movie theater. It was a good experience for the most part. The movie did start about 30 mins late seems some technical issue. Once the movie got going it great. Food was good I had the mini burgers and an old fashioned. The seats were very comfy. I would check it out for the experience.

My favorite part of the meal.

We came in for reservations to celebrate our anniversary for restaurant week! Just a little disappointed in the taste of the food. Maybe it was an off Friday. Our waiter Daniel has exceptional customer service! Every staff member here is attentive, friendly and welcoming. Restaurant week is the perfect time to try their menu and glad that we did even though we didn't enjoy our meals. They tried to fix the entree, but it still tasted dried. My entree was incredibly salty. I would have to give the restaurant week menu a generous 7.

Visited The Audrey for our anniversary. We always enjoy the food and service as ambience is wonderful. Lobster bisque could have more lobster but was tasty. The rolls are always amazing!! Short rib and potatoes are a favorite for us. Of course cheesecake is one of my favorite desserts. The Audrey makes a great cheesecake.

When we entered, the hosts did not greet us and were very unfriendly and bored. Our server also seemed bored but got progressively nicer as there were more problems with the meal...the two appetizers were good, if a little bland. For mains, we ordered the boneless half chicken...only to find one large bone and one pin bone in the chicken. We also ordered the shrimp and crab scampi only to find that they had... forgotten to put the crab in it. When speaking to the manager, he informed us that the boneless chicken did come with the wing bone, boneless just means that "pin bones are removed." But evidently, the pin bones were not removed. Both meals were fine but not special in taste, a bit bland and also small portions. I understand that it is just a restaurant attached to a movie theater, but the quality of the food and service is not commensurate with the price. Hefty sum. However, the atmosphere is nice and the details are pretty. TLDR; just go see a movie there and skip dinner

Had dinner here recently with my sister and we were both impressed. The truffle Hamachi was insanely good - sharp and clean but also really smooth, and the truffle flavor hit just right without being too much. We also ordered the baked feta, a big creamy pot of baked feta chunks with warm bread for dipping. But we did not have enough bread for the amount of baked feta dip. We shared one portion of the salmon entree, and it ended up being just the right amount for the two of us. The salmon was cooked medium rare, exactly how we asked for it, super tender and flavorful. The sides of mashed potatoes and broccoli were simple but really well done and paired perfectly with the fish. Overall, it was a great experience and we're already looking forward to coming back to try more of the menu

This restaurant is trying hard to be very upscale, and it IS very pleasant looking, light and airy, kudos to the decor and general layout. (It is an "ultra luxury" movie theater as well) To this end, they have a very professional head waiter and host, but where they fall down from that 5-star set up is the line servers. They have adopted the modern practice of dividing up the waiter's job so that one person takes the order, another delivers the food, and maybe someone else takes empty plates or checks on you. In theory, that works efficiently--in practice, we got food without silverware, plates delivered to the wrong person (they tried to deliver food to us bound for another table), and drinks and coffee remained unfilled. Not for this money, for this money, you have to do it right. Two people in our party had plates that included the grits, but neither of us enjoyed them.

Had an amazing dinner here. We made a reservation as it was a Saturday night. Our waiter was very attentive. Everything we ordered was perfect! The presentation of the oysters was especially stunning! We can't wait to come back the next time we are in Houston.

Let's talk about the Ambiance first! Dining here you feel like royalty! From the amazing chandeliers and views (big windows) to the bucket sofa chairs and the beautiful table setting. Not to mention how awesome their restrooms are. I love me a good bathroom mirror selfie and trust me, it's not just an over the sink mirror, a full sized mirror that was awesome! (Other than the lighting being alittle too dull for my pics but I just turned my flash on!) Now to the food. We went here a year ago for my husband's birthday dinner. Everything was amazing! Honestly I don't remember the names of all we ordered but I know everything was delicious *chefs kiss*. I had to tell the waiter to give compliments to the chef! The drinks... If it's pretty I'll have it! I told the waiter to give me something cute and she delivered! My husband had an old fashioned whiskey which he enjoyed. Our host made sure to ask all the necessary questions while taking our orders and gave us a really nice service. We are planning on going back for our anniversary this year.

Service was fantastic with our server (Will) being very knowledgeable and friendly. Drinks and food arrived quickly and were fantastic - the drinks were on point, the food ample in quantity and flavorful in taste. The Fudgy Brownie was divine! Well-done! [EDIT only to correct to "Postino"]…read more I use the one-stars sparingly, I really do. This has nothing to do with the food, as we never got that far in the course of my miserable experience at this location (not sure if it's a chain or not). Walked into a relatively quiet restaurant somewhat later in the evening after strolling a bit in the summer Houston heat around the Woodlands. A couple of people recommended Postino. The issue arose when I asked for a possible menu modification. Specifically, I was trying to avoid GOAT CHEESE on the meatball dish I had my eyes on (which otherwise looked pretty tempting). The server indicated that they probably couldn't do it but I nevertheless requested this... a couple of minutes later the server returned with the bad news. Apparently, it simply had to be served as-is, according to the menu. This in itself wouldn't have got me to the point of writing this review. However, I, incredulous, was kind of laughing (you have to laugh) and said something like "so I can only order exactly what's on the menu, and the kitchen can't do anything different?" (slight paraphrasing, perhaps). There wasn't much further conversation with the server but within about 30 seconds of this exchange, a "manager" stormed over to the table and borderline-abusively shouted "is there a problem?!". This "mini-manager" as I will refer to her, proceeded to inform me that they could NOT accommodate changes because it would "violate the integrity of the restaurant" ... I of course I also found a bit humorous, and in this state inquired further about what sense it made to be so obnoxiously strict for someone just trying to grab a quick bite about 30 minutes before closing. I'm sensitive to the work involved in running restaurants and serving obnoxious customers, but I was NOT rude, obnoxious, or difficult. Just blown away by this treatment. I was then informed by the mini-manager that she was from LONDON which I assume meant I should accept that her cosmopolitan background and (I assume vast and high-level culinary experience) meant that I should shut my trap and stop being so picky. At this point I was compelled to mention that I, too, grew up overseas and was very surprised at this complete lack of flexibility. Within another 30 seconds or so of this dialogue, the mini-manager tipped the menu over on the table and abruptly shouted, "you know what, I'm refusing you service!" That made it all easy from there as we promptly (while laughing, partly out of shock) exited the facility. Huge disappointment and embarrassing in my view for a restaurant that seems otherwise to have maintained a great reputation - and especially so for the fact that service (and people in general) in Houston tend to be kind and accommodating, not typically RUDE or reactionary. I'm encouraging this restaurant to have a look at the service model. I can't say I'll try Postino again the next time I'm in Houston, but I certainly hope it continues to truly earn its 4.5 star rating, 'cause they sure did NOT when I was there this weekend.

As this is basic Spanish food cooking technique is paramount and current chef clearly does not understand/have skills. The gazpacho was recently overly thick and creamy (more bread and olive oil) and was lacking fresh vibrant vegetable flavor. Plus it wasn't as chilled in past (did they originally use a little bit of ice during pureeing? And now stopped). The paella was a total mess. It arrived soupy with a quarter inch of liquid still in bottom of pan. While not "overcooked " to mushy. The rice was well past al dente. Obviously achieving socarrat was impossible. While yellow it was lacking ANY distinct saffron flavor that it used to have. I also did not notice any threads- have they now gone to powdered saffron and cut back on amount too???? The Torta San Sebastian was still "very good" but it's crust was overcooked and gummy. TBH, it really wasn't that bad and normally I wouldn't comment but given above complaints I feel it is part of a trend. We have been coming here about 4X per year. Will still come back to try Tapas, but again their basic Spanish Tapas require a deft cooking technique- so we'll see how those go. Oh well, As George Harrison wrote in 1970 "All Things Must Pass" This is not an uncommon trend in Mom & Pop places - once successful, staff get hired to replace overworked family and quality deteriorates I kept it at 3 stars because food wasn't terrible nor inedible. Just nothing special. Poorly made average American version of European classics.
