I can confidently say this is the place to get the BEST burger in town!! This place is really beautiful inside and so quaint and classy. Great mood lighting and intimate little booths for couple seating as well as bigger tables. They have their own scrub and lotion that smells fantastic and you can buy it. The food is literally incredible. The chef changed the menu once a month. That is a sign of a fresh and exciting restaurant. You know it's gonna be good when they are changing food seasonally and getting the way ingredients. I have had the Texas blue and also the Smoke burger. I want to try them all! Their regular fries are so freaking good. The sauces are great and I also tried the seasonal pumpkin Biscoff cheesecake. That was something else. Our server was wonderful and even got talking about food places with us as we were talking about exploring Houston more and gave us some great recommendations. Weird this time. We have always liked dining here, but this time the server made ordering difficult. My friend has a severe gluten allergy, explained it was pretty acute, and asked questions when ordering. The server struggled throughout the meal and added in a few eye rolls for good measure. The food was great as always however. I did ask for coffee at the end. We love the specialty coffee drinks and I asked if it was possible to get one of those. After quickly being told no, I asked for coffee with Bailey's. After a bit she came back and said they are going to let you get one of the specialty coffees. She could use some coaching. read more

They have a GREAT happy hour! Went on a Sunday around 3pm. They have happy hour every day of the week from 3-6pm which I loved! 50% off all cocktails so I ordered the Green Lotus. Tried this place for the first time the other day and had FANTASTIC service from Caleb. The food and wine recommendations he gave were perfect for the evening and we had a great time. My partner and i tried the pork belly, the brussels sprouts, the fish tacos, and the blue cheese burger with a Malbec and a sweet sparkling white wine; we'll definitely be back to try the steak and the dashi green beans next time as well as some of their cocktails! We were sat in a corner booth right next to the kitchen, and the smells coming from there were mouthwatering but the food was even better. Our table was clean, the service was quick and attentive, the vibe of the restaurant was family friendly but upscale, the lighting was low and the music wasn't too loud. This is absolutely one of our favorite brunch spots in The Woodlands. The beverage options are nearly endless. A variety of mimosas and Bloody Marys and a full cocktail list of other great options. Now for the best part......the food! My newest favorite is the chorizo tacos. Ask for the some hot salsa if you like it spicy. Another solid choice is the eggs benedict. Won't be coming here again. Service: Lorenzo repeatedly ignored our table and forgot lemons for our waters. I tried to order a bottle of wine but he turned away and never returned. Bar: took 25 minutes for our two identical cocktails to be made and delivered and we were sitting in the bar area. Kitchen/Manager: delivered the wrong steaks to our table, came back after we cut into them, took them away, left our brussel sprouts on the table to get cold, and then we sat there for another 15 minutes, no drinks, no check ins. When they do bring our two steaks, Lorenzo takes the brussel sprouts back (this is when he ignores me trying to order wine, aka the last straw). Finally the manager brings back the brussel sprouts (which tasted like they just reheated them, dry and soft), we've cut into our sirloin "filets" - tough and chewy - I ordered mine rare and there was no blood, no extra liquid, no au jus coming from it, it was dry and cold, with a huge tendon running through it. We asked for to go boxes. And after another ten minutes received them. We've been here many times, but this was bad. Not worth the cost at all. We will now only be going to On The Kirb for their Wednesday steak night ($30 for a perfectly cooked filet, mashed potatoes and asparagus, and great service!) read more

Happy hour prices were still good, I had the nice Lyeth Cabernet Sauvignon and an order of the meatballs which were plate licking good! My steak and chimichurri was so over salted it almost drowned out the charcoal flavor in the steak. We did get two appetizers were excellent. But my wife got a shrimp pasta. And the shrimp tasted of ammonia. Both times I went I got ribeye with chimichurri. I'm not sure what justifies the price, but we went over to (the yard) and not only was their mistake bigger with the same tenderness, but it was very flavorful and so were their appetizers.
