Highly recommend! Heidi emailed me right away with the details of my first home inspection. As a first time home buyer, I was anxious and didn't know what to expect. She sent me all the information I needed via email, and even reminded me the day before which, was super helpful! When I arrived, Mike was already there and ready to go. Now, I am an army veteran and nurse, so attention to detail is really important. Mike was personable, friendly, informative and knowledgeable. He offered me preliminary information because I could not stay for the entire inspection which I appreciated because it gave me an idea of what to expect. He was well spoken and honest. He stayed for quite a long time, and had every tool imaginable to get into all the nooks and crannies! I was blown away when we received the 74 page detailed report which was easy to understand. He not only identified each portion of the home, but included detailed photos and used red for the areas which needed some work. Because of Mike's diligence and hard work, I was able to make an informed, stress-free decision and back-out of an "As Is" sale! Very rude and unprofessional. Heidi and Mike canceled at 8:21am today. My appointment was scheduled for 9am today. Their policy requires payment "to hold slot" for the appointment, which means they want full payment before you even see an actual inspector (which according to 6-7 other home inspection companies and several realtors is not a normal policy). Beware and save yourself time and energy and use a different inspection company! Edited: Heidi called my broker (whom I don't even know as I've been dealing with a specific realtor) and is threatening lawyer action, although she hasn't been in contact with me and isn't answering my calls. My husband and I just bought our first home and used SNS for the inspection and 4 point on the home we purchased and one other inspection for a home we passed on. Each interaction we had with them over the phone and in person at the inspections (which we attended) were wonderful. Heidi was pleasant and helpful on the phone, at the inspections Mike was thorough and informative. The reports we received were incredibly detailed and included photos- which were so helpful in getting quotes for repairs later on. Talking to Mike at the inspections it was clear that he is knowledgeable and enjoys what he does. He even had a couple of valuable tips for dealing with seller repairs and insurance quotes. I came across SNS Home Inspections right here on Yelp. I saw they had amazing reviews, even though they don't have a lot of them, and decided to call them up. I called on Thursday and they were able to schedule me in that Saturday at 9am. Mike showed up right on time. (I believe he might be the owner, not sure). He immediately got to work and I would say within the first 20 minutes or so he already had news for us. They were not good. He was very knowledgeable, thorough and very honest, which I appreciated. We had also scheduled the termite inspection with them and decided to cancel it since there was no point in going through with it. He said that was no problem and they could either refund me that money or keep as a credit on my account for the next inspection. They were very quick with the report; it was around 3pm that same day when we received it. Loved the customer service and overall experience this company provided. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and will use them again. read more

I can not say enough about SNS Home Inspections. They have integrity, reliability, innovation, and excellent customer service. I followed Gary around the inspection which was done on a Sunday. He was very gracious and knowledgeable. I felt that based on his determinations, if i wanted to back out of the sale, it was worth every penny for their inspection and I would not have lost out. They were so professional and helpful. Personally, I feel they are the standard all home inspections should achieve. I did buy the house and thanks to the great inspection, I started out with a good list, no surprises, of things to work on and improve. Heidi was so awesome on the phone and super knowledgeable. They made me feel valued and I consider them 'Good People'. To be honest, based on what i learned, there should be a home inspection done on every home rental. I have heard of some handymen that will go in and provide a perusal home inspection. Never go that route! One should be able to rely on complete information and that is what you will get with SNS.
