He hired a couple who could hardly communicate with us and were basically handymen. Not window experts. He assured us he would be there "all day" for the project to "supervise" and he wasn't. Finishing work was sloppy and not done properly along with the issue of the windows now not opening correctly and not aligned correctly. Was assured no window permitting needed because we were only replacing rotted wood. The job is not completed and we have had to hire another contractor who will correct the mistakes made and do it right. Husband tried to speak with him and explain we had no confidence in him to "fix it" with the kind of workers he is using. He got very angry and walked off and left. He has taken all but $1000 of our agreed upon money only because stucco work was pending. Even though we paid him $300 of the $1300 stucco cost. So now we are out thousands of dollars for a poor outcome on this unexpected Reno work. Make sure when you hire someone that they have legit workers working for them.

I live in Orange City I wanted to shop local, I had read other reviews and this company has been in business since 1973 and finally the price was fair. Shawn O'Quinn came out and discussed my concerns and came up with an agreement based on my roof project. We were very concerned the roof would exceed the contract amount and actually it did but they honored the contract price. The roof replacement process....imagine a swarm of bees starting at seven am and ripping the shingles off like locust going through a cornfield. If you watch it's rather messy but each roofing person was so professional and any concerns I had faded due to their experience and professionalism. The best part the roof is - it's finished and it is more beautiful than I expected. Every soft spot replaced repaired and perfect. I have never seen people work like these guys and obviously The results have exceeded my expectations.

At the conclusion, Mark sat down with both listing agent, my realtor as well as the sellers and myself to review their findings. I found this highly unusual, as I was paying $395 for the inspection and the results were mine...not something I wanted to share with the freekin neighborhood! Anyway, about 6 weeks after the fact, we were demolishing the kitchen and discovered about an inch (no kidding) of BLACK ELECTRICAL TAPE wrapped around the sink drain! AND a nasty old wash rag wrapped around the water supply valve! Further, the "repair" the previous owner botched was COMPLETELY MISSED BY PRO VUE INSPECTION. The base cabinet was heavily damaged from water. When I called Mark at Pro Vue and he said " call me when your plumber gets there and we'll take care of it..." Well, I called, and with my plumber standing there I got Marks voicemail...6 days later he has yet to return my call. Pro Vue it isn't!

I had Passen Inspections perform the following services; Property Inspection, 4-Point Inspection, Wood Destroying Organisms and Wind Mitigation Inspection. The 4-Point Inspection and Wind Mitigation was needed to get a better rate on property insurance costs. Bo Passen conducted the property inspection for me and I found him to be personable and very knowledgable in all areas. Bo was punctual and did not rush the inspection. He made sure everything was inspected including the roof, exterior walls and windows, spa operation, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and major appliances. I was so impressed with Bo that I recommended him to my Sister who is buying my 1st house in The Villages from me. She was very happy with Bo's services as well.
