Rented a boat for the day - boat was clean, marina staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable! We had a great experience out on this part of the lake. We were excited to try the tube and the water skis that came with the boats. However, we did have an issue with the tube as it was a bit deflated. We ended up taking time to go back to the marina for a replacement which unfortunately also deflated after a couple of rides. So if you're looking for a tubing-forward experience, just something to be aware of. Other than that, we would definitely recommend. read more

We bought a boat from Snug this summer. They were honest, thoughtful and very thorough. They even taught us to drive it, get it into a difficult area of the lake we need to pass to get to our home. They even dropped it off and docked it with us. Couldn't recommend them higher. read more

Made a reservation at Snug Harbor south. Then I needed to make the reservation for a bigger boat, but they didn't have any availability at the southern location, so they transferred my reservation to the Northern location. The boat was in good shape, everything worked, and it was clean. Came with a tube and skis (we didn't use the skis). It all worked pretty efficiently and we didn't spend a lot of time standing around and waiting. read more

I bought a brand new $35,000 Bennington pontoon boat here and at first I was very satisfied with the service, but I was soon proven wrong. My pontoons started leaking 2 years after the purchase while it was still under the warranty. Snug Harbor ordered me new pontoons and they told me it would be a few months before they arrived, finally 4 months later I called to see if they came in, coincidentally they had just arrived 2 days before I called. Well after calling Bennington directly I found out that Snug Harbor received them 2 weeks after they were ordered and they just sat on them because they were apparently too busy to take care of me. They did however give me free winter storage once I caught them in their web of lies. I feel like this could be a good business if some of their employees had more customer satisfaction training. read more

Setting up a camping trip for me, my wife and both of my sons in August on the Lake George Islands for the first time. Only accessible by boat, pretty cool right? Made a boat rental reservation but then realized it was at the wrong Snug Harbor. I needed Snug Harbor South but booked with Snug Harbor North by mistake. Natasha was awesome and took the time to call the South location and correct my reservation. Not only did she fix my mistake, but she was sooooo helpful and courteous in doing so. I would 100% recommend Snug Harbor (North or South) to anyone planning to rent a boat for camping or otherwise on lake George. Great customer service. Cant go wrong folks! Thank you again Natasha!
