Owner John Welch was extremely thorough and after about an hour of detective work, discovered the cause to be something completely unexpected: a loose intercooler radiator mount. In the meantime, we found John and his wife, Leanna, to be very pleasant company and ended up talking to them for about 1/2 hour afterward. Despite all the time he spent figuring out the problem, the charge was *extremely* reasonable and, needless to say, I was very relieved to know that I could drive the 330 miles back home with the truck having been properly repaired. If you're in the Schroon Lake area and you need your vehicle repaired, this is definitely the place to go!

Two guys on Harley's stopped and we asked them to stop at the first service station they saw in Warrensburg. Luckily for us this was where they stopped. The owner showed up 20 minutes after the bikers left, put our SUV, with our dogs and kayaks, on the lift and drove us 88 miles home. Yeah, it cost a lot but with dogs and $1500 in kayaks it was worth it to get all of us home. He actually undercharged us for the trip, was pleasant company on the ride, and made what was a horrible experience much easier to deal with.
