Great service all around. This is a group of can-do problem solvers who want to help you fix your boat and store your boat the right way. We had a bad ignition in our used boat, but since it had been purchased there 5 years ago they went out of there way to help us. They didn't have part in stock and could have easily said - see you in Oct. when the part will be available. But instead all 4 service guys put their heads together and rewired another ignition to make it work on our boat. We are now fishing happily on our boat instead of it being dead in the water for 2-3 months! Thank you EZ Marine for your help! Oh and Missy and the rest of the staff who help schedule storage and sell boating items (think of a small West Marine, but you don't have to drive to Albany!) are super as well. EZ says it all. We chartered one of their pontoon boats for a day on Schroon and it couldn't have been easier and hassle free. From booking with knowledgeable staff to having them deliver and pick up the boat on Schroon, we felt well cared for. The pontoon was clean and in virtually new shape and we spent the day exploring Schroon and tubing with our tube. Save yourself a LOT of time, aggravation and money and DON'T use this marina for any service especially buying a boat! LIARS! We got such nice kind service upfront when we were looking to purchase our boat. But once we purchased our almost hundred thousand dollar boat we got a completely different experience. Everything from our brand new boat arriving with multiple issues, years of promises of fixing things and making things right and it never happening and now three years later another issue that we brought up when we first bought the boat that was never taken care of is now a problem! They will promise you that they will Take care of anything that arises with your boat however that is definitely not the case. Once your boat goes there for any type of service, no matter how small, you won't get it back when they "promise" you. So many broken "promises" over the years! I can't even believe we had multiple issues with a brand new boat (we had it custom made) and they didn't fix them from the start. Bernie and Josh are HORRIBLE at actually taking care of their customers! Very shady!!!!!! Save yourself years of aggravation and go elsewhere if you actually want a marina that will not lie to you and will actually take care of your boat and get it back to you in a reasonable amount of time so you can enjoy it! We've missed sooooooo much boating time, which is limited enough, because our boat sits there waiting to be worked on as they PROMISE it will be done the very next day!!!!! In years past, my family has rented a pontoon boat for our week at Schroon Lake. Same this year, but 2 boats. They sure live up to their name. They really do make it so easy. They deliver on time and pick up on time. Better yet, their prices were much better than anyone else. We'll never use any other rental company. Pleasure to work with, very nice people. read more

I would like to post that in agreement with the other commenter, I have NEVER been treated so poorly by a staff member like I was today. The office is completely unorganized and when I called to offer a payment over the phone they accused me of harassing the front desk lady and HUNG UP on me. We rented boats from this place and Schroon Lake Marina this weekend and the Schroon Lake Marina was so much easier to work with and I would rent with them again in a heartbeat over this poorly run company. read more

I have rented pontoon boats from this company for several years for vacations in the Adirondacks. The experience was previously positive, which is why I returned to rent with them again this year. Unfortunately, this time there were persistent mechanical problems causing the boat to lose power and stall out in remote areas with no cell service. This happened multiple times, seemingly at random over the course of our six day camping trip. When we reached the rental company through the help of the Environmental Conservation staff, they asked the ranger to check out the boat and made no effort to address the problem. We rented a canoe as an emergency back-up and a nearby camper agreed to rescue us if we became stranded in the boat. For the duration of the trip we stayed close to our camp and minimized use of the unreliable boat. Upon returning home, I called the owner who said the problem was "operator error" and that we had let the gas get too low. Given the limited use of the boat, we never let the tank get below half full. Based on this experience, I will not be returning to E-Z Marine. "Let the buyer beware!" read more

We recently bought our first boat from EZ Marine & Storage. Josh was awesome to deal with and took the time to answer all our questions without making us feel rushed, which made the whole ordering process and customization of our boat a pleasurable experience. When we went to pick up the boat Josh took the time to go over everything to make sure we were familiar with the operation and happy with what we were buying. I found a nice boat listed online from EZ Marine. Called and spoke to Bernie who was very nice and informative regarding the boat. We agreed on a price and I gave him my credit card to hold the boat pending an inspecton and sea trial. This was on a Monday and I explained do to the distance between us I wouldnt be able to make it there until the following Monday due to My daughters HS graduation he understood. On Saturday I receive a call from Bernie telling me he sold the boat. He explained that the person offered him more than we agreed upon and didnt want to sea trial it so he went ahead and sold it. It would have been nice for him to explain that my offer for the boat and his acceptance of the prcie was meaningless if he got a better deal. Being a businessman myself I was a bit surprised that someone would run a business like this. I hope this information helps others. read more

Bought a dock from them five years ago specifically because they offered installation and removal services. I sent in my check this year, just like last. They cashed my check this year, just like last year. About a month later, they sent out a form email stating they would no longer be installing docks and provided information for another company to use. I assumed they had already installed my dock because they cashed the check. I arrive at my house to discover they have not installed the dock. When I reached out, there was no apology for the misunderstanding. No offer to help me get everything sorted. Just a demand for proof of the cashed check. I sent them a copy of the check with the date it was deposited. They finally agreed to return my funds to me but were nasty and rude the entire time. I wish I had come here before buying a dock from them because I'm now stuck trying to find an independent service to install my dock. Every other company up here is busy installing their own docks. I would HIGHLY recommend going anywhere else. read more
