We purchased an appliance from this store some years ago, and went there first this time. Our 16-year-old two drawer dishwasher broke, and the repair was too expensive, so we decided to buy a new one. Our salesperson Al took very good care of us. We wanted another two-door dishwasher, and wound up purchasing a GE Cafe. He told us Dennise would place the order and contact us when it was delivered to their store. And so she did, letting us know that it was available, and Juan would call us to set up a delivery time. And so he did. Juan arrived exactly on time, was extremely careful and respectful of our property. He carefully brought the dishwasher into the kitchen. He then unhooked the old dishwasher and installed the new one. He carefully cleaned everything, taking time to do it properly. He then removed our old dishwasher for haul away. I would give this review five stars based only on how wonderful Juan took care of us and our property. I cannot recommend him and Snyder diamond more highly. read more

I purchased a bath tub for $4200 (marked down significantly because it was a floor model). Jessie, our salesperson, "hooked [us] up". (His words) I paid for delivery to my home. It showed up with the bubble wrap punctured and a scratch. We asked what could be done. Jessie said he'd look into it... he never got back to us. Come time to install the tub--we discover that it is missing the drain assembly. We call to let Jessie know--see if he still has it somewhere. He says it doesn't come with it. He says he'll see what he can do. I have to call another company and the manufacturer. Both the other company and the manufacture tell us that it absolutely comes with the drain assembly as part of the price. Jessie, not knowing that we know this, says he'll "hook [us] up"--acting like he is doing us a favor by giving us a drain assembly that was included in the purchase price. Waiting on the drain assembly delayed our project over a week then caused ripple effects of delays beyond that. We have emailed Jessie our feedback and were never given the courtesy of a response. You want knowledge about the products they are selling--don't count on it. You want a white glove customer service experience--don't count on it. Whether it was disorganization, a lack of care, I definitely was not made to feel like a valued customer. read more

Way beyond what's expected! We got our refrigerator from Snyder Diamond. The price was competitive. What I didn't realize was SD's customer service policy exceeds the usual. I had a problem installing a new air filter and had spent hours trying to accomplish this "should-be easy task". I made a number of calls including one to the number in the instruction manual from Kitchen Aid. That 800 number sent me to a site that was selling a medical alert system for those over 50. Other calls including to the manufacturer who I hoped would offer help simply didn't. Finally, I called Snyder Diamond and to my astonishment Robert, a sales associate, listened to me, and asked if we lived at the same address. He said he'd be at our house in 15 minutes. He found the problem, solved it and said he had to rush away. It was his lunch hour. Credit must also go to Snyder Diamond for being the kind of company that hires, retains and values a staff that shows that kind of commitment to its customers. read more

To stop a dripping faucet at my mother's home, I was in desperate need of the hot and cold stems for high end bathroom sink hardware that was installed in 1995. After no luck with a variety of plumbing suppliers, I was directed to Snyder Diamond in Van Nuys. My hero of the day is Tony Perez in their parts department!!! He not only knew exactly the parts I needed but had them in stock. Being unfamiliar with working with the stems, I appreciated him educating me on telling the difference between the hot and cold stems. He helped me find the exact new version of the faucet that matched all of the fixtures that were still good in the bathroom. Both Jose's that work there were great! One was our salesman and he gave us very fair prices and was very patient while the other Jose (not sure of his job title...customer service?) went far and beyond to help us out in a pinch. Our appliance installer flaked on us leaving us with all of our refrigerated and frozen items going to waste! Jose called another appliance installer who, as a favor to him, rearranged their schedule to come out right away and help us. Savannah the project manager is not a project manager. Not sure what she is managing. Went to their store so many times and spent so many hours on the phone so many times. Talked to managers of all sorts. Escalated so many times. Nothing changes. Just lip service. We spent thousands of dollars but their service never gotten better or improved. That is how they are. That is their reputation amongst the contractors. Designers are probably getting a good cut. That is why they take you there. Do not listen to your designer or contractor if they want to take you there unless you want your project to delay for months just because of them. Horrible company. From sales people to project managers to managers in general. Zero accountability. Zero visibility to your order. Missing parts. Wrong parts. Missed dates despite promises. I had the perfect 5-star experience buying high-end appliances (Sub-Zero and Wolf) here with Jose Quezada. From selecting the appliances with Jose, to their installation several months later, it was a seamless purchase. I have bought those same appliances for several other remodels in years past from the other big dealers in town and to say the least, things did not go well throughout the process. This time, it was all good. Somehow I had never worked with Snyder Diamond before in 25 years of remodeling houses in LA and I see how much easier my life would have been had I. We just walked in the store doing a little research for an upcoming kitchen remodel (now complete) one afternoon in February and Jose was attentive, knowledgable, helpful, fun to deal with, and very competitive on price, too. I'll do another review for the installation company they work with (Best Installations), which Jose helped coordinate, that ended up being a great experience, too. That is something I've never experienced with other companies mentioned above. Again, I couldn't be happier from start to finish. I highly recommend buying your appliances from Jose...
