I originally went to Jasmine for a Korean lash lift and decided to get a facial too. I have really sensitive skin that reacts to just about everything so after the facial my skin had a slight reaction, which is honestly pretty normal for me. I told Jasmine not to worry cause this always seems to happen whenever my skin is exposed to something new, and I've never been able to figure out why. Jasmine didn't just leave it at that. She took the time to research what might be causing it and sent me so much helpful information, and she genuinely helped me better understand what might be going on. That level of care meant so much to me. Once my skin calmed down it looked so refreshed! Jasmine also did my Korean lash lift, and as someone with very stubborn Asian lashes, I really appreciated how patient and thorough she was. She took her time, explained everything, and made sure I was happy with the results. My lashes turned out so beautiful! Jasmine is so kind, extremely knowledgeable, and patient, and you can tell she truly cares about her clients. It's rare to find someone who puts that much care into what they do. Jessica is incredibly gifted - my experience with her Myofacial massage was unlike any other massage I've had. She really listened to my body, and was able to release some really "stuck" areas that I've struggled with pain & tightness in for many months. The effects have lasted for weeks since - I feel less strain and more relaxed flexibility in my body. It's even helped my form and endurance in my workouts. She was a natural at holding a safe space with non judgment so I was really able to trust and let go of a lot of emotional heaviness I was hanging on to in my body as well. She was able to work on my jaw too, which has tended to be very tight, and as a side effect, actually realigned it! Let me start by saying THANK GOD for Jessica Quiles After 11 years of bodybuilding and practically zero self-care/bodywork done in the process.. needless to say my body's been screaming for attention and care. I was at the point of being suicidal with how much constant pain I was in, not to mention thinking I'd never be able to exercise again. My husband found Jessica for me when I pulled my back out and could not get out of bed. In a single word, she is incredible. Her specialty, myofacial release, works wonders on old scar tissue that persists in causing tightness and pain. I cannot recommend her enough. She comes to your home, plays beautiful meditation music to help you relax, and also provides free aromatherapy with your massage. Unfortunately, that was not the case - her pressure was so hard it was uncomfortable and not relaxing at all, and at times she didn't use enough oil or lotion and was pulling my skin. Before we started the massage I told her what my issue was but it was not addressed and I had to ask her to work on it before turning me over. I'm almost sorry that I did - the pressure and technique she used was hard and vigorous when it needed to be slow and deep. As a massage therapist myself with over 20 years experience I know there is a difference between deep tissue massage and just being hard - real deep tissue massage needs to slow to be able to work through tissue rather than just vigorously pushing in really hard; I felt like she wasn't reading my body at all and in my experience you can tell if you're paying attention. I was looking forward to a Swedish deep tissue massage that would help me feel better, not a Thai massage - I don't like Thai massage and if that's what I wanted I would've gone to a Thai place and paid less. I ended up leaving feeling beat up (she literally pounded on me a couple of times), not relaxed and still in pain with added pain of feeling bruised by the super hard pressure. My neck/shoulder/arm issue is still bothering me today, along with still feeling bruised. The good part of the session was the amazing stretches she does - Johana is tiny but mighty and puts a lot into her work. I was apprehensive in doing this review because Johana is a professional, sweet lady with great positive energy and is skilled - with her stretches being her strong suit; that's why I gave her 3 stars. I wish I had better things to say and Im bummed because I really like Johana as a person and would love for her to be my consistent massage therapist but unfortunately, it just wasn't the massage for me
