The plumber from So-cal 1 plumbing & rooter wanted to charge us $3600.00 to replace a leaking shower fixture. He claimed the water pressure regulator and possibly the valve associated with that needed to be replaced. He also told us that an extra tank needed to be added to our relatively new water heater. And he would not replace our shower fixture until he "corrected" the above alleged problems. When he tried to remove the cartridge of the fixture, or the valve stem, he claimed the stem was stuck to the valve body. Therefore, he would have to cut a bigger hole in our shower wall to reach the valve body. My husband and I politely dismissed him. He then replaced our shower fixture UPSIDE DOWN! We later asked our maintenance man about the pressure regulator. He said the water pressure was fine. There was nothing wrong with the regulator. We ended up using a local plumber who not only replaced the shower fixture but also snaked our badly clogged kitchen sink for $189.00. read more

We made an appointment for him to come out and he arrived on time and was very professional. He even put on the little boot covers every time he entered the house. ILLEGAL AND UNPROFESSIONAL WORK ETHICS !!! The only reason I'm providing this company with one star is for prompt response to my parent's water leak. However, everything is downhill from there - this contractor DID NOT follow state mandated laws (Asbestos testing that is required by all contractors per OSHA & SCAQMD) by ordering asbestos testing and obtaining same day results BEFORE opening drywall to assess damages. Thereby subjecting my elderly parents and immune compromised brother to asbestos contamination when 1/ they opened up several areas of asbestos positive drywall. 2/ did not contain those areas with plastic 3/ nor cleaned up their work areas. Thankfully I popped into their home to check-in, and upon witnessing the open holes I immediately contacted Cesar at the company and discussed all areas they fell short. He didn't have much to say, of course. Then an invoice was forwarded for almost $10k for a PEX reroute wall/attic. Not even copper reroute. Due to their illegal and unprofessional handling, I had to move my parents out that day to air bnb and the entire area required removal of their personal items. A total loss of everything from appliances, furniture, rugs, books and etc. Most importantly they're being monitored for respiratory and pulmonary issues due to exposure to asbestos being airborne unnecessarily. This was a total disregard for their customer health and wellbeing. And we're being counseled is considered elder abuse. A complaint has been filed with OSHA & SCAQMD. Insurance company will be subrogating as well. read more

We have been dealing with an odor issue in our kitchen area for about close to 5 years and have had several plumbing companies come to fix the issue but none managed to figure out the solution. Fed was patient and applied his experience to identify the source of our odor issue and that it was caused by a bad venting job done by the previous owner who flipped my house.
