I came here for a car wash one time. I wasn't really impressed and I found them to be very rude. But I always give a second chance. Unfortunately the second time was just as bad except I paid more for it. Trying to make an appointment was near to impossible. They don't answer the phone so I had to drive there to make the appointment and of course the man was rude. So I waited probably five weeks or so for an appointment for car detailing. We showed up in the morning and I parked my car on the side of the parking lot so I could go in and ask where I should park it for detailing. The man I spoke with was absolutely rude and disrespectful. He kept telling me I couldn't park there and I kept trying to tell him that I need to know where I could park. He just didn't want to listen. So rude. I left my car and came back late afternoon to pick it up. I walked up to my car and I could see spots all over the plastic molding at the bottom of the driver side. I happen to ask a man who was there working what that was and he said it was probably spray from the tire spray. I looked at the tires and they looked a little shiny and I looked at the rims and they may have been a little shiny but they were also still dirty. He was kind enough to go and get a spray to take away those spots which were ugly. I opened the door to put my pocketbook inside and I noticed that the cupholders were still dirty. Then I looked at the pockets on the drivers door and they were filthy. They had been untouched. I mentioned it to this young man and he was disgusted himself and went and got something to fix it. I didn't dare look around anymore because I was just so disgusted. I realize that it was a bargain because I had a Groupon but it is no bargain if they don't do the job. I sent the following to the email provided on their website and never recieved a call or email back. "I have brought my car to the Mineral Spring location a few times for a complete detail. This time I was not satisfied. I have to first start off by saying Norman was very helpful with booking my appointment. He was flexible when I called back to change the date. I dropped my car off at 8:30AM. I received a call at 6:25PM stating I needed to pick up my car by 7:00PM... a mere 35 minutes notice is ridiculous. I had to leave work which is 30 minutes away and hope that my car would be available for pickup. When I got  there at 7:10PM my car's interior was being hastily worked on. Norman walked with me to my car when it was "finished", having to get back to work I could not fully inspect the car. I did notice while on my way back to work makeup was still left on the glove box, as well as on am/fm button, both wiped off with no effort. The middle console, trunk and vents were not cleaned. All items had previously been removed from the console, so there is no excuse. Mirrors were smudgy as well as what looked to be residue of cleaning product left on my back leather seats. The exterior had orange water marks both on the hood and the passenger side door. My back license plate was, what I am assuming power washed so much to the effect that the number plating is partially removed. My all weather floor mats were still filthy. I highly recommend your business to anyone looking for an exceptional car detailing and am embarrassed." Needless to say I will not be back, not will I recommend this business to anyone. read more

I purchased a Groupon for a full car detail, and so did my parents. We took our cars on different days. The detail took a bit shorter than expected, and I wonder if they rushed through it. The car was very clean, but I noticed some greasy looking residue from the cleaners or polish on the inside of the car, on the gear shift and a few other spots. Also, the mats they had shampooed and put in the trunk were practically soaking wet. I had to lay them out once I got home for a couple days honestly for them to dry out. I am wondering what they normally do, and again, if this was rushed. Otherwise I was very happy with how clean the car was with the exception of these few things, and also the radio dial didn't look to be cleaned very well. Norman was the one who helped us, but was a bit off-putting the day I brought in my car. It was going to rain later in the day, but I had made an appointment. When I showed up he said they usually close when it rains (makes sense, but I had an appointment, were they going to call me and have me reschedule?). He said they would probably close early, and therefore seemed to maybe rush my detail. I dunno. In any case I think it was a good deal with the Groupon, but the location is out of the way for me, and the customer service wasn't great. Very unimpressed with this company. Bought a Groupon for a mobile detailing and scheduled my appointment. They never showed up to the first day, and when I called they said they had no record of the appointment. We rescheduled for another day, and they still never showed up or called. When I called to check in they said they were having "car trouble" with the mobile unit, and rescheduled for a THIRD time. Once again, they did not show up, and did not pick up the phone when I called. Would 100% avoid this company. read more

This place never answers their phones. I have a Groupon. Eventually, I drove over to see if they could take a walk-in, since I was unable to book via phone. They guy I spoke with gave me an appointment three weeks out... 9am 5/5. Here I am waiting. Business is not open. No one is here. Again, the phones ring and ring. First time at a so fresh and so clean so wasn't quite sure what to expect, but don't expect much. There was no one to greet us, no one spoke to us or even asked us what we wanted before they started to scrub the car. The only 3 things said to us were "stay in your vehicle", "you want the inside clean?" and "you're all set". It was a very bad experience and I would never go back to the Mineral Spring location. The staff looked miserable and it was honestly so painful to watch them. I kind of felt bad sitting there. We tipped them a lot because of how sad and miserable they looked but when we entered the vehicle we were extremely upset. Certain parts of the car wasn't cleaned!!!!! I could've done a better job. Ok..... The exterior came out nice. The vacuuming was thorough. The cleaning of the dash and door panels was half assed. Go on a warm day - DO NOT go into the "waiting lounge" - stay outside! It was like you were hanging out in the bedroom of a 16 year old boy complete with dirty clothes piled in the corner with furniture that looks like it came out of a dumpster. The garage bay was a mess too. Random tools laying around, Trip hazards everywhere. Out of service sign on the bathroom door. I have to say the guys working were friendly enough and trying - but this place needs a good clean up, organization and some more employee training. With the amount of complaints on yelp about this location concerning Norman, I'm shocked that he still works there! This review as well is about Norman. He has a poor attitude and job disposition. Period. I've been there several times to get my car washed inside and out and the quality of the work is decent. But the reason I'll never be coming back is Norman. Here is my story. Like the others, I purchased a Groupon for full auto detailing for my sons 99 Toyota. Yes it is an old car but it is his first car and he's very proud of it. It definitely needed a lot of work when we acquired it. I first dealt with all the mechanical things and now we've moved onto the cosmetic stuff. My son is special needs and he's 17 years old. A kid who just graduated high school got his drivers license a few months back and got his first car with his own money. I'm trying to teach him social skills by having him do simple tasks without me. What a mistake today! He was to drop off his car to be detailed at 9 AM and he was met with nothing but opposition and rudeness. The first thing was that he had SEAT covers on his car. No one told us that they were not supposed to be there and it could've been communicated in a much nicer way to him. Also he received a lecture from him about having stuff in the backseat, mainly a jacket. Also my son was struggling to separate his house keys from his car keys and needed some assistance because of his disability. One of the other employees comes over to help my son but was quickly reprimanded by Norman to NOT help him because " it's his responsibility and not our job". I wonder how the Americans with disabilities act (ADA) would feel about that? It was a simple task, and a little kindness would've gone a long way. The only reason this review gets two stars is because the owner called me back promptly to address my concerns, it still offered no solution except that it wouldn't happen again. I bought the "Complete Detail" for $70 from Groupon, which is originally $150. I originally bought this months ago, but because they were so overwhelmed with Groupons, I had to make an appointment 2 1/2 months out. One major reason I got this, was because of a oil spill i had in the passengers seat. I came on Monday at 8am, was told that it would take 3-4 hours, and that they would call me when it was ready. I asked them to really focus on the passengers side seat to remove the oil, they said no problem. By 12:30pm, I did not hear from them. I called, and the person who picked up said it would be done by 1:30. It takes me 25 minutes to get to this location. I got there at 1:30 and was told its not even close to being done, it would take at-least another hour. I was told that the person who picked up and told me 1:30, had no idea what he was talking about and didn't know what car was mine.. It was finished at 2:30pm 6 1/2 hours after I dropped it off. I was told that a critical piece of equipment they used broke early in the morning, which is why everything was delayed. These guys put a lot of time and effort into this, so I don't want to knock them too bad, BUT, the passenger seat STILL had oil/grease. Other then that, they did a fantastic job. Below is what comes with the package and how they did. Here is what is included in this package: Inside & Out detail package-Excellent Oxidation, bug, and tar removal-Excellent Deluxe carnauba hand wax-Excellent Shampoo of the entire interior-Below Average Interior cleaning and conditioning-Above Average-Rear view mirror had water spots. Deluxe wheel wash and tire shine-Excellent Engine detail-Didn't check this one out. If they had cleaned the oil out of the seat, I would have bumped this review up to a 4/5 stars. It gets 3/5 because of the lengthy appointment date, giving me an inaccurate time which caused me to wait. read more

I brought my car in to So Fresh and So Clean today to be detailed. My husband had given me a gift certificate for Christmas but I figured I'd wait until the weather got warmer. When I called to make the appointment they were booking 3 weeks out! I now know why... they do an absolutely amazing job! I bought my car from a pre-owned dealer and I can honestly say the car looks better today than the day I bought it. They cleaned all the nooks & crannies (and with having the top down this past week, my car was gross with pollen!) I highly recommend So Fresh and So Clean! This place is so unprofessional. Dropped our vehicle there at 9AM for our scheduled detailed (Groupon) and was told it would take between 4 and 5 hours. We were expecting the vehicle to be done no later than 2PM...to make a long story short after calling to find out the status of our vehicle we were told it wouldn't be ready until 6:40pm. We show up at 7PM and it didn't look like they detailed anything. We had to spot check the entire vehicle inside and out for 45 minutes with the crew to ensure the detail was done half way right. After 9 hours with a vehicle we shouldn't expect to see the wheels still have break dust on them and the crumbs/dirt still on the floor mats. Nothing but excuses spewed from the managers mouth while we picked apart the piss poor job done. We will never go back to the North Providence location. If I could give this place negative stars I would. New management is needed in my opinion. If the Manager doesn't care that attitude will reflect through the employees and the result is what we saw today. read more

I had a Groupon which was ready to expire. I visited them in person and Norman was kind enough to honor the Groupon even though it was about to expire in a day or so. I brought the car in two weeks later as was my appointment. The car looked great inside and out. This is a very busy place and I am not sure that there is someone in the office always answering phone calls or making appointments. They have their own kind of workflow so when you show up they are busy. Just be patient and wait for your turn and they will take care of you. They are working very hard and it is not an easy job. Worst. Experience. Ever. Dropped my car off at at 9:30 and the said about 4-5 hours. I showed up 5 hours later and they hadn't even started my car. NINE hours later, NINE I got my car back and there was sand all in it, the stains were still there, big handprints in the windshield and window. Didn't clean the dashboard. I pull away and get a message "you forgot you car mats" I did? I didn't even notice because I was so mad already. I turned around and was back 10 minutes later, place was locked, not a would in site. We purchased a Groupon for the North Providence location. My husband spent weeks calling (with no answers or returned calls) and made multiple trips to the location during advertised business hours before he was able to find someone who worked there. He finally made an appointment for this morning at 9am. We waited for over a half hour (another person was waiting in a car as well) and finally left. The only bright side is that Groupon did refund us to our original payment and not Groupon credit (which took some back and forth, because it took so long to book the appointment, the Groupon expired and technically we should have gotten Groupon credit). Based on our experience and the reviews here and on Google, I'm not sure how this place stays in business. read more

I give them three stars because on the phone, the costumer service was a 3. I had gone onto their website and it was hard to find information about booking an appointment or even how to contact them. The information was a little misleading, but I let this one slide. I like supporting businesses that are owned by people of color such as this place, and they were able to get wax off of our car that had been caked onto our car. I've stopped by this So Fresh and So Clean location a few times and have driven away satisfied and happy with how car my clean is. Full disclosure, I usually go in to this particular location using a Groupon for the inside and out service, but I've never have any issues when using it either. From what I've noticed they do a solid job by starting off scrubbing and washing down the entire exterior of the car. Then they move on to the interior and make sure everything is vacuumed and wiped down pretty thoroughly. When I've gone this whole entire process usually takes about 15 to 20 minutes. If you are looking for a good car wash that is an upgrade from just your standard drive through ones I would definitely recommend trying out this So Fresh and So Clean location. read more

The Manager was screaming at the workers and he was going to all the cars collecting money. I gave a 10.00 tip before service and he didn't even say thank you. His customer service and attitude was terrible. The man that vacuumed my car didn't even remove the rug or do the back rugs. I didn't have that experience the last time I went there. First off - I REALLY don't like leaving negative reviews. Feel free to look through my review history. So for me to leave a negative review, I have to have a pretty bad experience. I bought the "Express Detail" on Groupon for $75. When I reached out to So Fresh So Clean to make plans for them to detail my car, they told me I'd need to pay an extra $25 in person because I have an SUV. Fine. They came to my house, I paid them the extra $25. Part 1: They got there, everything seemed fine. I left, and when I came back they were gone. I opened my car door and they did the seats and rugs fine. However, they didn't do the "trunk area" (behind the third row) of my SUV at all! Even though they charged me an extra $25! On top of that, my cupholders were still dirty, the pockets and areas in the front of the car were absolutely disgusting still (they even left a soda can that had been turned upside down on the door cupholder, in there, and didn't clean it). It was insanely bad job. Part 2: I took pictures and called the company immediately. The person who answered did not want to deal with the situation at all. I asked him if they had an email where I could send the pictures. He said "I don't know, I just work here." I asked to talk to a manager, he said there wasn't one around. I asked when the manager would be back, and the man said "I don't know." I asked him how I would get in touch with the manager, and he said "I don't know, I guess just call back." Finally, I said "Please have the manager call me back ASAP," and I gave them my number. Haven't heard back yet. Honestly, I don't want to deal with them again. Not interested in scheduling again, I just want a refund. I will update this review with that info when and if I get it, but this company has been terrible so far. read more

I purchased a Total Clean inside & out hand shampoo the works, for my recently bought used car. Okay so the fine print says that black cars and charged an extra fee of $25. I had an appt scheduled for Monday at 10:00am, they said it would take 4-5 hours. After I asked them about their waiting area, which was locked, and he replied, "we don't have one" so I went to restaurants near by. I walked back to the car wash around 1:30, they just said not yet and walked away from me. Then I called about 3:30, they said it would be another hour or more! I again walked back to the car wash around 5:30, where I waited outside & watched as they finished up my car (which was last in line). Finally got my car back at 6:00pm on the dot. They did not touch the truck. Still dirty. They did not clean the inside... pictures will show all. Complete waste of my only day off& money. Not sure what was done in those 8 hours...... Can't believe this is a $150 value (I paid $65 plus the $25 fee plus tip.) I want a refund. read more

It was a little intimidating because I didn't speak to anyone or tell them what I wanted they just started washing my car. The guys that cleaned my car did an amazing job, my son plays a lot of sports so we eat in the car & he gets sand and dirt in the car. They really took their time and made it look & smell nice. Purchased a Groupon for the full detailing. I'll start by saying this: they did a great job on my car. However, I have never received such terrible service in my life. It started with what I presume to be the manager telling me he "would not touch" my car because there was about 2 pieces of trash in there. He then refused to provide me with a garbage bag and was EXTREMELY rude when he told me to go find a trash bin. I asked him when I could expect my car to be ready, and he said "I call you when it's ready, that's how it works." SO rude and degrading. I called about 3 hours later just to check in on the status of my car. With attitude, he said "I have 5 cars here " I told him which car was mine and he said "didn't I tell you I'd call when it's ready?" It was not ready until 4:30, I dropped it off at 9. After the terrible service I received, I knew I just couldn't justify leaving a tip. As I was getting into my car, this guy had the nerve to say "what, you're not gonna give a tip?" I explained to him that his attitude and rudeness left me no choice, but I also said I did not want to get into it and I just wanted to leave. He proceeded to try and argue with me and tell me that I was wrong in feeling that way. Safe to say I will NEVER go back to that location. read more

It took over a month to schedule a detail to find out they are closed. Called the North Providence location and the employees were rude and complained about all the cars and work they have due to Groupon deals sold. Also was told that I had to wait another month before getting my car detailed totaling to over 3 months after buying the Groupon to get serviced. This is the biggest joke and scam out there. Clearly there's a problem with the phone number and it should be corrected. I tried calling daily for weeks and no answer/can't leave a vm. Somehow I finally reached someone who claims he's the manager and explained the situation, and now my Groupon was about to expire. He proceeded to argue with me RELENTLESSLY insisting he answers his phone all the time. He would not let up then finally finally said he would "take care of me". I went down for the appointment and he STILL argued for 10 min with me that he doesn't know who I called and I obviously didn't call him. I don't know who else I could call besides the number I see on the Groupon!!!! I double and triple checked it. They ended up doing a pretty good job (to which I gave a $20 tip), but I would NEVER go back or recommend this place to anyone ever because this man's attitude and insistent behavior that the customer was wrong is unacceptable.
