Had a GREAT experience at SOAP. The previous day a contractor threw two buckets of water with paint and grout mixed in over a balcony and it hit my car. I wasn't sure how easy it would come off. I got there first thing and despite it starting to rain, they waived me in when I explained the situation. Well, I have to say- they were super friendly and more than helpful and my car looked better than it did coming off the dealership's lot. Immaculate. Tip these guys well. They try to take advantage of women. Tried to upcharge me for $40 exterior/ interior wash by saying $55 for sap. NO SAP on my car at all! Most of the time it is parked in my driveway where there are no trees and none nearby. Was told this once before. Both times I took it home and washed it myself with hose, no detergent. Dirt washed right off in 20 minutes. Took car back and asked if he saw any sap now. he said no and I said it's because there never was any. Rude and condescending, lost out on $40 for the business and $10 a tip by being a jerk. I am 80 years old! I'm sure if I was 20, and a blonde with big boobs, would have had a free car wash. Paid $57 for mainly the interior to be cleaned how I wanted it so I didn't have to do a self cleaning as I usually do every other week detailing my own car. My car isn't hard to clean but wanted to be treated as I didn't want to sweat today. Update: BEWARE. I went back to have them fix the issue and Ryan was very helpful with correcting the matter. He asked me to remove my review, and I was until another associate of Soap reached out to me. Keep in mind, I received messages from him after my issue was resolved, so my review would have been updated to reflect positively on my experience. I'll give them an extra star for Ryan's effort. But David, I recommend that you undergo training because your lack of customer service is tarnishing to this business. I will not be back because of you and will let others know of my experience. I just spent $140 for an exterior wash with wax and rain-x and an interior detailing to include conditioning of my leather seats. The inside of my car is practically as dirty as it was when I brought it in. I called David M. to see if they had forgotten to condition my seats and after talking with his staff that cleaned my car, he told me that they did the best they could but my seats were just old(I drive a 2014 Nissan Juke). After checking again I can tell that they weren't even cleaned well, if at all. The dirt is still there. I've came to this location a couple of times to receive service for my vehicle. Unfortunately, I wasn't satisfied the last couple of times as I always like to give small businesses a shot to earn my business. First, the car was is $50 which isn't a problem. It becomes a problem when they aren't providing the best service. My car wasn't filthy at all. Mainly pollen on the interior of the vehicle. They missed the whole entire seat and it was extremely rushed as I just watched them perform the service. I will not return to this location, but if you get your vehicle washed here make sure you are triple or quadruple checking to ensure your car is clean for the amount they are charging. By the way, I was almost satisfied with the exterior but a spot or two was missed as well. read more

I came on a Saturday morning around 10 AM and got my honda civic vacuumed, washed and waxed for $95 and they did SUCH a good job!! Literally the cleanest my car has ever been. I sat outside while I waited because it wasn't too cold and I waited about an hour start to finish, and there were at least 4-5 cars ahead of me too. I will definitely be back! read more

After finding a scratch after a wash at my previous car wash spot, I wanted to find a new place that had hand wash. Soap Hand Wash has the most reviews on yelp so I gave it a try. The experience wasn't perfect, but my car never looked so spotless and shiny! For $35, pretty reasonable price, I got the Ultra Soap package($30) with wax spray ($5). Basically, deluxe deal on interior and exterior. Soap is located on Cheshire drive, little past Little Bangkok. It's pretty big lot but with only one main wash station. Once you turn in, you have to drive behind the wash station and park, where they will vaccum the interior first before the wash and drying. I always dread long waits at car washes, but even with lots of cars in front of mine (6 to 7, I believe), overall wait was only an hour, which I thought was pretty good turn around. For waiting, you can have the choice of sitting inside or outside. Both furniture indoors and outdoors is a bit limited and not cohesive but will do the job. For us, we opted to sit outside to get some fresh air, sun, and occasional water mist from the washing station, as the wind carried it over. Of course mist wasn't by choice =) Overall, I was satisfied with Soap. It seems that the staff really works hard as a team to turnover clean cars. The only thing I didn't really like was that Soap washed my floor mats and placed them back wet. I think this is pretty common with most car washes? But I really don't like this and my previous car wash spot would dry them out before putting them back in. Next time, I'll only ask for a vaccum on the mats, I guess. And yes, like all reviews on Yelp, it was a bit uncomfortable hearing the owner yell at his staff across the lot in front of his customers. read more

Came in here to get my Camry washed. It wasn't too dirty on the inside and I wanted the inside and outside washed. They gave me the ULTRA car wash which was $30. They are extremely professional and have their customers in and out very quickly. There's a sitting area with a canopy for customers to seat while waiting on their cars. read more

My review is for a number of visits, but is weighted heavily by my most recent experience. Quality of work: It is a basic car wash and they do a decent job. In the $20 range, it was a good value. I'm slightly irritated when my car is moved by a guy that is smoking while he washes and then changes my radio to his station, which has happened multiple times, but not always. Pricing: Although the website says $24 for SUVs, when you get there they want $50. When I questioned it, the manager gave me some attitude and lecture on you don't question the price of milk at the grocery store. Management: It seems there are usually 2 different managers for the car wash. One guy is really hard-working, inspects the cars for quality, and is good to deal with. The other manager is some New Jersey obnoxious type with mirrored sun glasses who just sits around in an easy chair waiting for customers to be rude to (as in conversation above). Update: 4 months and 2 days after this last visit to this business and after this place was long forgotten, I received a new comment from this manager calling me "uneducated". The funny part, of course, is that he made 2 grammatical errors in his insulting note. Steer clear of this place at all costs as this owner may not be stable mentally. read more

The low rating is due to the fact that they talk to their employees in an unprofessional manner. During my visit you sit in the lot and you can hear them and see them yell at the staff. I witnessed this first hand. There is a larger gentleman that greets you and he has been rude the last two times I came. Car wash itself was average. Update 1/12/18 - the owner responded to my review with a nasty message. Please see photos attached. After reading his comments you can make your own judgement on whether this establishment is best for you and your family. The owner was extremely rude to all the employees and his customers. I asked for three things in particular to be cleaned on my car and none of those three things were done. Maybe it's because the employee I told them to walked out because of the owners attitude. Literally two employees left during my 30 minute experience here. When I walked up to the owner to try and show him my issues, he would not even look. He just yelled at someone else to fix it and told me to take a seat. Overall he was rude and hostile with me. I payed 50 bucks to get stressed out. Will not return. I have been going to Soap for many years, and have always found the manager, Ryan, to be there, to be extremely hard-working, to be on top of things, and to be detailed and diligent. Whether I get a wash or a wax detailing,Ryan always goes through the car thoroughly before I leave, checks for anything that needs to be done, and asks me if there's anything I feel needs to be attended to. If I point something out, he takes care of it right away. Are they the cheapest in town? No. And by far, they are not the most expensive. However, they are a fair value. Many of the guys there have been working there for years. It is hot in Atlanta, and this is hard work. Even in the heat of the summer, these guys work hard, and have a good attitude. Folks, this is a hand car wash. They are busy. Why are they busy, because a lot of people feel like I do. Yes, you may have to wait if you can't drop your car off. In addition to the tent, they have a little inside room with a TV. Just ask. Yes, there is an end to their day, and if you try to come right before closing, that will not work. And, yes, David, the owner, does not take criticism as well as he should, and probably does need to work on that, including his response to comments below. Still, I have not found a better choice in the area. If you would rather drive down the street so that a gorilla can use mechanical brushes to wash your car and overspray a bunch of window cleaning liquid all over your interior upholstery, go for it. Or, if you want to drive a little further up in Buckhead and pay considerably more to be pampered, and, perhaps, get a little nicer result, you can try that, too. read more

Literally a guy looks at the car and says you need to pay x. Doesn't even look inside the car. Low star service for five star pricing. No indoor waiting area, they don't even throw away the trash (empty snack bar covers, used tissue, etc.) or put random items in a plastic bag. Especially the owner/manager, he checked my car after it's ready, and went through one more time see if it's dried and cleaned properly.
