This team really stood out! The products they used have maintained a magnificent shine and cleanliness, even 6 weeks later...during the winter! I have to say that they turned my 20-year-old Honda Accord Hybrid into a very exciting vehicle to drive. I've gone here twice now. The first time they restored the paint on my older model car that sits outdoors. The paint was looking dingy, rusty and had the car looking very unappealing. Going through the car wash, or washing the car myself would not remove the crud that was built up on the paint. After it was washed and waxed (at a great price) by Detail Tech it looked brand new again! So my husband decided to have his Audi detailed here. He had the interior and exterior done. Their attention to detail is amazing! They had the carpet looking new, the car smelled fresh, it was shining like the first day we bought it AND the price was fair. We are very happy with their services here. We always get our car back the same day we schedule the service for. Today, I accidentally tapped my wife's car while backing out of our garage, causing some pretty noticeable blemishes on both vehicles. They went above and beyond to repair the damage on both cars. I really like Derick and Erica. Very nice people. However, I will no longer do business with them or recommend them to others. I have spend roughly $5,000 dollars with them in the past couple years and I have found the work that they do generally does not meet expectations. My 1980 corvette was taken in there for ceramic coating. The prep work ahead of the application was poor and swirls can be seen in the finish. Dereck offered to paint my 1981 corvette. I did not realize it when I accepted his offer, but this would be one of the most costly decisions I could have made. In addition to mechanical damage, the paint work is EXTREMELY bad. There are areas where there is actually no paint. There are areas where the paint is cracking and peeling just one year after painting. There are even areas where there is no paint at all. I paid in full for all of the work even though it was inferior. Derek made many promises to make corrections. One year later, he has not come through or even offered a refund of any kind. I do not recommend doing business with Detail Tech. I wish them success in the future, but I will not recommend their work and I will share my experience where appropriate. Update.... In subsequent correspondence and interaction, Erica and Dereck have suggested that poor workmanship from them is to be expected given the low price paid for the paint job..... just to be clear, detail tech is a business engaged in commerce in the east Cobb area of Marietta Georgia. In the case of the paint work; Derick is a business owner that agreed to do a job for a set price. He set the price. Not me. I agreed to his price. The work was done poorly. When the car was picked up, Dereck agreed the work was done poorly. And he stated that he would make it right. He stated that there were areas where there was insufficient paint and where there was no clear coat applied. He did not keep his word and did not return calls and text messages. In the year since this work was done, the paint on the front fenders has begun to crackle and peel as you can see in the photos provided. As for the clear coat on my other car.... There was a single spot on the hood (1inch x 2inch) that we discussed Prior to the work, that would not be able to be corrected. Several months after the ceramic job was done, Derick was looking at my car as it was displayed at a local car show. He remarked about the many swirl marks he observed in the paint and stated that he was not happy with the way the work came out and he stated that he wanted to make it right. Once again, Derick never followed up. Erica is correct, I never asked for a refund. I paid in full and trusted Dereck to make things right. I took him at his word. He did not keep his word. You will notice a common response style anytime detail tech receives a review that is not flattering, it seems they attack the customer in their comments. read more

If only there were more stars to give, I would give like 50 stars for this place. So to start off I requested a quote on yelp and got basically an immediate response even way after hours which was cool. The cost of what I was looking for was upfront they didn't need any pictures although that may be different for somebody else and I was able to come in with in a couple of days. I'm always leery of places I haven't been to before with no recommended to but when I walked in I was treated really nice. This place is family owned and operated and certainly has that feel of family friendly service. I got my headlights refinished and some rim repair done. I met with Derek went over the expectations and what exactly he was gonna be able to do as far as the outcome. This was great because I'd rather know the expectations then being surprised at the end and un happy. So really appreciate that. Everything turned out really awesome, Derek went above and beyond what I was really expecting and that's pretty awesome because you really just don't get that at other places. I definitely recommend this place. It's somewhere I feel like I'm not going to get lied to and I can feel like family when I'm getting my service done here. I chose this location because I felt they were more detailed with their information for repairing my rim. Other places made it sound like a quick fix but this place explained in detail how the repair would be handled. My gut just told me they were the better option and you should always follow instincts. When my rim was fixed, I was texted with the time it would be ready and the receptionist even advised that she would pick up my rim herself if I needed it sooner. Since I was still at work, I advised that it wasn't necessary and I picked it up the next day. I'm so happy they had Saturday hours so I wouldn't have to take off from work. The customer service was really great. Erica responded to my inquiry promptly and got me scheduled right away. The detailer did a great job on the exterior of my car and repaired two of my rims. The price for rim repair was comparable to other quotes I'd received, and the price of the detail service undercut some other places I've used in the past. I don't think there's a better place in the Metro Atlanta area to have both done at the same time, but I can also recommend the quality of each service individually. I will return with my car next time I'm looking for a detail. When I got there, my car was pretty dirty and the rims were pretty scraped, and it was looking great only six or seven hours later. Making appointment is easy, car was done on time and job was well done. Only downside was they told me it needed a paint correction after the polish. First of all, the staff here is incredible! That needs to motivate you to call/reach out. They maintain a dying trait - ensuring a positive customer experience. Next - We took my husband's truck here to get a complete detail, and it looked amazing upon pick up. It's no doubt backbreaking, exhausting work to do what they do, but they did it in record time, and they made an older truck look (and smell!) new again. Auto detail is an area of service that seems to be so simple that you want to do it yourself rather than paying someone else to do it. Then after all the labor you find that you can't tell anything was done after about 2 weeks. That becomes frustrating. Derek and Erica have an answer to that problem. I'm going to break this down to just 2 areas. The first is quality work. They are polite, knowledgeable, and hard at it. They have done all of our company vehicles inside and out. The second is product. Time will tell how well the ceramic coating and interior protection will last but the initial review is great. The warranty is in writing and recorded with product manufacturer online. If it truly last 5 years it will be the best money spent in a long time. I would rate a 10 out of 5 because I am that satisfied with Detail Tech! read more

They did a great job on my son's 11-year old truck. Had it detailed inside & out. We also chose to have a ceramic coating applied so my son won't need to wax it and the coating will help protect the paint from the elements. Derek made it look as good as he possibly could.
