We order our produce from The Prep Table every week and it's the best quality! It's the freshest produce we've ever gotten. The website is super easy to order on and they text us when our order is ready for pick up. We stopped buying our produce from the grocery store over a year ago when we started buying it from The Prep Table. I highly recommend ordering your produce here. I have been coming to The Prep Table for years and love the freshness and variety of fruits and veggies. Now the Deli on the Corner has reopened as Four Corners. Don't look at the website as it only mentions drinks. Come in and have breakfast, lunch or dinner 7a-7:30 pm M-Sat It is comfy, not very noisy even when busy and the food is delicious, fresh and healthy (though not too healthy). You place your order at the register and pick it up as well as fill your own drinks but the staff are helpful and friendly. It is well worth a check out even if it is out of the way. They have salads to go or you can pre-order from The Prep Table and pick it up on the way out after eating. I was very impressed and will be back. read more

THE COOK DOES NOT WEAR A MASK. This dude is the only guy I see here EVERY TIME I come in. The rest of the staff is a hit or miss, but this dude is ALWAYS here. And he NEVER covers his face or nose. Received a gift card to this business from a friend for Christmas. Ordered two dinners and some additional items and they were ready to be picked up the following day. Entered the business and no one was present as they were taking out an order for a contactless delivery. No, "We'll be right back" just walked out the door leaving me in the building by myself. I walked up to a long counter with a cash register and wait for them to return. A young man, early 20's?, walked over to the register and after a bit, looked up at me and said, "yeah"? I then completed the transaction, picked up my food and walked out the door. What was wrong? Rudeness to start. No greeting, no initial eye contact or can I help you? After the transaction was completed, no "thank you" or "please come again". Nothing, nada, zip. Being not real happy about what transpired, I thought about it on Sunday. I then called the business on Monday, the 22nd to ask for the owner and lodge a complaint for the poor customer service. The owner was not present but I was told he would return my call, today, the 23rd of March. So what happened? Nothing. No call back from the owner or anyone else. Disappointing to say the least as the food was excellent but I will not stand for rudeness nor the inability to respond to a simple customer service issue. Will I return? We shall see. Does the owner read these reviews? Or is the owner too busy as it would seem, to return a phone call. As I said; disappointing. read more

Web site is a bit confusing but workable. My pickup window was 3-4 pm. Arrived there at 3:10 and sent them a text with my parking space number. Waited appx 8 minutes for a gentleman to come out pushing a cart with my order. I opened my trunk and he loaded my items in. Closed the trunk and I was on my way. When I arrived home and unpacked I was pleasantly surprised with how nice all the vegetables looked and, all the items I ordered were there! Haven't tried everything yet...get to that starting today. Guessing that I paid 10-15% more than the grocery store but, not counting the drive, my shopping only took 8 minutes! And I didn't have to interact with anyone. When COVID hit they found a solution , it may of had its bumps BUT they were the only place that has been able to provide us with food and good food. There serving are large and meal kits are great . I just picked up a order and they called me because something was left behind . Yes it may of been a inconvenience and I was bummed BUT they credited my account for my next visits. I ordered several soups to have for my lunch this week and am soooo glad I did. They are delicious!! Had the butternut squash on Monday with a piece of gluten free toast with melted cheese. Yesterday it was turkey chili with tortilla chips. So flavorful, gluten free and belly friendly without beans. Today it is lentil soup, also packed with flavor. We also got the stir fry veggies and had for dinner with added shrimp and a simple stir fry sauce (served 4). Eating fresh, healthy food without spending a lot of time in the kitchen. read more

I have used Prep Table for a few years now and was happy with there service, but lately their quality has been slipping. Yesterday I ordered my usual large order, when it was delivered they had replaced the potatoes I ordered with another type that I did not want, the guy kept trying to push them on us finally he relented and said he would be back tomorrow with the correct ones, we realized after he left that tomorrow was Wednesday and they are closed on that day so goodbye potatoes We also ordered a prep meal kit, they did not include the recipe I had to print it myself, they also did not give us the itemized receipt, to add insult to injury some of the fruit I ordered was inedible Sad it has come to this but I just don't think I can use there services again read more

Last night my husband and I went to a cooking class at the prep table. Chef Anthony was entertaining and had lots of information about the ingredients he was working with. The theme of the dinner was a romantic valentines dinner which consisted of an appetizer of bruschetta and perfectly toasted bread, we had a salad with the most amazing raspberry vinaigrette, 2 rounds of dinner were veal with mushroom sauce, balsamic bacon Brussels sprouts, and pasta with a Parmesan cream sauce, then we had turkey wrapped asparagus, smashed potatoes. Dessert was an amazing cherries jubilee with freshly pitted cherries. Oh and there were wine tastings with every course. The whole thing was just amazing. I already was a big fan of the prep table with all of their fresh veggies, fruits, meals to go etc. Great job to everyone at the prep table. Amazing service. Great food. I believe this place used to be Washington Produce, a very similar business, but in any event , I cannot say enough good things about them! I've had food delivered several times since this pandemic craziness, and have not been disappointed. Everything I have ordered has been very fresh and sumptuous, including steaks, chicken, salads , produce and dairy products. They even deliver to my doorstep. Very convenient. I agree with other Yelpers that their website could be better designed--sometimes it's hard to find anything in particular unless you just do a search. I also agree that their prices are probably slightly higher than a regular grocery store, but you get what you pay for. Their employees are also all very polite and professional. Overall, a very good value in my opinion , considering the very high quality of food and the convenience of delivery. I love the ease and convenience of ordering ready to make meals and fresh cut fruits and vegetables online. I've enjoyed everything we've ordered so far. They also have a deli with salads, sandwiches and juices. The fresh cut fruit, sun dried tomato hummus, and chicken lettuce wraps are my favorites. Love this place! Everything I've ordered here has been 100% fresh. This is not a catering or takeout establishment (not including the deli which is within the same building but separate from the "Prep" area); most of the items will require prep and planning before serving, but it's definitely worth it. The benefit of the meal kits is having all the ingredients you need, in the correct amounts, to make a tasty meal quicker than it would take to plan a meal from scratch. This place is essentially an in-person Blue Apron or HelloFresh, with the flexibility of ordering when you want and not worrying about delivery. You can also order produce such as veggies and fruit platters or cups, as well as side dishes like guac, hummus, salsa, etc. The fruit offered BLOWS away the prepped fruit found in grocery stores. I have yet to receive a single piece of fruit that has not been absolutely sweet and perfect. They literally serve some of the best prepped fruit I've ever had. The jalapeño hummus and spicy guac is also to die for! In terms of the meal kit, I've only tried a few so far, but the chicken caesar wrap meal kit was SO good and had great flavor, and also so easy and convenient to whip together at home. We used Blue Apron in the past and I consider Prep Table recipes easier to make, very tasty and typically makes more servings than specified. The price can't be beat either. I love Washington Produce. I love them dearly! In fact, I worry about moving out of the area and not being able to get my produce from WP. When a friend mentioned that WP is where she gets her fruits and vegetables, I was confused. I thought it was some type of shipyard where restaurants and grocery stores went to get their own produce. Part of their business is just that. However, for the general public they have a website where you can order the fruits and vegetable you want and pick them up later already bagged and ready to be taken home. Why not just go to the grocery store to pick up some oranges and red peppers instead of ordering them online? The quality of their produce is outstanding. They vacuum seal certain items so that they stay fresher longer. There are several prepackaged vegetables mixes that make a quick and healthy stir-fry only moments away from the dinner table. For a few more cents, you can get some veggies precut and ready for cooking. I'm not always sure how to tell that fruits and veggies are ripe or at their peak of deliciousness but WP knows and they only put the best in my bag. My favorite are the fruit cups. Typically they have a fruit cup on special each week that is only $1-$3 dollars. This week is was oranges and papaya. They were cut up on the day that I picked up my order and they tasted so sweet! Last week it was a berry cup with blueberries and strawberries for $1.25. Their fruit cups are bigger and fresher than you'll find anywhere else. I eat so many more fruits and veggies because of WP! If you're going to try them, be sure to sign up for their e-newsletter and friend them on facebook. Washington Produce is a fabulous place to get your fruits and veggies. The quality FAR surpasses grocery store produce. I can keep most items in my refrigerator for two weeks if necessary - that would be impossible with grocery store purchases. I was particularly impressed with their mushrooms, white and crimini, WOW they were super fresh and solid. I love everything from artichokes to zuchinni. The prices are reasonable - VERY reasonable. You can order one item or several. I've walked away with $4 to $50 worth of produce and I'm always happy, happy, happy! Do yourself a huge favor and start ordering your produce this week. This was alot easier to do than my other produce pickup that I used to do! I just order online the day I want to pick up, go down the list of items-- (If you are on their mailing list, they send you their weekly picks in the baskets) and you click away and add to your order. They have organic and local produce. The only thing that I had a problem was, is that my chard was SO FRESH as in, it just rained and was picked and brought to me-- that it had quite a few bugs on it trying to hide from the rain I presume. (Little black things-- aphids? No wings?) So many I had to throw out one piece. If you're into pesticide free stuff, then i'm sure it wouldn't have bothered you at all. Other than that, the organic oranges I got were excellent- juicy and sweet, the other fruits and vegies were really tasty too!
