I stopped by this location and got the Mango Pineapple bowl and UGH it was exactly what I needed. The ice cold blend of mango, pineapple, banana, coconut milk was everything. It was refreshing, sweet, and so fulfilling; the chopped strawberry, blueberries, and pineapple were also all perfectly ripe, cold, and juicy! SoBol's granola blend is a beauty in itself, it's touted as a special house-made blend and it's so crispy, nutty, and well spiced with a touch of cinnamon. I always order from here when I work in Commack, and let me tell you- SoBol never ever disappoints. Their acai bowls are out of this world. I like getting the regular acai with peanut butter. It comes with blueberry, banana, strawberry, granola, honey and coconut shavings already on it. The addition of their creamy smooth peanut butter really packs on the punch here! Very convenient location right on Jericho. Came on my lunch break for a quick acai bowl. Workers were very friendly and let me customize my bowl to my liking! I got extra coconut on the bottom of my bowl and added mango and peanut butter. The laurels butter they have is absolutely delicious!!! All of the sobols are pretty similar for me. FINALLY! A "fast food" place without the junk food. I was in the food for a nice healthy breakfast & luckily I remembered SoBol's name, because I remember seeing a friend post a açaí bowl on instagram that I was pretty jealous of. Of course I needed to give it a try and SoBol did not disappoint. Service was super fast and the bowl was made perfectly. I opted for the pitaya bowl. I chose the one they had as standard for the toppings. From bottom to top, it had homemade granola, a thick layers of cold freshly blended pitaya, another layer of granola topped with juicy kiwi, mango, pineapple, shredded coconut drizzled with honey. Wow. I literally have nothing bad to say about the bowl or SoBol. Fast, fresh and convenient. This particular bowl was $9 and change, which can be a bit pricy, but you pay for what you get. If you ask me, Health is wealth, therefore it was worth every dollar. read more

Phones were shut off and you couldn't call in an order. He did try returning my call. It was Christmas Eve, so I'm assuming that the lack of workers was the issue. The owner didn't seem to understand what was going on and how to make a bowl. There was only one worker there (with her cell phone to her ear the entire time), but she was still working efficiently. This is not my usual type of fare, as I'm more of a steakhouse type of person. I was pleasantly surprised. This place is awesome! I opted for this locale, as I was meeting up with someone for work who has a lot of food allergies; not unlike myself. The location is convenient and simple to find. You can easily see it from Jericho Turnpike. Ample parking and well illuminated at night. The readerboard is highly visible upon entry, indicating specials, and nice menu highlights. The atmosphere is fresh, modern and airy. Pleasant and open floor plan. Pleasing decor. The lighting is sufficient, adequate and pleasing. The employees are very accommodating. They definitely strive to provide superior customer service. My companion and I both have food allergies, and they were not only able to assist both of us, they even made credible suggestions, which turned out to be amazing. The staff goes above and beyond. Very impressed. They are very big on Acai, but there is a good selection of fare here. They even have Nutella and waffles. It was a nice quiet environment, and even the other patrons were incredibly friendly. Restrooms are very clean and well stocked with handsoap and toilet tissue. Good lighting in here as well. I waited 40 minutes for a kid size bowl and a small smoothie. 6 people after me ordered and got their items before I received mine. I asked for the manager and she said I'm sorry we are short staffed- I understand that completely- in what right way or mind do you complete orders out of order ? The manger had no sympathy and offered me a free açaí bowl on the House next time I come in.. the next time I come in? There will not be a next time. She did not even give me a voucher - nothing. My only complaint is yes- I did come in like 10-15 min after opening but I was about to get paid in an hour and was down to my last bit of money so I paid half cash , half change (all quarters tho), and counted it out for the cashier but felt judged. And I never pay in change, I only thought it would be appreciated since where I work, I have no change sometimes and rely on customers that pay in change. I've been a huge supporter of SoBol Commack since they opened. The fruit and granola are amazing. I get that as a young person the food and service industry is difficult, and I can look past the customer service, But I can't justify paying $8 dollars for a half filled bowl. More often than not we walk out with half filled bowls. Today I walked in and noticed prices are going up for 2019. I always ask for and PAY for EXTRA/DOUBLE coconut and never get it. These are two of the bowls I asked for extra coconut on and there isn't even the normal amount yet, I paid for extra coconut. Stopped in around 4pm mid-week and the place was empty. I got a regular traditional acai bowl which did not disappoint! it was filled to the rim with just the right amount of fruits, oats and acai. The staff was friendly and it was made in a timely manner. I ordered it to stay and did notice alot of people coming in and out ordering to go. I got the super green smoothie that consists of spinach, Kale, bananas, almond milk and mango that gives it the perfect amount of tartness and sweetness. So I've never we had an Acai bowl but I have heard all about them . I have been feeling a bit run down and decided I needed a healthy meal . I googled places near me that had Açai bowls and decided to give it a try . The girl at the counter was nice and let me sample the pitaya ( dragonfruit) and the Açai. There was another staff , maybe the manager who was also very nice and he let me sample a coconutty butter which was delicious . My Açai bowl was soooo delicious and I'm sorry that I'm so late to the smoothie bowl game but at least I have arrived . I will definitely be returning here and will be bringing my husband with me . I go to SoBol Commack to get a smoothie for breakfast most days that I have work. I've been to lots of different locations, and I love the açai bowls. However, it's much easier for me to have an açai smoothie on my way to work. After about two weeks or so of consistently going to Commack, the owner started to recognize me. We are huge acai bowl fans. We really do love SoBol in general but I do not like how the default granola contains nuts. We always make sure to state that we must only have nut free granola for my son who has nut allergies and every other SoBol understands but this particular location has messed up my son's order every single time. One time they gave it to us with nuts and thankfully I tried it first to see otherwise he would have ended up in the hospital. And then today, they decided not to include granola at all even though we specified nut free granola. My son was so upset that I had to turn around and drive 15 minutes back so they could correct the order. read more

Seems simple enough. 2 minutes later cashier informs me that I was charged for a large not a small and offered a refund for the difference.
