Large place with plenty of seating which I appreciate, it's got an inviting vibe to it. Lots of options to pick from, but it is a chain. There really is no authentic option for a real French patisserie where we live so this is what we get. It's a bit loud inside. There are cases of all sorts of pastries, sweet, and savory, you pick up a tray and tongs and then you place what you want on the tray. If you want drinks, you order them up at the front. Everything looks very good. I got a chocolate supreme croissant, which was good. The croissant was flaky and crunchy, had some chocolate pastry cream inside, it was dipped into some chocolate. It was good. I enjoyed it. It's mainly self serve. The girl who rang me up was nice and friendly. The prices are reasonable. I probably will go back at some point and try some other items. read more

Stopped in to pick up some pastries. It's pumpkin season so I scout out the pumpkin options. Our usual favorites are the sugar mochi donut and the blueberry cream cheese pastry. The sugar mochi donut is light, airy and chewy and not too sweet. Can't resist getting a soft cream bread, great with just butter or lightly toasted with butter and jam. Today we also picked up a pumpkin scone and Dubai chocolate mochi donut. Nice selection of cake options and cake slices. Spacious inside and service was friendly and fast. read more

this is a tremendous space. Very clean. Staff is very nice. They have a really big selection of yummy treats and savory pastries. I usually do not like chain stores, but this place was amazing. I got a lavender Matcha frappe. I also got an almond croissant and a Dubai chocolate mochi doughnut. Yum.! read more

The inside of this place is really beautiful, i love what they've done with it. lots of seating inside and plenty of room. It's funny too see that i wasn't the only one that was surprised by the almond croissant, the filling was coming out of it like a baking soda volcano. My only complaint is that if it's possible to have labels about which pastries have a filling that would be great because i had no idea. I'm not sure if the others are like this too but they might be getting overfilled which could be an easy fix. best of luck to this new location read more

so many options, i was blown away by the selection. i ended up getting a mango cream brioche, I LOVED IT!!! i made a great choice. i'm on the fence about coming back. i prefer small businesses. it's just another overpriced chain in my opinion. it's like those $6 for a giant cookie spots that kept taking over the world read more

We came here to get a little dessert for us and the kiddos. Paris Baguette is new to the Commack area, though they have other locations. The interior is very cute and inviting. I love the blue and white decor. Everything is bright and clean and you are greeted with an array of cases and many choices. We tried several items and bought a baguette (it's in the name, we had to!) for the next day. To be honest, I didn't love the almond croissant. There was a crazy amount of custard filling inside. Overall, it was just too much. Our favorite was the strawberry tarte. Second was the chocolate stick. When we ate the baguette the next day, we found it to be underbaked. It toasted up okay but wasn't the best baguette we've had. This place has a lot of potential. I love the idea of a place to grab a sweet treat that has ample seating, tons of choices and is reasonably priced. I didn't try the coffee as we came in the evening, but I'll be back to explore other desserts this time with a latte in hand. read more

As for the pastries, they look beautiful in the case, and there's a good variety to choose from. But taste-wise, I found them to be just okay. Nothing was bad, but nothing really blew me away either. The croissants were decent, the cakes were cute but a bit on the sweet side, and some of the items felt more style than substance. Paris Baguette is one of my favorite spots to visit and get work done. I am not the biggest fan of the serve yourself idea but whatever. It is clean and spacious. Fluffy donut filled with this vanilla cream and topped with this sweet mango, it's something I can have every single day of my life. The blueberry one is top tier as well! You also have to try their pumpkin cream pastry. Doesn't the name spark an interest in your stomach? It sure did with mine! Delicious, flaky croissant like pastry with creamy pumpkin cream, like a brûlée, yum yum yum! My biggest obsession I have is their avocado sandwich. What a wide spacious cafe! There aren't many cafes I would be willing to drive out for but I feel Paris Baguette conquers that feeling. It's got both divine food and excellent drinks that, the trip out is worth it. I usually get an iced latte Sunday morning before I head out to do grocery shopping and it's such a great place for some time with family or by yourself. Who doesn't want a good cup of coffee to go with their pastry? The drip coffee tasted like water. I'm not sure if it wasn't brewed correctly or if it was the time of the day because it was 5 PM. All of the pastries look like little pieces of art. This was one of the first times I was there so I tried the almond raspberry croissant. I would give it an eight out of 10. Food is good. Service at check out is horrible. If you chose a order a poured black coffee to go ali with your sweets, pray that no one ahead of you ordered a latte. The person ringing you up won't pour your coffee in a cup, nope nope. You will wait until every single complicated coffee concoction is craved for the people in front of you by the one person behind the counter handling all coffee orders. Really not ideal, came in with my kid for a quick bite and had to get rude to get my coffee. Only good if you have plenty of time to wait around or doing take out. read more

My first experience with the Paris Baguette in Commack was interesting to say the least. After waiting a little over an hour and a half for my online order to be delivered I was confused by what awaited me. Of the 11 items I had ordered, 1 was missing and 5 were the incorrect item. They use DoorDash on their end but you order through the Paris Baguette website so you have to call their store directly about problems with your order. One of my biggest issues was that instead of the turkey apple goat cheese baguette that I ordered I was given a Caprese Baguette. The man on the phone informed me that they had sold out of turkey so they had subbed my item. No phone call, no need to check if this was okay with me or if I had a food allergy. I'm guessing this is what happened with the other 5 items that they got wrong as well. From what myself and my family tasted of the items that they did get right I will give them another try but will definitely visit in person next time. read more
