i was really surprised and greatful being able to schedule my visit with dr boykins in a very timely manner. i have been waiting 3 to 4 weeks to see my other two doctors the main visit that i needed for another doctor visit was 3 months so how greatful i was to see dr. boykins so soon. i have seen two other podiatry doctors and all was not good at all . my arrival at this office was very promising immediately. he really cares about his patients such a outstanding bedside manner. he spent extra time listening and explaning my situation he was so calm and relaxed now days doctors are in a hurry and i have been told lets get moving i have another patient in 15 minutes how sad is that? my daughter was with me for the appointment and he even took the time to listen to her and give her advise that was very helpful. i/we will certainly continue as patients here at this office. very knowledgeable and outstanding doctor and great staff. read more

Based on bad reviews, I was scared to come to this office, but I have been blown away at how awesome Dr. Boykins and his staff are. I really don't understand these other low reviews. I'm a harsh no nonsense reviewer and I've given more bad reviews than good. I've been here 3 times and would give them 10 stars if I could. Doctor: Have seen about 5 different podiatrist in the past 5 years. By a mile, Dr. Boykins is the best. He genuinely cares for his patients and it shows in his outstanding bedside manner. He loves his job and taking care of people, unlike the other jerk Doctor that I went to in Moreno Valley. Dr. Boykins is very thorough in examining you and getting a full medical history and doesn't mind spending extra time with you to listen to you, which is something you hardly see in any other doctors these days. He's very calm, relaxed, and makes you feel he values your opinion and welcomes questions. Dr. Boykins is also a surgeon and it's a rarity to find the expertise and kindness in a doctor. Staff: Staff are personal, very polite, and treat you like family. After putting you in the office, they come in a little later and ask if you need anything like water, etc. It's like going to a health spa and being pampered. Also a rarity, they help you put your socks and shoes back on which was a complete shock. Other doctor's just walk out of the office and let you fend for yourself. When you call they answer the phone politely and call you back to get you an answer to your question. Appointment scheduling: No issues with appointment scheduling 30 days out and they found an available slot the week after 1st appointment to come back in for further diagnostic tests. To give you perspective, when you go to McDonald's, you spend 10 minutes to order and eat. When you go to a 5 star Michelin rated restaurant, you're going to spend an hour enjoying the best services. Since the doctor and staff spends extra time taking care of patients, sometimes appointment time runs later and get pushed back. I have 1 other doctor that does this also and it's because they spend extra time with the patient because they are really good doctor also. When you book your appointment, keep this in mind that you may be leaving later and plan accordingly. Parking: The office entrance is facing the charter school not the taco bell. In front of the entrance the parking is more busy there but there's no handicap spots in front of the door. You have to go to the south side of the building where there's plenty of handicap spots all congregated together for the whole building. Billing: They take anthem blue cross PPO and have had no issues with billing. I read other reviews that say that you have to put a deposit for appointments but in the three visits so far, never have been asked for money or to book an appointment. Hello to all, I was a student with this place to get my medical assisting certificate, they took me on knowing that I don't know anything of the medical world that this would be my first time. Office manager Ana is terrible. She didn't put me to work and then let me go with out any notice. They don't clean their utensils properly. It gets rinsed and then used on patients. They don't have proper material or communication. Many patients came in mad because they all needed notes that Ana would not submit but then gas light them saying that she did. They also have kids who come in and out like it's a play ground pretty crazy to me. Just wanted to warn the community on this terrible place. read more

A $50 deposit to make an appointment to see the doctor that is unheard of in this industry for a podiatry appointments. If you really want people to rate you well don't start of running people away before we get there. Not a good look. SoCal Podiatry - After getting my toe done - Podiatrists Near Me - Moreno Valley, California

I saw him months ago to get a surgery process started because I need to have it done at a specific date, the beginning of September. It was agreed upon & all my follow up appointments were scheduled to prepare for surgery. Came back today for what was supposed to be my first pre-op appointment, and was told "Oh no, I have not scheduled it & I'm not going to be here then." I had called weeks ago to verify that he had scheduled my surgery, & even today was told by his staff that even though they had asked him several times, he would never do it nor give an answer. I'm supposed to have surgery in SEVEN WEEKS & now I have to find another doctor because this one forgot to follow through because "there are so many people" on the message list that I just "got lost." This is unacceptable. Do not go here if you are expecting any sense of professionalism. I'm am completely shattered, in violent pain, & cannot have surgery until NEXT YEAR unless I can find an available podiatrist asap. read more

Called me after hours to let me know last minute they can't not take me in due to a referral number error where there was nothing that could be done. Unprofessional especially since this was booked way in advance and then informing me the issue when this is an easy problem to solve if they were just to keep me informed of the situation. I went in terrified as it was my first time visiting a podiatrist. The staff was super nice very clean and welcoming office. When I met Dr. boykins I didn't know what to expect as I'm used to going into Drs offices and them being in a rush and having a bad attitude Dr. Boykins was so patient, so knowledgeable, so understanding very calm and gentle he took my time with me and addressed all of my concerns it almost felt like family I felt so comfortable. I went in for a painful ingrown and left feeling brand New I will definitely be back and I highly recommend this place for any foot needs. read more

I brought my sister who is disabled here and this Dr is by far the sweetest man, he was so gentle and patient with her. Dr. S. Boykins explained everything to us step-by-step as he was working on her. He didn't seem rushed, he sat there talking to her and making sure she wasn't scared. read more

I seen the Dr for the first time today. He takes his time to get to know your history and what's wrong with you. He talks you through the treatment opinions. I'm giving this place a 5 star review because I received excellent treatment here. I had an infected ingrown toenail and I'm extremely scared of needles. Dr. Boykins was understanding and made me as comfortable as possible. After the numbing process, the ingrown was removed quickly and it was an easy process from there. In my initial visit he took a good deal of time to evaluate my condition and determine options. Even after leaving I received a call with a suggestion.
